Tommy Fury ‘should go to a desert island and just stay there for life’ if he loses to Jake Paul, claims Eddie Hearn

PROMOTER Eddie Hearn has heaped pressure on Tommy Fury, telling him he should go to a ‘desert island’ if he is beaten by Jake Paul. The pair are finally set to face off on December 18 after months of back-and-forth on social media.

And after claims from Tyson and John Fury that Tommy will come out on top, Hearn has also waded in on the situation.
He has declared unbeaten professional Tommy, 22, should ‘never’ be beaten by Paul, 24.
Speaking on the hotly anticipated clash, via talkSPORT’s Michael Benson, Hearn said: “Logic would tell you a pro that boxed for a living and was also Tyson Fury’s brother should never lose to Jake Paul…
“If Tommy loses, he should go to a desert island and just stay there for life. It would be the most embarrassing thing.”
Hearn also responded to claims that Paul didn’t deserve a shot at fighting Fury.
The promoter said: “I don’t agree with all these comments, ‘It’s not fair they’re earning all this money and you’ve got this other guy whose grinding and not getting the opportunities.’ Well he ain’t good enough and he’s not built a fanbase like Jake Paul, so tough s***.”

Meanwhile Tommy’s half-brother Tyson recently claimed he would change Tommy’s last name if he fails to beat Paul.
Tyson said: “If Tommy can’t splatter Jake Paul, I’ll retire him from boxing myself.
“He’s got ambitions of being a world champion, never mind beating some YouTube guy.
“His name’s Fury. If he can’t beat Jake Paul, I’ll have to change his name.”
Paul meanwhile challenged Fury to change his surname for a YEAR if he loses their grudge match.
And Tommy’s dads John revealed Tyson will fly to Las Vegas to train his brother in the same city that The Gypsy King knocked out Deontay Wilder earlier this month.
Outspoken Paul on the other hand has claimed he will enlist the services of viral social media star Hasbulla to help coach him. More

Jake Paul says KSI is ‘next up on the list’ of opponents after Tommy Fury fight but claims YouTube rival is ‘scared’

JAKE PAUL said KSI is ‘next up on the list’ of opponents after his fight with Tommy Fury – but claimed his YouTube rival is ‘scared’. Paul faces Fury, brother to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, on December 18 in Miami, which was exclusively revealed by SunSport.

KSI was accused of being ‘scared’ to fight Jake Paul
But the social media sensation is already thinking in the future, and called out KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji – as his last British rival.
Paul, 24, said on his YouTube channel: “I’ve taken everyone out from the UK. Deji, Joe Weller, Gib, KSI’s scared – he’s really next up on the list.
“And we see how they are in fights, all of them have cracked, all of them have lost, once they get on the big stage with me, he’s gonna crack.”
Paul first started boxing in August 2018 and beat KSI’s brother Deji in an exhibition bout.
He then won his professional debut against ‘AnEsonGib’ in 2020, one year after filming a sparring session with Weller.
KSI, 28, meanwhile, has twice boxed Paul’s older brother Logan, 26, drawing the first before winning their rematch a year later in November 2019.

He won by scrappy-split decision but has not returned to the ring yet, while Paul has since improved to 4-0 ahead of his return against Fury, 22.
Pro boxer Viddal Riley, who is 4-0 himself and competed in the youth Olympics as an amateur, helped train KSI in both fights against Logan.
But Paul believes he can beat Riley himself, as he once again took another shot at KSI.
He said: “I would beat Viddal, that’s the level that this has gotten to.
“It used to be Viddal is training KSI to come and beat me, but that guy’s scared, I believe I am better than Viddal, 110 per cent.
“People will go, ‘Haha, this kid’s crazy, oh my god’ – after I beat Tommy? Who knows, look I have nothing but respect for Viddal.
“I think he’s a dope guy, we squashed our beef, I’m not talking s***, I just personally think I’m better. He’s great, I just think I’m better.
“F*** KSI at this point, right? Might as well make that fight happen. After I beat Tommy, he’ll be the only one from the UK left.”

Jake Paul reacts to Tyson Fury helping ‘Little Timmy’ for December fight and jokes Hasbulla will be in his corner

JAKE Paul has responded to the news that Tyson Fury will help train brother Tommy for the fight between the pair at the end of the year. The Gypsy King is set to fly out to Las Vegas to help Tommy prepare for his fight against Paul after beating Deontay Wilder in Sin City earlier this month.
And writing on Instagram after seeing the news Paul bragged how other legendary professionals had tried and failed to lead his opponents to victory.
He wrote: “Love this. My previous opponents have had coaching from Floyd Mayweather (twice) & and the legendary Freddie Roach to no success.. and now Tyson will try and help lil Timmy.”
Instead of enlisting the help of a professional, Paul has claimed he will hire the services of viral social media star Hasbulla.
He said: “Official announcement: It’s confirmed that Hasbulla will be coming to my camp in a few weeks to train and corner me for this fight.”
The outspoken YouTuber then offered a poll to his fans, asking “Which coach will win?” and a picture of Fury and Hasbulla next to each other.

Russian Hasbulla has a genetic disorder that gives him childlike characteristics such as stunted growth and a high voice.
He was seen at UFC 267 at the weekend and hilariously punched the legendary Daniel Cormier.
Rivals Tommy, 22, and Paul, 24, will finally meet in Tampa on December 18 after a war of words on social media.
SunSport exclusively revealed the fight was booked in for that date last week and it’s now official.
YouTuber turned boxer Paul is unbeaten in four fights, while Fury has not lost in seven professional bouts.
But The Gypsy King is expecting an easy victory for his brother, and has threatened to change Tommy’s last name if he fails to beat Paul.

Jake Paul predicts a ‘massacre’ against Tommy Fury in December 18 grudge match and says Tyron Woodley is ‘harder’ fight

JAKE PAUL has predicted a ‘massacre’ against Tommy Fury and said Tyron Woodley is the ‘harder’ fight between the two.Paul extended his boxing record to 4-0 in August when he beat ex-UFC champion Woodley over eight rounds.

On the undercard, his sparring partner Anthony Taylor was outpointed over four rounds by Fury, the little brother to heavyweight champion Tyson.
It set up the celebrity fighting rivals for a December 18 grudge match in Miami, which was exclusively revealed by SunSport.
Paul, 24, believes Fury, 22, is an easier fight than Woodley, 39, as he took confidence from the 2019 Love Island star’s performance against Taylor, 32.
He said on his YouTube channel: “His whole family is underestimating my ability and how good I am as a boxer.
“Tommy Fury couldn’t do anything to harm my sparring partner Anthony Taylor. All love to Anthony Taylor, but height difference, weight difference.
“He didn’t do a single thing to Anthony and there were points where Anthony was in control, winning, landing harder punches.
“So, look what I’m going to do to this guy. It’s going to be a massacre, a Boston Tea Party 2.0. I’m taking this motherf***er and throwing him overboard.”

Paul beat online rival ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, both 37, before his win over Woodley.
Fury is 7-0 but has never boxed past four rounds and Paul reckons his opponent is ‘going to crack’ under pressure.
He said: “Tommy, he’s a great boxer, he’s undefeated, he’s got fast hands, he’s quick, he comes from a legendary bloodline, so long and so forth.
“I just think that boy will crack under pressure. And I’ve taken out everyone from the UK. Deji, Joe Weller, Gib, KSI’s scared, he’s really next up on the list.
“And we see how they are in fights, all of them have cracked, all of them have lost. Once they get on the big stage against me, he’s (Fury) going to crack.
“To answer it, I think Tommy is an easier fight than Tyron for sure. And I think I knock him out, for sure.
“And I know I said that about Tyron, but that’s really the only time I’ve been wrong.
“Tyron, he came ready to fight that night and he’s been hit by some big guys. Tommy’s never even been past four rounds. We’ll see what happens.”

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight rules revealed with boxers set to fight at catchweight over eight rounds

JAKE PAUL and Tommy Fury will fight in a 192lb catchweight bout over eight rounds. The celebrity boxing rivals have finally confirmed their anticipated December 18 headliner in Miami, which was exclusively revealed by SunSport.

Tommy Fury’s fight with Jake Paul will be over eight rounds
Paul, 24, has fought at 190lb throughout his four-fight career, 10lb shy of the cruiserweight limit.
Fury, 22, debuted in the 175lb light-heavyweight division but has boxed up in weight recently.
Against Jordan Grant in June, the 2019 Love Island star weighed in 190lb but dropped 10lb for his last win, against Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor.
Right after beating MMA fighter Taylor, 32, Paul scored the biggest victory of his career against ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, over eight rounds.
The YouTuber will fight over the same distance against Fury, who has never been past the four round distance.
Paul said: “Fight a real boxer they’ve said, and that is exactly what I’m doing. An undefeated boxer from the legendary Fury bloodline.
“However, this one is more than just boxing for me. It’s for America and showing the world there is no other country that gives you the opportunity to achieve whatever you set your mind to.

“It’s for every young person who has a dream and dedicates their life to achieving it.
“On December 18th I’m continuing to fulfill my dreams and turning a Fury into a Fumbles.”
Fury said: “Jake Paul is about to learn a serious life lesson. This is my world, and he doesn’t belong here.
“I’m not one of these MMA men or basketball players, I have been boxing my whole life. On December 18th I will show the world the difference between a YouTuber and a real fighting man.
“Thanks to my promoter Frank Warren, Most Valuable Promotions and Showtime for giving me the opportunity to shut this clown up once and for all.”

Jake Paul confirmed the fight on Friday night
SunSport exclusively revealed the fight was booked in for that date last week and it’s now official.
Paul, 24, couldn’t resist a shot at ex-Love Island star Fury, 22, when announcing the fight on Friday night.
He wrote on Instagram: “It’s finally official. Timothy had no choice but to sign the contract so he could finally pay his bar tabs, afford a shirt for the club, and stop living off Molly.
“December 18 in Tampa Bay I’m changing this w***er’s name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady.
“Pucker up Timmy… it’s time to kiss your last name and your family’s boxing legacy goodbye.”
Paul turned pro in January 2020 beating online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ in one round and 11 months later knocked out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37.

He then beat retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37, in the first round in April before his biggest win, against Woodley.
Fury is 7-0 and debuted in 2018 to much fanfare due to the popularity of his unbeaten older brother, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson.
But a year later he shot to mainstream fame after finishing runner-up in hit reality TV show Love Island with his now-girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
The light-heavyweight has so far faced mainly journeyman opposition, a regularity for most boxers in their early days of the trade.
But he signed a two-fight contract with US network Showtime this year and made his Stateside debut against MMA fighter Taylor.
The second part of the deal will now see him fight Paul following months of trash talk and viral goading.

Nate Diaz to ‘QUIT UFC’ for £10m Jake Paul fight and then onto Conor McGregor trilogy in boxing ring, claims ex-MMA star

NATE DIAZ will leave the UFC after his contract expires to fight Jake Paul for up to £10million, his former opponent predicted. Diaz has just one bout left on his current UFC contract and recently hinted at facing Tony Ferguson.

So far, he is yet to extend his deal and Josh Thompson believes the American is eyeing a lucrative boxing switch to fight Paul over a trilogy with Conor McGregor.
Thompson, 43, said on his Weighing In podcast: “He’s leaving the UFC, he’s fighting Jake Paul. Just stop, OK.
“This is his last fight, he’s not fighting in the UFC anymore. He’s going to leave and he’s going to fight Jake Paul.
“He’s just trying to get a fight to get out the door, he’s done with MMA. He knows that fight is going to make him double then he’d make [against McGregor].
“Conor’s not that draw anymore that he once was. Conor can’t get out of his contract, he’s on an eight or ten fight deal I believe.
“So he’s stuck with the UFC forever. Speaking from a Nate point of view, I think Nate’s going to leave and end up fighting Jake Paul in boxing.”

Diaz, 37, beat McGregor, 33, in March 2016 but lost the rematch in a modern classic just five months later.
The trilogy decider is yet to materialise despite the pair regularly goading each other online.
But Thompson, the only man to ever KO Diaz in the UFC, believes the rubber match could take place in the boxing ring.
And he claimed his old rival could end up making over TRIPLE the money to fight YouTuber-turned 4-0 boxer Paul opposed to McGregor.
Thompson said: “I know he can make any more from between $10 to $15million (£10m) to do that one fight versus him having to fight Conor and make $2million, maybe $4million (£2.9m).
“Why? When he can fight one time in boxing against somebody who he’s got a lot more experience against and against somebody his brother knows.
“If Nate goes and beats Jake Paul, then I can see Dana saying, ‘OK, let’s fight Nate in boxing’. I couldn’t see him doing it before, he has to beat Jake Paul first.
“If he beats Jake Paul I can see him riding Conor in to be like, ‘Nate and [Conor] in boxing makes sense’.
“It’s a trilogy fight but not a trilogy fight because it’s in boxing not in MMA.”

The YouTuber is 4-0 ever since trying out his luck in the ring but is now set to battle a professional boxer for the first time ever and has thus boosted his preparations.
According to the Daily Mirror, the 24-year-old drafted Cunningham, who famously knocked Tommy’s brother Tyson down in the latter’s US debut in 2013.
The Gypsy King, though, got back up to his feet – just like he did against Deontay Wilder – and earned a knockout victory.
The undefeated heavyweight recently sang the American’s praises and even admitted that he was outboxed that night.
Fury previously said: “I fought Steve Cunningham, he was a very good cruiserweight world champion, 215lbs, 6ft 3in, chiselled.
“He gave me one of my hardest fights I’ve ever had, but what happened in the end of that fight? It was brutal.

“And I didn’t do it by outboxing him because I was getting outboxed. I had to go to the well to get the job done.
“Knock him spark out, only time he’s ever been knocked out. Not too shabby.”
Paul and Fury both fought as recently as August 28 on the same card, with the former beating ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley over eight rounds.
Earlier in the night, the British star did the same against the American’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor on points in a four-rounder.
