And despite being linked with calling time on his career and heading into retirement, Union SG are hoping to change his mind.
According to AS, the Belgian outfit are interested in taking Hazard on and getting him back out on the pitch.
The 32-year-old is said to be considering the offer which would see him face up against an old Premier League foe from his days with Chelsea.
Union SG are in the Europa League where they face Liverpool in Group E alongside LASK and Toulouse.

The spectacular offer would also see all three of the Hazard brothers play in the same city in Belgium.
Thorgan made the switch from Borussia Dortmund to Anderlecht this summer who play their football in Brussels, alongside Union SG.
Whilst Kylian is also currently playing in the Belgian capital with RWD Molenbeek who were promoted from the Belgium’s second division last season.
Eden Hazard has been the most successful of the three brothers with an incredible 126 international appearances for the Red Devils.

As well as considering retirement there has been other offers for the former Lille winger with Crystal Palace also reportedly interested.
He is said to have rejected a big money offer from the Saudi Pro League during this summer’s transfer window too.

World Cup stadium which hosted England with 44,000 fans now unrecognisable with iconic arch moved eleven miles away

A FORMER World Cup stadium has been left unrecognisable after building works saw its arch moved 11 miles away.Athletic Bilbao’s San Mames Stadium was redeveloped in 2013 and a brand new ground was erected next to the old structure.

The old arena, which was dubbed “The Cathedral”, had an iconic arch over the main stand.
It was built in two halves in 1953 and it supported a then brand new roof over the stadium.
Incredibly, it was the first arch used over a sports arena and increased the capacity of the ground to 35,000.
Spain hosted the 1982 World Cup and again the old San Mames had construction work done to it prior to the tournament, allowing for 44,172 fans to come through the turnstiles.

It was the ground used for England’s three group stage matches as the Three Lions defeated France, Czechoslovakia and Kuwait.
The likes of Bryan Robson and Trevor Francis scored in the stadium for Ron Greenwood’s side.
Athletic Bilbao eventually left the San Mames in 2013 for the adjacent stadium built next door that goes by the same name.
The stunning new version of the ground can fill 53,331 fans and features high-tech lighting and a huge screen on the outside.

It has hosted concerts, Euro 2020 matches and it will be the location for the 2025 Europa League final.
When Athletic Bilbao knocked down their old stadium they did not want to get rid of their iconic arch.
So it was therefore moved 11 miles down the road to the club’s training ground in Lezama.
It has been installed next to pitches where the first-team train and where the club’s youth and women’s teams play.

Barcelona line up Alexander Isak as long-term Robert Lewandowski replacement – and he hasn’t ruled out transfer before

BARCELONA have their eyes set on Newcastle striker Alexander Isak to replace veteran Robert Lewandowski, according to reports.Barca boss Xavi is said to be a big fan of the forward and is on the hunt to bolster his forward options.

According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, Xavi is currently planning for the club’s long-term future without former Bayern Munich superstar Lewandowski.
The 35-year-old joined the Catalonian side last summer for £38million after his record-breaking spell in the Bundesliga.
But the Spaniard is concerned the Polish striker’s career may be coming to an end and is desperate to start searching for a replacement – and is keen on signing Isak.
The report claims that Lewandowski’s time at Barcelona isn’t up just yet as the club will not be “making any serious moves for Isak until next summer.”
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
The report adds that the Magpies would be looking for the same fee they paid if they part ways with the forward.
For Xavi’s side, this will be tough as the club is still in financial trouble.
Isak, 23, made a name for himself while a Borussia Dortmund player on loan at Dutch side Willem II in 2019.
He became the first player to ever score three penalties in a Dutch second-division match.

Having left Dortmund for Real Sociedad the forward then signed for Eddie Howe’s side for a club record of £63m last summer.
He has scored 12 goals in 31 matches for the Magpies but has had to fight for a starting role against Callum Wilson.
The Swedish international’s contract does not finish until 2028 meaning it will not be an easy task for Barca to get his signature.
But the Blaugrana have been long-time fans of Isak having previously been linked with the Swedish star before his move to the Premier League.
When asked in 2021 about a potential move to Nou Camp the former Real Sociedad player told Spanish outlet El Diario Vasco he needed to remain “calm”.
He said: “You have to be calm. I am. My goal is to finish the season in the best way, there is one game left and I said that I feel good here, I’m very good.
“What happens is that nobody knows what will happen in the future. Neither you nor I. I take everything very calmly,” More

The forward subsequently opened the scoring for Barcelona, wriggling beyond goalkeeper Rui Silva before smacking the ball into the net.

The Portuguese star cleverly let the ball run through his legs for Robert Lewandowski to score Barcelona’s second.
Xavi’s reigning champions then ran riot, with Ferran Torres scoring a free-kick before further strikes by Raphinha and Joao Cancelo.
After the match, the Barca boss gushed over his new Portuguese stars Cancelo and Felix.
He said: “We are talking about two players whose individual quality is beyond doubt. You see them train and you see their greatness.
“Cancelo comes from a coach (Pep Guardiola) who for me is the best and he interprets everything very well. We have spoken to him and he has understood.
“With Joao Felix we watched a video with him yesterday. They both give variants that make the team better. Physically, they are strong.

Getafe boss forced into embarrassing U-turn over Mason Greenwood after Jude Bellingham comments

GETAFE’S manager has U-turned on his claim that Jude Bellingham advised Mason Greenwood to move to Spain.Manchester United outcast Greenwood made his Getafe loan debut on Sunday, three months after former England team-mate Bellingham joined Real Madrid.

Getafe chief Jose Bordalas says Greenwood and Bellingham both ‘clarified’ the situation to himCredit: AP
And Jose Bordalas now admits he was wrong to suggest a key role in the striker’s move was played by the new Bernabeu hero.
Greenwood received a mostly positive reception when he came on after 77 minutes at home to Osasuna.
Visiting supporters, however, appeared to jeer him.
And according to The Athletic’s Guillermo Rai, they also chanted “Greenwood die”.

But having come on at 2-2, it was Greenwood’s shot that earned a corner from which Serbia midfielder Nemanja Maksimovic hit Getafe’s winner.
And afterwards Bordalas revealed Bellingham, 20, and his old Three Lions’ colleague have both put him right over the hitman’s transfer.
The Spaniard stated: “I had said that Mason Greenwood came to Getafe because he had spoken with Jude Bellingham.
“They have clarified to me it was not the case.”

That’s a reversal of what the 59-year-old told Spanish sports station RadioMarca earlier in the week.
Speaking of his joy at the transfer, Bordalas said then: “It was a surprise, we never thought we could get a player like that.
“But they got in touch with our sporting director [Ruben Reyes], we talked, we didn’t think it could happen but both sides made an effort [financially].

“Greenwood is friends with Bellingham, and he advised him to come to the Spanish league.”
Before Sunday, the Red Devils academy product had not played since January 2022, when he started United’s 1-0 home win over West Ham.
The club suspended Greenwood after he was arrested later that year.
He was charged with a string of offences including attempted rape. However, the CPS dropped the charges in February 2023.
United’s internal investigation into Greenwood finished in August with the club concluding that he would not play for them.

The statement said: “All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United.
“It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome.” More
