KARIM BENZEMA converted two penalties and missed another one as Real Madrid earned a nervy 2-1 win at Celta Vigo.It puts the LaLiga leaders one step closer to the title as they race 12 points above second-placed Sevilla.

Benzema scored the first from the spot after 20 minutes after Nolito tripped Eder Militao.
But Nolito equalised from close range following a counter-attack soon after halftime to peg back Real.
Benzema had two opportunities to win the game from the spot, after Jeison Murillo fouled Rodrygo and Kevin Vazquez tripped Ferland Mendy.
Goalkeeper Matias Dituro saved his first effort but five minutes later the French striker sent a precise low spot-kick just inside post.

It was not the first time Ancelotti Jr had been forced to step in, as he took charge of Napoli’s 2-1 defeat against Roma in 2019.
The 32-year-old has worked under his father since 2012, starting off as a coach at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Davide was then promoted to assistant manager at Bayern Munich before continuing the role at Napoli and Everton.
He remains No2 in Ancelotti’s second spell at Real, regularly overseeing training sessions.

THE REAL DEAL
Things got off to a flyer for Real when they took the lead after just 19 minutes.
