Where Jude Bellingham will sit in Real Madrid’s wage bill with star set for massive pay packet after transfer

JUDE BELLINGHAM could become one of Real Madrid’s highest earners if he moves to the Bernabeu. Reports yesterday strongly claimed that the English teenager will be heading to Spain from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

He has been being chased by some of the world’s biggest clubs, including Manchester United and Manchester City.
If he does make the switch to Madrid, Bellingham could be offered eye-watering wages that will leave him as the seventh-highest paid player at the club.
Marca report that the star will pocket £12million-a-year if the move is completed.
This means the 19-year-old will make £1m-a-month, and £250,000-a-week.

This marks a huge pay bump from the reported £1.1m-a-year he currently makes at Dortmund.
It would also mean he would make more than first team stars like Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, according to wages reported by AS.
Eden Hazard is incredibly Los Blancos’ highest earner on £400,000-a-week, despite the star struggling to make any impact in his four years at the club.
Injuries and fitness issues has left the star limited to just five league appearances this season, and without a La Liga goal since the 2020-21 season.

Senior players David Alaba and Toni Kroos follow next on the highest wage list, while important stars like Luka Modric, Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois come next.
Bellingham is set to be the best paid player after these six in a signal of how highly rated he is by the club.
An “agreement in principle” is believed to be in place after Madrid spent a year planning the transfer.
Bellingham could sign a contract until 2029, but Real Madrid and Dortmund have yet to strike a deal on a transfer fee.

And in a recent press conference, she quizzed the Los Blancos boss on Vinicius Junior’s disciplinary record.
The Brazilian winger picked up his tenth yellow card of the LaLiga season – and 15th overall in 2022-23 – in the 4-2 win over Almeria on April 29.
That saw him suspended for Tuesday’s defeat at Real Sociedad.
Moran asked: “Do you think that Vinicius could use a red card as a lesson for these continuous protests to the referees?”

Ancelotti replied: “No, you don’t need a red one. With all the yellow cards that he has had, I think that is enough.”
A video clip of the exchange circulated on social media and led to vile trolls sending horrible abuse towards the reporter and her baby.
Moran took screenshots of the messages and shared them to the police.
She also tweeted: “These are some of the many comments that I am receiving for carrying out my work as a journalist.

“My daughter is 18 months old.

“EVERYTHING is reported to the national police.”
Moran has received lots of messages from her colleagues in the media and thanked them for their public show of support.
Earlier this year, Moran accused ex-Barcelona goalkeeper Cillessen of blackmail.
The Spanish journalist claimed he threatened to leak private pictures of her if she did not have an abortion and sued him for allegedly not paying their young daughter’s hospital costs.
Moran told Story: “He scared me very much. He made me have an abortion. If I didn’t, he would publish private photos and videos of me.
“He blackmailed me almost daily. I was also not allowed to talk to the media.
“I don’t care about that man’s life. I only care about my daughter, I have to make sure she has food.

But during his time at Elland Road, Raphinha had become one of the best players outside of the ‘big six’.
And it is thought that Newcastle would be interested in giving him a chance to revive his career in the Premier League.
According to Gerard Romero on the Jijantes FC Twitch channel, the Magpies have suggested they would be willing to offer Barcelona a £70m fee to wrap up a deal.
A tweet from the account read: “Barça has received a verbal proposal from Newcastle for Raphinha.

The 26-year-old has managed to score eight goals and assist seven in 40 appearances in all competitions.
And many fans think that the Magpies would be paying well over the odds to sign him.

A second wrote: “Raphinha would be a great signing but £70m seems very steep.
“A lot less risk with him over [Moussa] Diaby as he’s played Premier League previously, but Diaby 5 years younger and probably a higher ceiling at a cheaper price.”
A Barca supporter added: “For performance, he is our best winger this year, but let’s go, for 80 million I will take him on a piggyback to Newcastle if necessary.” More

Aston Villa star Alex Moreno reveals key advice Pep Guardiola gave him as Barcelona youth as he prepares to face Man Utd

It came after 17 years without top honours for Betis and Moreno owns a green bracelet that commemorates the win.
Villa’s last major win came in the 1996 League Cup final success against Leeds.
But their boss Unai Emery convinced Moreno to leave Betis for Villa in a £14million January deal with a plan to have them competing for titles again.
Moreno said: “This is the ambition and to fulfil this we have to be focused on the biggest prizes together as one club, not as individuals.
    READ MORE IN FOOTBALL
“It is an historical club. Unai explained it, what he envisions and his ambition, and what he aspires to do. That is why I was so keen to join.
“It is a club that’s been away from the highest level for a while and Unai believes we can do big things with this team.”

After a bad start to the term under ex-boss Steven Gerrard, Villa are now sixth with five games left and six points behind today’s hosts Manchester United in fourth.
Moreno’s career has taught him achieving your dreams requires patience.

He signed for Barcelona’s youth set-up aged 17, learning from Pep Guardiola and training with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi.
Moreno said: “The only words from Guardiola I remember were to listen, enjoy the moment and don’t get too carried away. Feel it, enjoy it and act normal.”
After Barca, he had to forge a career in Spain’s third and second divisions with Mallorca, Rayo Vallecano and Elche before “fighting his way” to La Liga with Betis in 2019.
Moreno said: “To Betis, I owe a lot. They trusted me and I grew there. I played at a high level, Pellegrini made me better.
“I still have a lot of friends there and keep receiving nice messages from them.”
Moreno makes connections with Villa fans through streaming videos and online gaming.
And it has helped that his fine attacking play, which has led to three assists, has become key to Emery’s winning tactics.
The Catalonia-born star is also enjoying his personal life as, just before his arrival at Villa Park, he proposed to his girlfriend at the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome.
But he is missing his two puppies who are back home in Seville and awaiting approved paperwork before they can make the trip to England.
The prospect of a European spot is keeping Villa focused, though and he added: “Five months ago the situation was very different.

“This is a result of the work that has been done together in order to change the situation.
“There is now a possibility for us to finish in Europe but it is about focusing on the next five games, which for us are five finals — and that starts on Sunday.” More
