Anthony Joshua wants to set up £20m GoFundMe for Deontay Wilder to step aside so he can ‘smoke that fat guy’ Tyson Fury

ANTHONY JOSHUA wants to set up a £20million GoFundMe for Deontay Wilder to step aside so he can ‘smoke that fat guy’ Tyson Fury. AJ and the Gypsy King were all-but ready to put every heavyweight belt on the line on August 14 in Saudi Arabia.

But that was until a US judge ruled in favour of Wilder in arbitration, meaning Fury owes the American a third fight in their series.
To salvage the historic undisputed title decider, paying the American a compensation package emerged as a potential resolution.
And Joshua, 31, appears ready to take matters into his own hands to raise the funds, as he took a swipe at rivals Fury, 32, and Wilder, 35.
He posted on social media: “I’m thinking about starting a go fund me page to raise money for wilders step aside payment £20,000,000.
“So I can smoke that fat guy with skinny legs from Manchester.
“These heavyweights need a podcast or something cas they do more talking than fighting.”
Fury dethroned Wilder of the WBC belt in February 2020 but their contract included an immediate rematch.
That never came to fruition amid the coronavirus pandemic and the Gypsy King’s team argued the stipulation expired in October.

As a result, they entered talks with Joshua all while Wilder took his case to civil court.
And after months the decision went his way, meaning Fury is faced with either fighting him or negotiating a step aside deal.
But that idea was all but thrown out by his US promoter Bob Arum and Wilder’s new trainer Malik Scott.
Scott, 40, posted: “Wilder declined and had no interest in step-aside money. Y’all dealing with a whole different type motherf***a over here.
“He want the blood, not that step-aside money. ‘Retribution is upon us’.”
And Arum told ESPN: “We’re not paying Wilder to step aside. It’s better to get rid of him. We can make Fury vs AJ for November or December.”
The Top Rank boss also revealed he has reserved the new 65,000-seater Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for July 24 should Fury have to box Wilder again.
Eddie Hearn, a driving force in securing a deal for the all-British unification, hopes the super-fight can still be saved.

But he admitted it is out of his hands and is lining up a backup option in Oleksandr Usyk, 34, who is currently Joshua’s WBO mandatory challenger.
According to The Athletic, talks are underway for AJ to face the Ukrainian on either August 21 or 28 should the undisputed fight fall through.
The news came after Hearn, who has promoted Joshua since his 2013 debut, gave Fury’s side until the end of the week to resolve their trilogy dispute.
Hearn said on Matchroom Boxing’s YouTube channel: “I have been focusing on Plan A. The only fight we had our mind on was Tyson Fury.
“We hope that that fight can still take place on August 14th.
“The game changed last night where we have to have a plan B in place, and probably a plan C as well.
“We have a couple of different options; of course, the one that springs to mind immediately is the WBO mandatory of Oleksandr Usyk.
“They have been quite patient and I think really, we are in a situation where if Team Fury don’t get themselves together, get their act together, by the end of this week, we will have no option but to look for an alternative fight.”

Tyson Fury slams Deontay Wilder and mockingly lists 26 ‘excuses’ Bronze Bomber made after loss including ‘voodoo magic’

TYSON FURY has launched yet another scathing attack on Deontay Wilder, mocking the excuses the American came out with after their rematch last year.A trilogy fight between the pair is on the brink of coming to fruition after a judge ruled Fury must face the former WBC king before September 15.
Tyson Fury mocked Deontay Wilder’s excuses for his first defeat on InstagramCredit: INSTAGRAM@GYPSYKING
The ruling has seemingly scuppered a blockbuster undisputed heavyweight title fight between The Gypsy King and Anthony Joshua.
Fury, 32, has been left furious by the judge’s ruling – so much so he’s taken aim at Wilder on social media.
And in his latest dig at the Olympian, a fired-up Fury listed all the excuses The Bronze Bomber made after losing their second fight.
An excerpt of the post read: “No excuses… but: Costume was too heavy. Fury’s gloves were loaded.
“I had weak legs. My water was spiked. Fury’s gloves had no padding. Had bicep surgery.
“I was a zombie. Disloyal trainer. Complications in camp.”

The post also included a number of conspiracy theories peddled by Wilder, including the 35-year-old’s claim that Fury had ‘egg weights’ in his gloves.
Fury’s post came after he branded Wilder a ‘reptile’ and a ‘joke’ for demanded a whopping £14million to forgo his trilogy fight.
Team Fury are currently making plans for a third fight with Wilder, despite a unification bout with Joshua still not being officially dead in the water.
Promoter Bob Arum has already reserved the 65,000 capacity Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for July 24.
The 89-year-old said: “We’re not paying Wilder to step aside.

“It’s better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December.”
Joshua’s camp have turned their attention towards a clash with former undisputed champ Oleksandr Usyk but are still holding out hope for a unification fight.
Matchroom boxing chief Eddie Hearn said: “I have been focusing on Plan A. The only fight we had our mind on was Tyson Fury.
“We hope that that fight can still take place on August 14th. The game changed last night where we have to have a plan B in place, and probably a plan C as well.
“We have a couple of different options; of course, the one that springs to mind immediately is the WBO mandatory of Oleksandr Usyk.

“They have been quite patient and I think really, we are in a situation where if Team Fury don’t get themselves together, get their act together, by the end of this week, we will have no option but to look for an alternative fight.
“AJ wants to fight this summer, Oleksandr Usyk is the mandatory, we have two or three other options as well. In an ideal world, if the right deal could be done, to maintain those belts and to keep the Fury fight alive for December, but for the undisputed as well.
“I had a very good conversation this morning with Alex Krassyuk, he is a partner of ours and we have worked very well with Oleksandr Usyk and I was just very honest.
“I said to him, ‘Team Fury are trying to solve the issue, if they don’t, there’s a very good chance we could be fighting you.’
“So if we are all sensible, let’s move forward, let’s try and look at the options to get that locked in. Again, we are in a situation where we just don’t know how likely it is to get a full venue for August in the UK.
“That was one of the reasons it was ruled out for the Fury fight, we couldn’t get the confirmation from Wembley and other venues that we would be allowed full capacity.”

“And this belt, money cannot buy.”
Briedis’ promoters are keen to make the fight – but on the condition Paul quits boxing if he loses.

He wrote: “We all want to see Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury. Unfortunately, the sport of boxing can be AC-12 levels of bent.
“A US Court has now decided Fury has to fight Deontay Wilder for a third time, this means the Joshua-Fury fight could be postponed.
“However, there’s still hope of saving it. Deontay Wilder could be paid ‘step-aside’ money – essentially a big wedge of cash to get out of the way of this all-British super fight.
“If 100,000 boxing fans chip in a tenner – and let’s face it, we’re used to being ripped off – we can offer him a million quid to get out of the way.
“Not only will it offer an incentive, it will send a message. The fans don’t want to see any other fight.”
