Jake Paul ready to ‘snub Tommy Fury rematch to face Floyd Mayweather as part of three-fight plan including KSI’

JAKE PAUL is said to be leaning towards a fight with Floyd Mayweather next instead of rematching Tommy Fury. The YouTuber-turned boxer was beaten for the first time in seven professional bouts when he lost a split-decision to Fury.

Paul has maintained he would exercise his rematch clause with early indications it would be eyed for July.
But just weeks after his loss, the American was involved in a street altercation with Mayweather outside a Miami Heat game.
Paul later called out the boxing legend to settle the score in the ring in a sanctioned bout and not an exhibition.
Now YouTube reporter Keemstar has claimed sources say Mayweather is the top of his wishlist to fight next.

A rematch with Fury and grudge match against KSI then follow in that order as a part of a three-bout plan.
Paul’s feud with Mayweather dates back to the summer of 2021 when he stole the 50-0 icon’s hat at a press conference, sparking a mass brawl.
A month later, brother Logan, 27, would go the eight-round distance in his exhibition with Mayweather.
The five-weight world champion officially retired in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34.

But he has continued to box in exhibition bouts ever since, recently completing his sixth one.
But Paul, 26, has no interest in facing Mayweather, 46, unless it is in a professional capacity with their records on the line.
He tweeted: “Floyd will not see me 1 on 1 in a real fight. That’s a fact. His team has hit my team numerous times to do one of his “exhibitions”.
“Now he ambushes me. Come see me in the ring, real fight, no exhibition robbing fans bulls***.”
Keemstar’s report comes after Paul cryptically tweeted: “Options.”
Fury, 23, is open to a rematch with his celebrity boxing rival, having edged out on points in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Paul was in line to finally face KSI at the end of the year but those plans took a hit following his defeat.
KSI, 29, is set to return himself on May 13 with in London against millionaire businessman-turned 9-0 boxer Joe Fournier, 40.

The Gypsy King shared a clip of his evening to Instagram.

And a third joked: “There ain’t a man alive picking a fight with that table 😂”
Fury is named after Mike Tyson and the two have a good relationship.
The Gypsy King shared a snap of them FaceTiming last year, and even called Iron Mike “uncle”.
They dined together in Saudi Arabia last month, with Tyson even waving a sword around after their meal.
Fury has finally started training for his historic heavyweight unification bout with Usyk.
The date is set for April 29 at Wembley Stadium, with the Ukrainian having agreed to a slim 70-30 split of the purse in Fury’s favourite.
Usyk made clear that this would be dependent on the Gypsy King donating £1million to the people of war-torn Ukraine.
While jogging alongside the sea, Fury said: “Today is the first day of my training for the Usyk fight.
“I don’t need six months or four months, I just have six weeks and a week’s rest, done, happy days.
“I am going to impose my will on this little, sneaky mother f***er.”

Fury also tried to make it a fight for national pride against the Ukrainian, who bravely fought on the front line against Russia.

‘Everyone sees through it’ – Jake Paul hits out after John Fury deletes videos demanding winner-take-all bet be honoured

JAKE PAUL has hit out after John Fury deleted videos demanding a winner-take-all bet be honoured. The drama started just days before John’s son Tommy was due to fight Paul in Saudi Arabia.
Jake Paul hit out after John Fury deleted videos demanding a winner-take-all bet be honoured
John Fury addressed the wager in a now-deleted video
A double-or-nothing bet was proposed and a contract was even drafted up to make the wager official.
But Paul, 26, later said Tommy, 23, refused to put pen to paper on the bet for the fight the American later lost via split-decision.
Tommy and his dad John both spoke out to ask the YouTuber-turned boxer to honour the deal, believing they had a handshake agreement.
But John was forced to delete social media videos after Paul and his manager pointed out that they refused to officially sign on the bet.

Speaking on his brother Logan’s podcast, Paul said: “Everyone sees through it and is calling them out on it, so much so that John Fury deleted the tweets.”
Footage on the night also showed John being confronted over the bet – with Tommy’s dad refusing to acknowledge it.
Logan said: “John Fury was watching you [Jake] getting your hands wrapped and Brandon [cameraman] was f***ing antagonising him and he goes ‘Hey, about that contract, about the purse, why didn’t you guys sign it? Why didn’t you guys return it?
“And John Fury just cowers into a little ball and goes, ‘Let’s talk about boxing, mate. We’ll focus on boxing now.’

“And I’m just in the background like stunned because I’ve just seen this dude, in real time, show his hand. They weren’t willing to actually sign the contract.
“And then, after the fight when they won, now they’re talking about being gypsies, how they can’t read and write, and expect you to pay up on something that they 1000 per cent wouldn’t have if you had won the fight.”
John claimed that a handshake between his son, himself and Paul was enough to have the bet honoured after the fight.
He said: “Jake Paul, moment of truth, again I say it.
“You lost the fight, we had a deal in front of millions of people worldwide, I expect you to honour that deal. You owe us some money.
“Don’t come back to us with contracts and all that bullc***. I’m a gypsy, I can’t read and write properly and I don’t understand that.
“We were over to do a job, we did it and I’m sure you’ll be a great guy and honour what you’ve done.”

“I’m considering everybody. I talked to Eddie Hearn about Anthony Joshua, I don’t know what’s going to happen.
“The most that we have spoken with is Deontay Wilder’s team. We’ve been having some exchanges, basically coming to some sort of verbal agreement.”

Ngannou said: “For three years I tried to fight Jon Jones. I did everything to have that fight. I wanted that fight, but not at any cost.
“There is not a fight on Earth I would back down for. I would go there and whatever happens, happens. It’s the sport.
“Jon Jones is not the guy. He might be the best fighter ever, but he’s not the guy I’m running away from. Nah. Not him.

Like Anthony Joshua – who lost his titles after back-to-back losses to Usyk – Fury will struggle to find sparring partners to match-up to and imitate the 6ft 3in southpaw.
He has flown in his New Zealand pal Joseph Parker – who will have to ditch his usual orthodox stance if he is to be any use.
And he has former Marine and expert sports chef George Lockhart living with him preparing meals to fuel him.
On the steps of his Lancashire mansion, Fury added: “I have flown my good buddy and brother Joseph Parker in for sparring, we will do 10-12 rounds today.
“George Lockhart has already been here a couple of days so we are ready to rock and roll.

TYSON FURY has launched an X-rated rant at Oleksandr Usyk as the pair appear to be closing in on a date for their heavyweight clash. The wheels started moving yesterday as Fury sparked a war of words between the pair and demanded 70 per cent of any fight purse.

The Gypsy King even told his opponent that the clock is ticking and he would slash at the 30 per cent fee until Usyk agreed.
But Usyk hit back and said he would accept Fury’s terms – but only on the condition that Fury donates to Ukraine’s war effort.
Fury has now had another pop at his rival as he urged Usyk to put pen to paper with a provocative rant.
The 34-year-old said on Instagram: “Usyk, you little s***bag. Sign the contract, get your money and get f***ed up.

But when he faced a recognised boxer for the first time in Tommy Fury, he was beaten.
Fury edged out a split-decision in Saudi Arabia and esteemed British coach Shane McGuigan claimed Paul’s shortcomings were laid bare.

Paul had beaten ex-MMA champions in Ben Askren, 38, Tyron Woodley, 40, and Anderson Silva, 47.
But he was bettered over eight rounds against unbeaten Fury, 23, when they finally put bragging rights and reputations on the line.
McGuigan admitted Paul, 26, deserves respect for going the distance despite his brash callouts in the past.
He said: “Yeah but it’s not what he’s about is it? He’s been calling out people like Canelo and stuff.

Anthony Joshua ‘took his eye off the ball’ and ‘wasn’t fully dedicated’ to boxing due to sponsorships, Carl Froch says

CARL FROCH claimed Anthony Joshua “took his eye off the ball” and “wasn’t fully dedicated” to boxing due to focussing on sponsorships. The heavyweight superstar is fighting to revive his career following consecutive losses to pound-for-pound star Oleksandr Usyk.

AJ returns on April 1 at the O2 Arena against Jermaine Franklin, 29, and has relocated to Dallas in preparation under new trainer Derrick James.
Joshua, 33, was formerly coached in Sheffield by Rob McCracken, who was Froch’s long-time cornerman.
And the former super-middleweight champion believes AJ may have become too distracted, leading to his recent downfall.
Froch, 45, told BonusCodeBets: “Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t been around the camps, but looking at his performance and listening to him beforehand – it must be hard, he’s made a lot of money, a lot of commercial pressures, a lot of sponsorship outside, he’s doing adverts for Under Armour, Lucozade, Beats, Hugo Boss.

“These blue chip companies are behind him and brings massive pressure.
“I just think he took his eye off the ball, off the boxing game. He wasn’t fully dedicated to his sport.
“He’s got to get up and do the runs. Marvin Hagler said it’s hard to get out of bed when you’re wearing silk pyjamas.”

He said: “If AJ can go back to that fighter who climbed off the canvas against Wladimir Klitschko and then sent him into orbit with that uppercut, if he can rediscover his finisher’s instinct, and go back to using his size and combinations, he can still be a threat to anyone at heavyweight.
“If he can set his mind right and banish the ghosts of Ruiz and Usyk, he has a chance to get back to the top of the mountain – but it’s a big ask.
“He’s been a great ambassador for British boxing, only time will tell what he has left.”
