      But Messi appears to have his heart set on a move to MLS.
      He recently told Spanish TV station La Sexta: “My plan is to give all I can for the club at the moment.
      “I would like to play in the United States and experience life and the league there, but ultimately come back to Barcelona in some capacity.
      “I’m not thinking too far ahead in the short-term and just want to see how the season finishes.”
      According to Madrid-based radio station Cadena Ser, Messi has already made his first move towards Miami with the purchase of a luxury apartment in the city.
      A pad worth at least £7.25million was reportedly purchased by the Argentine last year.

      The swanky Porsche Design Tower, completed in 2017, sits on the Sunny Isles beachfront in Miami.
      Branded by the German supercar manufacturer of the same name, the building boasts three car lifts allowing residents to park their vehicle on the same floor as their suite.

      Arsenal boost in free transfer race for Sergi Roberto with Barcelona yet to offer star new deal with contract expiring

      ARSENAL have been given new hope in their bid to sign Sergi Roberto from Barcelona.The 30-year-old playmaker is on Mikel Arteta’s radar over a transfer move this summer.

      And Roberto is still yet to sign a new contract with his current deal expiring in June.
      Marca report that the Catalan club were due to meet Roberto’s team just after Christmas.
      But the report added that Barcelona are prioritising other players amid their financial problems.
      Gunners target Roberto is currently on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a thigh injury.
      The versatile player has been out of action since October and is some way from being fit to return.

      REAL MADRID are planning to release SIX players including Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard, Spanish reports claim. The Spaniards are pushing to sign Kylian Mbappe, whose PSG contract expires in the summer, but the Frenchman would carry a heavy wage bill.

      Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland also remains a target for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, meaning they are set to sell some stars.
      According to Marca, Bale will be joined by left-back Marcelo and playmaker Isco is being released.
      Meanwhile Jesus Vallejo, Mariano Diaz and Dani Ceballos are also expected to leave.
      It is added that Madrid may also try to cash in on Hazard, who in the winter was linked with a return to Chelsea.
      Marco Asensio’s future will also be decided in summer but Alvaro Odriozola is due to come back from his loan spell with Fiorentina.
      Bale spent last season on loan with Tottenham, the club he left in 2013 to join Madrid.

      But with a professional contract awaiting his signature after playing an instrumental role in winning the U18 Prem title, Musah packed his bags and joined Valencia. 
      And with Saka and Smith Rowe now key players for Arsenal, the club’s track record of promoting young talent speaks for itself. 
      However, with Valencia handing a staggering 105 pro debuts to academy graduates in the last 30 years, Musah believes it was a no-brainer to leave back in 2019.

      “I’m so happy they’re now playing in the first-team at Arsenal but my decision to leave was that I felt that Valencia had a great plan for me. 
      “They provided me with so much trust as you can see and with everything they were offering it sounded like a great plan.” 
      It’s safe to say Musah’s decision has allowed him to crave his own path after becoming Valencia’s second-youngest ever scorer and already having over 50 appearances. 
      Like other young talents such as Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke who have left Prem sides for Europe, the pull of first-team football was the deciding factor for Musah.

      Yet despite moving to Spain, the youngster still had deep ties with England after starring for their youth teams from U15s to U18s. 
      But also eligible to play for Italy, the US as well as his parents’ homeland Ghana, the Three Lions had competition for his long-term future. 
      And just like he did with Arsenal, Musah wasted no time cutting ties as he jumped at the opportunity to follow Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic and Barca’s Sergino Dest in becoming a European-based US international. 
      Musah added: “I enjoyed my time with England, the coaches and the players, it was amazing but there came a time where I was playing first team at Valencia and the US coaches were talking to me a lot about the projects they had and I felt that I would play a part in it. 
      “We have a great team in the US and the project could be something big.” 
      And Valencia’s Academy General Director Sean Bai says Musah is a great example of Valencia’s philosophy of promoting talent no matter what passport they possess.
      Bai added: “I hope in the coming years we will have a few more Yunus’ amongst us.
      “He has been a very good example and successful case study for a lot of people of how a boy from a very different culture has made it here.
      “What we see in Yunus is not because he is an American, English, Italian or Ghanian player but just a player with a strong hunger to improve and motivation to succeed at the highest level.”

      According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, he is not expected to sign a renewal to stay on in the North-West.
      Instead, the report adds Cavani would prefer a switch to Spain.
      His successful career has seen him play in Uruguay, Italy, France and England.
      But a chance to prove himself in LaLiga appeals to the former Paris Saint-Germain ace.
      He is thought to be on around £250,000 per week at Old Trafford and would be wanting one final big contract – probably at Barcelona, Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

      Local media report the Juventus star got the flat in the Portuguese capital in July in the summer of 2018  but news of its purchase has only recently surfaced.
      According to PrimeTimeZone, it is the most expensive apartment ever sold in Portugal.
      The national skipper is said to have beaten off bids from two other millionaires as he splashed the cash on the 3,100 square feet flat in the Avenida de Liberdade area of the city.
      Inside includes a spa, a swimming pool, a gym, as well as three large bedrooms.
      It comes after he recently sold a mansion for £2m to his former Real Madrid team-mate Pepe, located in the Geres area of northern Portugal.
      Ronaldo had the mansion built from the ground up ten years ago during his first stint at Manchester United.
      He used the property in his homeland when he wanted to enjoy some privacy, however, the site has since become a tourist spot for football lovers.
      Ronaldo lives with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez in Manchester after the Portuguese icon made the switch from Turin back last summer.
      Before that, he resided in a stunning home in Madrid. His neighbour Elizabeth, better known as Betty, could not be more complimentary of the way he lives his life.
      She said: “A lot of silence, no parties. I’ve never seen cars pass by our private road.
      “I often see him at the wheel of a Rolls-Royce. We see him pass every day, with tinted windows. But in the garage of his house he also has sports cars, like a Lotus.
      “He has a beautiful indoor pool and a small garden. and well taken care of with colourful flowers.
      “I see Cristiano Junior often wandering with his skateboard, up and down the street that leads to our homes, always with the bodyguards behind.
