Eddie Hearn slams Tyson Fury for ‘swanning around Vegas suite in terrible Versace shirts calling everyone a dosser’

EDDIE HEARN has blasted Tyson Fury for ‘swanning around’ in his Las Vegas hotel as talks over his heavyweight title unification fight with Anthony Joshua rumble on.The WBC heavyweight champion jetted out to Sin City earlier this month to train with cutman Jorge Capetillo.

Eddie Hearn has been irked by The Gypsy King during his bid to finalise a mega-fight with Anthony JoshuaCredit: Mark Robinson Matchroom Boxing
But the Gypsy King’s attention appears to have turned to living his best life and calling out athletes from different sports.
That has somewhat annoyed Hearn, who told talkSPORT: “Tyson Fury’s getting right up my nostrils as well.
“He’s a great fighter and he’s a great talker as well.
“I just think when I look at those two together – you’ve got one guy working behind closed doors in Finchley with a dream to become undisputed champion.
“And then you’ve got another bloke who’s swanning around in a suite at the encore in Las Vegas, wearing terrible Versace shirts, screaming on social media all day calling everyone a dosser.”
As frustrated as Hearn is with Fury’s actions, the promoter doesn’t have any reservations over his eagerness to throw down with AJ.
CASINO SIGN UP OFFER: CLAIM UP TO £800 IN CASINO BONUS CASH

He added: “To be fair, I was with Tyson about ten days ago in Vegas.
“He wants the fight, we all want the fight.
“I think everyone’s just getting a bit frustrated that it’s taking probably two or three weeks longer than we expected.
“We are dealing with the same people who delivered the Andy Ruiz fight for us in the Middle East.
“We’ve dealt with them before, they’ve paid the money before, they’re solid people, they’re just professional, they like things to be done properly.

“Bob Arum has not dealt with a site deal the size of this before, leave it to me, hold tight, we’ll get it done.”
Matchroom boxing chief Hearn, who officially took the reigns from dad Barry earlier this month, is hoping to officially announce Joshua vs Fury next week.
He said: “I think if we’re not done by the end of next week then we do have a problem.
“I believe you’ll get an announcement next week, I do.
“This morning we received another draft back from the site for the final form. This is a major, major commercial deal.
“We’re talking about major legal companies that are across these drafts, it goes back, then it has to go to about three or four different parties from Tyson Fury’s side, then it goes to our side, AJ’s side, then it goes to the site agreement, the government.

“It’s not something that’s turned around in a few days. We’re right across it, we can’t do any more.
“I’m a one-man army going out to make this fight.
“Like I said, no help from them, all they do is criticise, sitting in his gaff in Beverley Hills, Bob Arum, moaning.
“Get off your backside and do something about it yourself. No, I’ll tell you what, leave it to Eddie.
“Alright, well if you’re gonna leave it to me, be quiet and wait for the contract to come in. It’s on.
“Everybody’s agreed that this fight is happening and I cannot wait because Tyson Fury is going to get knocked out by Anthony Joshua.”

Canadian Adonis Stevenson was the last high-profile boxer to suffer a serious injury, with the former WBC light-heavyweight champion having to undergo emergency brain surgery after his 11th-round TKO loss to Oleksandr Gvozdyk in December 2018.
And the risks of the beautiful but violent sport are at the forefront of Canelo’s mind each time he makes the walk to the ring.
In a frank interview with Graham Bensinger, the Mexican said: “I know the risks in boxing.
“I get up in the ring and maybe I won’t be coming down.
“Maybe I’ll come down dead. But I know that. And I always say goodbye to my family.
“I tell them, ‘Don’t worry, don’t cry. If I die, I’ll die doing what I love most.'”

Pound-for-pound king Canelo and his family went through a horrendous ordeal ahead of his December 2018 showdown with Rocky Fielding when one of his brothers was kidnapped.
And the Mexican had to negotiate his sibling’s release from his captors.
He recalled: “Over the phone, I negotiated all the – I negotiated everything for his release.
“For three days, I negotiated with those a**holes so they would let him go. Three days.
“After I negotiated, I was still thinking, imagine if this had been my daughter, my mother, my father. For me it would’ve been more difficult.

“But nothing is easy in this life, everything is difficult.”
Canelo is currently gearing up for a super-middleweight title unification bout with WBO belt holder Billy Joe Saunders.

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight deal is ‘on verge’ of completion, says Hearn as he blasts Bob Arum for casting doubt

EDDIE HEARN has insisted he will finalise Anthony Joshua’s fight with Tyson Fury despite Bob Arum’s pessimism. The Gypsy King’s US promoter cast doubt on the deal earlier this week when accusing Hearn of being ‘late’ to tie it up.

However, the Matchroom boss has hit back to claim he is ‘the only one’ working on the mega unification battle.
He told talkSPORT: “I’m a bit worried about Bob Arum.
“I last communicated with Bob Arum on Thursday and Friday of last week and he gave an interview last night to say he hasn’t heard from me for two weeks.
“Five days ago he was telling everyone, ‘It’s done, it’s in Saudi Arabia, this is the deal, etc’.
“It’s definitely taking a little bit longer than we anticipated, both guys have accepted the deal that’s come in from the Middle East, we’re papering that deal.
“It’s not as easy as just a 24-hour turnaround of a long-form agreement for a fight of this magnitude.
“Bob Arum said, ‘Eddie Hearn, he’s run out of time’. We’re supposed to be partners on this fight.
“The only one I see doing any work on this fight at all is me. And I won’t stop until we’ve got the fight made.

“So we’re on the verge. We have an agreement, we have a signed contract, we have a site agreement that’s been accepted and now we put it in a long-form agreement and you get an announcement next week.”
Saudi Arabia has been tipped to host the summer showdown and bag both fighters over £50million.
But Fury’s camp has alluded to the trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder that the Brit was reportedly obliged to last year.
Arum, 89, told BoxingScene: “Maybe we’ll breathe some life into Wilder, and Fury will fight Wilder and Joshua will fight [Oleksandr] Usyk.
“Eddie Hearn is busy trying to sell the London Bridge. Let me tell you – last time I talked to Eddie was early last week and he said he was going to have a signed agreement from the Saudis in 24 hours.
“Well, he’s a little late. Wouldn’t you be pessimistic if you haven’t heard from him or anybody for a week? We’re the promoter with Frank [Warren] of Fury and we haven’t heard from Eddie in a week.”

Hearn, 41, admitted his surprise at the remarks and vowed to do what it takes to get Joshua and Fury in the ring together.
He continued: “I don’t know whether Bob’s on the wind-up, trying to put the pressure on.
“He’s 90 years old, so you’ve gotta respect him. I messaged him last night with the quote that I saw as if to say, ‘What is this all about?’.
“He sort of goes, ‘Well, you know, gotta move quicker.’ I said, ‘No, I’m moving as fast as I can’.
I’m the only one that’s been out traipsing around the world to make sure we get this fight happening.Eddie Hearn

“But it’s all been left to me basically. The whole thing. Everyone’s just sitting there saying, ‘Eddie’s gotta hurry up, Eddie’s gotta do this’.
“We’re supposed to be co-promoters in this fight. I’m the only one that’s been out traipsing around the world to make sure we get this fight happening.

But the WBC king has revealed he’s open to a crossover bout with Ngannou and a wrestling match with former WWE champ McIntyre.
He said on Instagram: “This is a message to Francis Ngannou and the UFC guys: Look, if you want some of this Gypsy King money, you know where to come find it.
“You want some of this Gypsy King power, I’ll give it ya.
“Any time, any place, anywhere. Seven days a week and twice on a Sunday you big ugly dosser.”
Fury, 32, then took aim at McIntyre, who recently claimed the former unified heavyweight champion has been ‘stalking’ him on social media.

“A big useless dosser, not a real fighting man, hype job, bodybuild, CrossFit, big, ugly s***house.
“And that’s Anthony Joshua. AJ, if you’re out there let’s make this fight happen you big dosser, you big s***house, bum dosser.

He added: “Just been thinking, another message for AJ: AJ, if you go past three rounds with me, I’ll quit in the corner.
“Because that’s how confident I am of taking you cold out in the first two, three rounds. Out, like a light switch.”
Fury and Joshua’s long-awaited Battle of Britain is on course to take place in Saudi Arabia in late July or early August.

But his co-promoter, Bob Arum, has cast serious doubt over the blockbuster fight taking place this year.
He told Ring Magazine: “If I had to bet whether the Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua fight would happen or not, I would say no.
“As far as I can see this whole thing with Eddie and (a Fury vs AJ fight in Saudi Arabia) is just a mirage.”
He added: “Eddie is desperate, he has one more fight with AJ, and he wants it to be the fight against Fury.
“But if a fight against Tyson is delayed, to the winter, then AJ has to fight Oleksandr Usyk, and that’s not that big a fight. Eddie is a desperado here.”

It has taken nearly two years for the pair to finally meet inside the ring, with the duo to meet at Manchester Arena on Saturday.
And the heavyweight’s were in a joyous mood as they sat down for a friendly meal together, where they ordered poached eggs and avocado on toast.
Chisora posted footage of the two enjoying a bite to eat on Instagram to his 228,000 followers where he joked they were taking part in a ‘Breakfast Gloves Are Off’ special.

Paul, 24, added fuel to the fire earlier this month by claiming Fury’s girlfriend – Molly-Mae Hague – direct messaged him on Twitter.
And his comments have annoyed Fury to the point of him wanting a physical altercation.
In an interview with iFL TV, TNT said of the former Disney star: “In a ring, I’d rip him to pieces.
“If I ever do see him; any events or if I see him on the street, I’m gonna stick it on him.”
Ex- Love Island contestant Fury renewed his calls to face the younger Paul brother earlier this month after seeing him brutally KO former UFC star Ben Askren.

He said: “Jake Paul, he’s just a s***house.
“He won’t ever fight me because he hasn’t got a pair of balls. And that’s just it.”
Paul, however, insists he’s more than willing to throw down with the undefeated Fury, although he wants the former reality TV star to pick a notable win first.
He told ESPN: “No one has ever watched any of his fights, the only reason people know of him is because of me.

“He started talking about me and his brother called me out on his behalf.
“No one has ever watched a Tommy Fury pay-per-view so no one knows if he will do numbers at the box office.
“His [promoter Frank Warren] went on TV and said send the contract, 50/50.
“I was like, get out of here with that.
“This guy only has a name and has articles written about him because of me and you’re asking for 50/50… take it somewhere else.
“Maybe when he fights someone with a winning record and a highlight performance then it makes sense for us to fight, but until then, move on.”

Anthony Joshua fight with Tyson Fury in further doubt with Saudi site deal ‘mirage’ and Deontay Wilder talks to begin

BOB ARUM has claimed Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury’s site deal to fight in Saudi Arabia is a ‘mirage’ which could lead to talks with Deontay Wilder. The heavyweight superstars are still in negotiations for an undisputed title decider in the summer, which was first signed in March.
Tyson Fury and US promoter Bob Arum
Eddie Hearn revealed both champions had agreed a site deal, believed to be Saudi Arabia, with three weekend spots to choose from.
But Fury’s US promoter Arum has now thrown doubt over Saudi deal and unification super-fight altogether.
He told The Ring: “If I had to bet whether the Tyson Fury versus Anthony Joshua fight would happen or not, I would say no.”
Negotiations between Fury, 32, and Joshua, 31, all came as Wilder, 35, took his right to redemption with the Gypsy King to court.
The American was dethroned of the WBC belt in February 2020 but already had an immediate rematch included in the contract.
But Fury’s side argued that expired in October, allowing him to enter talks with AJ, which Arum appears to claim have stalled.
The legendary promoter travelled with Fury to California to work on mediation with Wilder.
But former lawyer Arum is open to turning the legal case into talks for a trilogy fight, should the Battle of Britain collapse completely.

He said: “A switch to negotiation is possible.”
Hearn has always maintained they never had a backup for Joshua bar fighting Fury.
And he warned Arum’s comments are all part of a masterplan to accelerate talks between the opposing camps.
Hearn told The Mirror: “Bob is trying to put pressure on, that’s how he works.
“He will think it’s a bit slow now, give an interview thinking it will speed up the Middle East.

“We don’t need to play that game, everybody’s on board, let’s just go through the process correctly.
“Time is of the essence and if we got into a situation where the site agreement wasn’t signed in less than a week, we would have to start looking at things.
“But no-one has a plan B, which is a good sign. Bob may talk about Tyson fighting Wilder, but he ain’t going to fight Wilder, it’s a nothing fight.
“I don’t have other plans, normally I have plan A, B and C, but it’s all about this fight and it will happen.”
