Tommy Fury could fight Jake Paul with ‘broken ribs and left hand’ and STILL beat YouTuber, says brother Tyson

TYSON FURY said his brother Tommy could fight Jake Paul with broken ribs and a busted left hand… and STILL win. WBC champion Fury is coaching and set to corner Tommy for the December 18 clash in Florida.

The pair were joined by their dad John and Paul for a virtual press conference to promote the fight.
Afterwards, Fury rubbished claims the YouTuber will be Tommy’s hardest opponent.
He told Queensberry Promotions: “Tommy could have his worst night ever and still beat Jake Paul.
“He could probably turn up with broken ribs, a broken left hand, two left feet, his clothes on back to front and a flue and he would still beat him.
“That is how confident I am that he can beat Jake Paul.”
Tommy signed a two-bout deal with US network Showtime and in August fought and beat Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

It went the full four rounds and was comfortable enough for the Brit, 22, but the performance lacked any real conviction.
Paul, 24, later on in the night beat ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, and set up a celebrity grudge match with Fury.
The social media star has continued to mock his rival’s performance, but heavyweight Fury claimed it was all part of the masterplan.
He said: “Tommy looked terrible on purpose so he could get this fight, that is what clever people do.
In Paul’s first three fights, he beat YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.
But his win last time out against Woodley was his biggest to date, while Fury improved to 7-0 by beating Taylor, 32.

It followed after months of online goading, which continued at their press conference to promote the fight.
But Fury brushed aside Paul’s viral trolling and vowed to prove he is the true boxer between the pair.
Fury said: “Talking doesn’t win fights. I’m not engaged in all this because I don’t care. I’m not using Instagram because I don’t care.
“When he jumps through the ropes he will realise that I’m not a YouTuber.”
His brother, heavyweight champion Tyson, 33, added: “Poor old Jake Paul will get severely knocked out.”
Paul, 24, responded: “He doesn’t have a chin. He’s never been hit hard by anybody. He has fought nobody. He couldn’t crack an egg.”

On the undercard, Fury, 22, beat Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32, to move to 7-0 and set up the mega-fight.
The 2019 Love Island star claimed afterwards he gate crashed Paul’s afterparty but was told to leave, as he predicted a KO in round one next month.
Fury added: “After our last fights on the same card, I rocked up with four people to his after-party.
“I saw him and what did he do? He didn’t [do anything]. He sent a security man over to say: ‘Please leave’.
“When he gets in the ring with me, he will find his level. He’ll be out in the first round.”

Jake Paul traded insults with the Fury family

YouTuber Paul reckons the fighting family have grossly underestimated him and Tyson can do nothing to help his little sibling.
Fury had praised Paul for promoting his way into professional boxing but he backtracked on that to slam the celeb.
Fury, 33, said: “It’s good, it’s entertainment, it’s two young fellas putting it all on the line and someone’s O has to go.
“Poor old Jake Paul is going to get severely knocked out.
“Jake hasn’t done anything, a few months ago I thought he was good but now I think he’s a w*****.”

Paul, speaking from a Puerto Rico swimming pool with a sombrero and sunglasses, roared back: “Tommy, you’re sparring bums.
“We started camp two months before these so-called professionals.
“They are underestimating me to the highest degrees, they cannot teach him what he needs.
“Tyson is trying to coach him but he cannot teach him what a champion needs.”

Leading figure big John Fury came up with a new nickname for the Instagram ace, yelling: “You are with the big dogs now so be careful of getting bitten.
“You are Catweasel, I can see the fear in your eyes, take your sunglasses off so I can see the fear, there is now fear here.”
After listening to Paul insult him , Tyson laughed: “I have been brought in to be abused – f****** hell.
“I am here getting abused by some p***y. I will take my backhand to him, his brother and his p***y trainer BJ Flores.”

John Fury blasts ‘jealous’ pundits picking Jake Paul to beat son Tommy, who is making ‘more money than they’ll ever see’

JOHN FURY blasted ‘jealous’ pundits picking Jake Paul to beat his son Tommy, who is making ‘more money than they’ll ever see’. Tommy fights the YouTube star on December 18 in Florida over eight rounds in a 192lb catchweight bout.

He is the more experienced at 7-0, compared to Paul, who has won all four fights but faces his first opponent with prior boxing experience.
Nevertheless, he does have three knockouts on his record, enters his third pay-per-view main-event and has gone eight rounds before.
Whereas Fury has not gone further than four, and the likes of Carl Frampton and ex-UFC champion Michael Bisping predicted the 2019 Love Island star will lose.
But his furious dad John hit back, as he told Boxing Social: “Jealousy, word one.
“They’re ripped in jealousy because he’s probably making more money than they’ll ever see.
“And they’ve been punched from pillar to post for probably a quarter of the money. And that’s their character, that’s their mindset, they’re jealous people.”

Due to a prior criminal conviction, John is unable to travel to America to corner his son, with brother Tyson and his coach Sugarhill Steward taking charge.
But the proud dad has been in camp with Tommy and his eldest Tommy in their Morecambe training base.
And John promised Paul poses no threat to them, due to the high level sparring they have been doing, as he once again slammed ‘haters’.
He said: “People like to see you do well, but not as well as them.
“But I’m telling you now, however they feel, they feel bad enough today, but come the 19th of December, they’re going to feel a lot worse.

“Because they are praying for Jake Paul to do something what is impossible. This is impossible, I’m saying impossible for Jake Paul to even give him a fight.
“We’re sparring top class kids here, touted to be world champions. Olympic bronze medallists in Tokyo, ten and 15-0 guys.
“The best we’ve got, the best light-heavyweights, the best cruiserweights, and the best heavyweights, this man has been dealing with them.
“So what the hell in cat and hell’s chance does Jake Paul stand in beating Tommy? But, you know, jealousy, keep it coming.
“The Furys thrive off hate. We’re the most trolled and hated people on earth, but you know what? We’re on top of the world.
“So, all them haters, keep hating, you’re making us very rich in doing so.”

Watch John Fury square up to TV as Tommy’s dad says Jake Paul can ‘thank his lucky stars’ he is banned from America

Together, they held a press conference to promote the fight and were joined virtually by their YouTube star rival.
But it did not stop John from trading words and insults with Paul through a TV screen, as he eventually squared up to the monitor with his fists clenched.
At one point, Paul told John: “You’re mad because you can’t come to the United States.”
Due to a prior criminal conviction, John is unable to travel to America, which has prevented him from cornering Tommy, 22, and Tyson, 33, before.
Paul, 24, added: “You’re a single old man.”
But John, 57, hit back: “I’ll tell you what, you wouldn’t like to meet the old man. You can thank your lucky stars I’m banned from your country.
“Because I’d get you and slap you.”

The talking point from the chaotic press conference came after John made an outrageously crude remark to Paul and his girlfriend Julia Rose.
He said: “When Tommy knocks you out, he’s gonna bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog.”
Tommy, who is in a relationship with Love Island co-star Molly Mae-Hague, 22, was left head in hands after the comment.
In Paul’s first three fights, Paul beat YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.
But in August, he improved to 4-0 with a win over eight rounds against ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39.
On the undercard, Fury beat Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32, to move to 7-0 and set up the mega-fight.

They fight over eight rounds at a 192lb catchweight on December 18 in Florida, which will be pay-per-view in the US and UK.
And with their combined fanbases sure to tune in, Tommy’s dad and coach John predicted it makes for a blockbuster cheque.
He told entrepreneur Rob Moore: “Listen, Tommy’s getting paid more money for this than some world champions.
“He’s getting paid in the millions, so if we get millions for getting wet we’re gonna do it, because it’s good business.”
Tommy, 22, comes into the fight 7-0 and more experienced than YouTube star Paul, 24, who is facing his first opponent of prior professional boxing experience.

But he beat ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, in his last fight, with Paul winning against his sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32, on the undercard.
It set the grudge match up, but John admitted the rivalry could continue as they eye big brother Logan, 26, afterwards.
He said: “If he’s on his game, Tommy, and he’s firing on all four cylinders.
“Easy night’s work, easy money and the winner goes on to bigger and better things.
“We’ll get the brother out the game as well, then we’ll start looking at conventional titles for him.

“A brother is gonna wanna redeem another brother isn’t he. When he knocks Jake Paul out, the brother’s gonna wanna take his part ain’t he.
“But I don’t think so because the hiding Tommy’s gonna give Jake Paul, the other brother won’t be interested either.”
Logan is the most inexperienced of the trio, having only three times boxed before.

Firstly, he drew with online rival KSI, 28, in a 2018 white collar bout but won the rematch a year later by split-decision when they turned pro.
But in June he returned for a sensational exhibition with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, which went the distance.
After technically avoiding defeat to Mayweather, Logan is now in rumoured talks with heavyweight icon Mike Tyson, 55, who made his return last November.
