Real Madrid can win LaLiga title TONIGHT against Villarreal as 18 out of 20 teams play at same time in penultimate game

REAL MADRID can win the LaLiga title tonight should they beat Villarreal at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.
With just two games to go in the Spanish top-flight, Los Blancos sit four points clear at the top of the table with Barcelona trailing behind in second.

    2

Real Madrid are on the verge of winning their 34th LaLiga title
And with all 20 teams in action on Thursday – with nine fixtures being played at the same time – the champagne is on ice in Madrid.
Real can also secure a record 34th LaLiga title should the Blaugrana drop points at home against Osasuna.
But judging by the form of Zinedine Zidane’s side, it is unlikely they will need Osasuna to do them a favour.
The break caused by the coronavirus crisis came at the best time for Real as they regrouped following their disappointing 2-1 defeat away at Real Betis in March.

However since the restart of football last month, they have been in scintillating form – winning all nine league games.
In that period, they have scored 17 goals, while conceding just three goals – keeping an impressive six clean sheets.
And they face a Villarreal side low on confidence after they suffered a 2-1 loss against Real Sociedad at home on Monday.
Their failure to pick up the three points saw them miss out on a Champions League spot, with the club now looking to finish the season in fifth place.

Barcelona need to win and hope Real Madrid drop points if they want the race for the title to continue until the last game of the season

All signs point towards a Real victory as they look to win their first Spanish title since the 2016/17 season.
Gareth Bale appears set to miss out on the starting XI again with the Welsh winger failing to come on in any of the last five matches.
His future at the club remains uncertain with Real desperate to get him off their wage bill, while the player is understood to be happy to see out the final two years of his contract at the Bernabeu.

Wilfried Zaha at centre of four-club tug-of-war as Newcastle, Everton, Atletico and Bayern all eye transfer for winger

CRYSTAL PALACE winger Wilfried Zaha faces another summer of uncertainty at Selhurst Park with four clubs chasing him.
The 27-year-old – who saw potential moves to Arsenal and Everton fall through last year due to the Eagles’ £80million price tag – has once again played big part in the South London side’s season.

Zaha has featured in all 35 Premier League games for Palace – chipping in with four goals and five assists.
And fans will be now wondering whether this will be the last campaign he has at the club, with the Daily Mail stating that the forward is being watched by clubs from around the continent.
They report that Newcastle want him as they eye up a marquee signing should their proposed takeover be completed.
Meanwhile Everton are said to have retained interest in Zaha – despite signing Alex Iwobi from Arsenal after they failed to agree a fee with Palace.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring his situation as they eye up another possible signing from the Premier League, following Leroy Sane’s move from Manchester City.
The Mail then claim that LaLiga outfit Atletico Madrid are also weighing up a move, though the Spanish side are understood to be having financial problems as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

The Covid-19 pandemic could also mean that Palace are unwilling to part ways with Zaha, with it remaining to be seen how much he is valued at now.
Zaha – who has yet again been the target of vile racist abuse – still has three years left to run on his contract.

He has also been linked with a switch to Paris Saint-Germain, with the Ligue 1 side said to have contacted with his agent about a move to France.

PSG ‘demand £72m transfer fee PLUS Ousmane Dembele for Neymar in sensational swap deal with Barcelona’

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have reportedly set their demands for Neymar to seal a return to Barcelona.
Spanish outlet El Chiringuito claim the French champions are demanding £72million PLUS Ousmane Dembele for the Brazilian.

The report adds that PSG would only consider reducing Neymar’s £153m value when the transfer window opens if they get the Frenchman in return.
Dembele has struggled since a £135m move from Borussia Dortmund three years ago.
The French winger has been hampered by injury, making just 74 appearances and scoring 19 goals.
The Barca hierarchy are said to be willing to cut their losses on Dembele after the emergence of wonderkid Ansu Fati.

The France International may be tempted by a bid to return to his homeland revive his career.
Although such a deal would prove a massive U-turn from Barcelona, after president Josep Maria Bartomeu claimed Dembele is better than Neymar last year.
In an interview with Cadena SER, via Sport’s Jaume Lobo, he was asked about the possibility of the club resigning the Samba superstar.
He said: “I won’t say yes or no.

“I say that with their money, Barca made a sporting bet. With that money we went for players like Dembele and [Philippe] Coutinho. Dembele is better than Neymar. He’s at Barca and he is better.”

Neymar has long been linked with a return to the Catalan giants and is said to be in close contact with his former teammates and club staff.
But Nou Camp chief Bartomeu admitted recently that it is unlikely that PSG will put the Brazilian on the market given the financial uncertainty in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.
Barcelona need to balance the books before landing big-money targets with up to seven players, including Philippe Coutinho, up for grabs.

Zidane insists him and Gareth Bale ‘are united’ amid reports Real Madrid are ready to let outcast winger leave for free

ZINEDINE ZIDANE says him and Gareth Bale are “united” amid reports linking the Welshman with a Real Madrid exit this summer.
There has been tension reported between the pair for months with Zidane previously saying it would be better if the ex-Tottenham man left.

Zinedine Zidane says him and Gareth Bale are ‘united’ at Real Madrid

    2

Bale has been linked with a move away this summer
Bale was pictured trolling Zidane again on Monday by clowning around on the bench during Real’s win over Granada – pretending his sock tape was binoculars.
And he had fans roaring with delight on Friday as he used his face mask to jokingly pretend he was having a quick nap as he watched his team-mates beat Alaves.
But despite the fact the Welshman hasn’t played a single minute of Real’s last five games, Zidane hit back at suggestions of a rift between the pair.
Responding to a query about Bale’s future, the Frenchman said: “Madre mia, this question eh.

“I’m not saying anything… you try to put things between us but you won’t be able to.
“Every day you ask the same. You can do it, you have the right to ask what you want. But we’re united. Gareth, James [Rodriguez], everyone.”
Despite Zidane’s attempt to present a united front, Spanish reports claimed earlier today Los Blancos are “ready to rip up Bale’s contract with two years left” and let him leave on a free this summer.
Yesterday SunSport explored Bale’s Bernabeu career including the high of winning the Champions League and the low of being frozen out by Zidane.

The Spanish media have been quick to parody Bale’s “golfer” persona.
But the £350,000-a-week star does not seem to care what they think though, with potentially only a handful of games left in his seven-year stay in the Spanish capital.
Real look set to land their first LaLiga title since 2017 as they sit four points clear of Barcelona with just two games to play.

Zidane asked if Bale should leave. “Madre mia, this question eh. I’m not saying anything… you try to put things between us but you won’t be able to. Every day you ask the same. You can do it, you have the right to ask what you want. But we’re united. Gareth, James, everyone.”

Real Madrid ‘ready to rip up Gareth Bale’s contract with TWO years left’ and let wantaway winger leave on free transfer

REAL MADRID will reportedly pay off Gareth Bale for the final two years of his contract to allow him to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has failed to feature in any of the last five games, with the player once again an unused substitute in Monday’s 2-1 win against Granada.

And the Welsh international once again trolled boss Zinedine Zidane from the sidelines as he was spotted entertaining himself by using a roll of tape as pretend binoculars.
It was reported last month that the ex-Tottenham ace’s relationship with Zidane is at “breaking point” and “worse than ever”.
But despite the player repeatedly being overlooked by Zizou, his agent Jonathan Barnett has insisted he is happy in Madrid and intends to see out his contract at the Bernabeu.
According to ABC, Real want to get the winger off their wage bill with the club livid that he appears unbothered about fighting for his position.

They state that the final straw was the image of Bale catching some shut-eye during the 2-0 win against Alaves last week.
ABC now report that the club plan to sit down with Bale and Barnett at the end of the season to discuss talks about him ending his contract two years early.
It has been alleged that Zidane doesn’t want Bale to be part of his squad next season and is keen for him to leave.

Bale has featured in just 16 top-flight games this season – his fewest tally since joining the club from Spurs in 2013.

Since his arrival, he has scored a total of 105 goals in 251 games – winning the LaLiga title once, the Champions League four times as well as firing in the winner in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona in his opening campaign in Spain.
A move to China could still be an option for Bale after Real blocked his potential move to Jiangsu Suning last year.

Barcelona model new ‘Crystal Palace’ 2020-21 home kit as fans joke they’re preparing for life without Messi

BARCELONA have confirmed their home kit for 2020/21 with fans joking that the new design borrows heavily from Crystal Palace.
The famous Blaugrana stripes of the Camp Nou club are back with golden trim that the Selhurst Park faithful might feel is a bit familiar.

Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann modelled the kit from the Barcelona men’s team with Asisat Oshoala and Alexia Putellas donning it from the women’s side.
The Nike design is very similar to the kit leaked earlier in the month, with title sponsor Rakuten returning for the final season of their £51million-a-year deal with the club.
Fans reacting to the kit likened it to the Eagles’ efforts as well as the 2010/11 Barcelona shirt – perhaps as an attempt to keep Messi to the impeccable standards he has shown for the past decade.
Some detractors even remarked that the kit is a sign that the Catalans are preparing for life without their star forward.

One Twitter user joked: “Barcelona preparing for post-Messi period, looking like Spanish Crystal Palace.”
Chris pointed out: “Barcelona out here looking like Crystal Palace.”
And another fan tweeted: “When did Crystal Palace buy Barcelona?”
One unhappy Barcelona supporter wrote online: “This looks awful. Our performance & kits are declining year by year.”

    5

The club will don it’s classic blue-and-red striped shirt with blue shorts next season

    5

Antoine Griezmann helped model the kit despite rumours he could leave in the summer

    5

American manufacturer Nike are behind the design with Rakuten sponsoring for perhaps the last year

A Messi fan account commented: “Hate it. Sack Nike. Dissolve that partnership.”
While another viewer stated: “Barcelona going back to their 2010/11 kit. Perhaps they hope that’ll make Messi 10 years younger.”
Quique Setien’s side are set to miss out on a third-straight LaLiga title with Real Madrid boasting a four-point lead with two games to go.
Financial issues from the coronavirus crisis and a mammoth wage bill could force a huge summer sale at the Camp Nou, with as many as nine first-teamers reportedly leaving.

Striker Rivaldinho has dual Brazilian and Spanish citizenship and has bagged nine goals and four assists in 23 club appearances in all competitions this season.
And his performances have caught the eye of two second tier sides in Spain, according to Spanish outlet AS.
Rivaldinho has also attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia and India.
But he is said to be keen on a move to Spain where he feels he could eventually play in the top flight like his dad.

Having come through the ranks at Brazilian side Corinthians, Rivaldinho went on to play for Boavista in Portugal before spells with Dinamo Bucarest and Levski Sofia.
His superstar dad was most well known for his time at Barcelona between 1997 and 2002.
And particularly his breathtaking performances for Brazil where he scored 35 goals in 75 first team appearances.

Football fans across the world also remember him for the infamous match against Turkey in the 2002 World Cup semi-final.

The talented playmaker went down holding his face despite the fact the ball fired at him by Hakan Unsal hit him in the leg.
