      De Bruyne, 32, hobbled off the pitch at Turf Moor in the Premier League opener and has since undergone surgery.
      The Belgian midfielder flew to Antwerp for the procedure and has now given an update to fans.
      Taking to Instagram, De Bruyne posted two pictures of himself while on crutches with bandaging on his leg.
      He wrote: “The news after the Burnley game was a really big blow for me physically and mentally.

      “Now the surgery is done, I’m ready to heal my body and get back to work soon.

      And De Bruyne received plenty of support from his fellow footballing stars.

      Tonali, 23, found himself at The Job Bulman pub in Newcastle following the club’s Premier League opening win over Aston Villa.
      The midfielder’s name was spotted by a fan on a reserved sign before he was then pictured with a supporter at the venue.
      The strange choice of venue for the former AC Milan star had fans convinced his team-mates had pulled a prank on him.
      This then led fans to speculate who the mischievous team member was, with club star Bruno Guimaraes being asked who it was, although he did not crack under pressure.

      The intrigue has now led to manager Howe to be asked about the prank, to which he insisted there was no problem with his newest star being in the pub.
      However, he revealed that Scottish midfielder Ritchie is being blamed for the joke.

      Fradegrada is Boateng’s third wife with the two dating for just a year before tying the knot in June 2022.
      Fans of Boateng were shocked to find out about the split after the former Ghana-international deleted all pictures with Fradegrada from his Instagram.
