Watch Deontay Wilder dance in 2am outdoor ring workout before showing off explosive power ahead of Tyson Fury fight

DEONTAY WILDER is hard at work ahead of his trilogy fight with Tyson Fury – but the American is making sure to enjoy his preparations for his long-awaited return to the ring. The Bronze Bomber will renew his rivalry with Fury on July 24 at Las Vegas’ brand new 65,000 capacity Allegiant Stadium.

Wilder, 35, has enlisted the help of former opponent Malik Scott to prepare for his third encounter with The Gypsy King.
But the pair have made sure their first camp together isn’t strictly business – having a boogie before a 2am training session.
Early on Tuesday morning, Wilder shared footage of himself dancing as Scott laced up his gloves to his Instagram page.
As Old School Funk by One Way blared out in the background, Wilder repeatedly shouted: “While they sleep, we work!”
Scott also got in on the act, much to the delight of his former opponent.
But the mood soon changed when Scott put on the pads and started putting Wilder through his paces.

The Olympic bronze medallist didn’t let the music affect his focus, perfectly landing crunching combinations and showcasing better footwork than usual.
Wilder was demolished by Fury in their second meeting last February, suffering a seventh-round TKO defeat to the former unified heavyweight champion.
Scott has been impressed by the improvements Wilder has made during their short time working together.
And the Philadelphia punisher is adamant his former opponent will exact revenge on the WBC king.
He told 78SPORTSTV: “We built a facility to do a licensed homicide. Deontay Wilder is not playing. He built a facility to get this job done.
“When he wakes up and rolls out of bed it’s right to work. Everything we’re doing he’s right to work.”

He later added: “I’ve never seen it before from him like this at this level.
“I’m proud of him already for what we’re about to get done.”
Wilder’s co-manager – Shelly Finkel – has been equally impressed by what he’s seen of the former WBC champ, telling Sky Sports: “He’s training harder for this fight.
“He’s been training since August, July, physically. Now he’s been training tactically.
“It’s eight weeks from tomorrow, the fight.
‘”There is no reason to talk, because no matter what anyone says, most people aren’t going to believe it unless he proves it in the ring.
“He also has a lot of skills that he hasn’t shown recently.
“Like he says, ‘They need 12 rounds, I need two seconds,’ and I think you’ll see someone prepared for 12 rounds.”

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley CONFIRMED with fight date scheduled as YouTuber prepares to take on former UFC star

JAKE PAUL will face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match on August 28.On Monday night, it emerged a clash between the social media star and the MMA vet was in the works for later this summer.

And on Tuesday afternoon, Paul announced to the world his fourth professional outing will see him share the ring with The Chosen One.
He wrote: “It’s officialI have a list of people I plan on knocking out and as I enter my fourth pro fight, I am excited to cross the first one off the list by challenging myself against @twooodley a 5 time UFC Champion known for his knockout power.”
Paul, 24, stretched his professional record to 3-0 in April with a brutal first-round KO of Woodley’s good friend Ben Askren.
Woodley, 39, was furious with Paul’s pre and post-fight antics and vowed to make him pay for his words.
And The St Louis slugger’s trash talk has served as added motivation for Paul to put on a show in his maiden outing on Showtime.
He added: “Tyron ran his mouth a little too much in the locker room when I knocked out his best friend Ben and earned himself a top spot on the Problem Child death list.

“Tyron’s a seasoned striker who has fought the best MMA fighters in the world but will be dropped by a Disney teen star in 2 rounds.
“Maybe this time Dana White will actually be a man of his word and put his money on his former champion instead of trying to undermine my success like a jealous ex.
“Influencer vs MMA….let’s get it on. It’s Showtime.”
Woodley – who was released from the UFC in April following four consecutive losses – is relishing the opportunity to silence the younger Paul brother.
He said: “Easiest fight of my career & biggest purse of my career all in one night.
“Basically, they brought me in to take out the trash. Can’t wait to shut this b***h up.

“This is getting done for the culture, the whole MMA/boxing community, to rid this guy of combat sports.”
Paul has made waves in the combat sports world since making his professional boxing debut in January 2020.
The outspoken YouTuber has ruffled the feathers of boxers and mixed martial artists alike with his brashness and supreme confidence.
Woodley is among those irked by the former Disney star and can’t wait to get his hands on him.
Last month, he told TMZ: “Some people just need to be taught a lesson.
“Like at the end of the day, you just can’t sit here and think that real motherf*****s have put their time in this.
“Yeah if you want get in here and get a couple fights and make some money because you’ve got so many subscribers and you did something dope in another lane, I’m all for that.
“But when it comes down to [it], you gonna parade around and act like, ‘Oh, I’m a boxer, everybody is scared of me. I’m this, I’m that.’
“And then, you’re talking s**t about my dog. Now we gotta go.”

Mike Tyson claims he slept with prison counsellor and had to ‘do some really nasty stuff to her’ to reduce jail sentence

FORMER heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson has claimed he had sex with a prison counsellor after being found guilty of rape in 1992.And shockingly the 54-year-old says that he had to ‘do some really nasty stuff’ to the woman in the hope of having his sentence reduced.

The American’s boxing career came to a juddering halt in 1992 when he was sentenced to six years in prison after being convicted of rape in Indiana.
But he was released in 1995 after serving less than three years of his sentence.
Speaking to Vlad TV, Iron Mike, who has made a return to boxing aged 54, has revealed all about life behind bars – and sleeping with one of the counsellors at the time.
He explained: “I got in trouble like the first six months and stuff, cursing, getting written up. And then by that time, I got the hang of the place. ‘Hey, I know how to do this.’
“Next thing you know, I’m dating one of the counsel workers now, she’s letting me have sex with her now.
“So I’m going good. But the first six months I was getting write-ups, I have to pay that year back.
“[Now] I’m like a star pupil prisoner. Trusty, everything. Then, ‘Hey Mike, remember the first six months you were a prick?’ Boom. They gave me another year.
“So by passing the GED [General Education Department] they took that year away. So I flunked the f***ing GED and got mad, and so I had to start dating this counsellor and stuff, giving her money and doing really some nasty stuff to her, and she let me pass this test.”

Tyson then admitted his sentence kept getting reduced – that ultimately led to him continbuing his boxing career.
He added: “I came in with 50-something [years]. They cut it all the way down to three year.
“I was doing 69 at first—they gave me 63. Then they took 10 off, then it was 53. And then they gave me 10, I had to do three, I got seven on parole, I guess, yeah.”
In an episode of Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, he told presenter Jim Gray how he ‘had a ball’ inside.
He said: “I thought that this was the worst thing that could happen to a human being.”
He described how he felt ‘safe and secure’ locked up.

He added: “I had a girlfriend and I got a girl pregnant in prison. I was living a life in prison.
“It was just meant to be. I was Mike Tyson and everybody gave me what I wanted.

That will take place on July 24 in Las Vegas, with Wilder desperate for revenge after being battered into a seventh-round KO in February last year.
Now Fury, who has been out in the US for weeks for training and enjoying the high-life, is getting down to business.
He uploaded a snap of himself waving to the camera, captioned: “Camp time = serious time.
“I’ll be offline. Please everyone don’t contact me for anything as I’m in training camp.
“My team will keep everyone updated on my progress, God bless you all.
“See you on July 24 Las Vegas. My phone is going off. Thanks.”
The Gypsy King also uploaded a clip from a training session where he said: “Camp started today guys, got eight weeks until I smash Deontay Wilder’s face right in for him.
“Can’t wait to do that, July 24, tune in.”

Fury has also BANNED all talk of Anthony Joshua as he prepares to face the American for a third time.
A source told SunSport: “Tyson is ready and willing to fight AJ. And he won’t rest until he has beaten him and proved to everyone he is the better fighter.
“But he wants to turn down the volume now on all the noise around AJ. That is for another day. Tyson is focusing totally on Wilder.
“He firmly believes he can give the American a boxing lesson and is training harder than ever to be in perfect condition for the fight. Everything else is simply a distraction which he won’t allow into his head.”
With Fury tied up with Wilder, it seems likely Joshua will fight his WBO mandatory challenger – former undisputed cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk.

Topless Anthony Joshua plays chess as he rethinks plan of attack on Tyson Fury after Deontay Wilder hurdle

TOPLESS Anthony Joshua is plotting his next move – on the chessboard and in his career. The British superstar, 31, took to Instagram on Monday evening to show his 12.3million followers how he spent his Bank Holiday.

The boxing superstar has plenty of thinking to do regarding his next plan of attackCredit: Instagram @anthonyjoshua
It is unclear where the photos were taken but they appear to be in a garden and recent posts suggest he is currently at home.
AJ made the most of the glorious weather by stripping down to his shorts and soaking up the sun.
But the 6ft 6ins shredded boxer was in no mood just to relax and instead played a game of chess.
He cryptically captioned the post: “The queen protects the king.”
Joshua was no doubt honing his mental and strategic skills.
And he will need plenty of those as he rethinks his plan of attack in the ring.
The WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight king was expected to take on Tyson Fury this summer in the first part of their unification double-header.
But those plans were put into check when Fury was ordered to fight Deontay Wilder for a third time.

That trilogy contest will take place on July 24 with Fury banning any AJ talk in his training camp.
And that means Joshua must either take on WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk or vacate the belt.
The sudden change has forced AJ to shake up his training plan to take on the southpaw Ukrainian, who is a whopping six inches shorter than orthodox Fury.
Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk is in talks with Eddie Hearn and growing confident his man will get a crack at the unified titles.
Meanwhile, Hearn does not expect his flagship star to give up the WBO belt but is confident an agreement will be reached between the two parties, even if it is after today’s deadline.
The Matchroom chief said: “I feel like as long as the deal goes smoothly and no one tries to be clever, then I think that fight is quite automatic. As long as everyone’s sensible, that’s the fight.
“And I think it’s a very good fight. It’s not the Fury fight, which is the one we wanted, but it’s still a very good fight.
“I do think where we are with negotiations, we would probably say to the WBO, if there’s no deal by Tuesday, could we have another week, please? We’ll either make a deal or we’ll vacate.”

And Scott believes he is following in the footsteps of the great AliCredit: Associated Press
And Scott, who has only begun training Wilder since his loss to Fury in February last year, has compared The Bronze Bomber with legendary boxer Ali.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV: “Muhammad Ali is one of my greatest fighters of all time.
“He very was magical in the ring, but it was the things he beat outside the ring that truly got my attention.
“Deontay Wilder is the closest thing to that in this time.”
Wilder currently holds a professional record of 42 wins, one draw and one defeat.
Ali, who retired with a record of 56-5, is renowned for being involved in some of the greatest fights of all-time against the likes of George Foreman and Joe Frazier.
‘The Greatest’ fought for world titles between 1964 and 1980 in what was one of the most iconic careers in boxing history.
Meanwhile, Wilder is currently without a world championship belt, with Fury claiming the WBC belt from him and Anthony Joshua holding the remaining three straps.

He said: “My mentality is – you’ve been contemplating about hurting a person so bad, to the point you wanna disfigure him so his mother wouldn’t even know who he was.
“You wanna decapitate him in every way, like premeditated stuff.”

And while their rematch 16 months ago was a one-sided beatdown in favour of Fury, Wilder remains supremely confident he will exact revenge on the Brit this time around.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV, he said: “My mentality is – you’ve been contemplating about hurting a person so bad, to the point you wanna disfigure him so his mother wouldn’t even know who he was.

Wilder won his arbitration case to secure a third fight with the Brit, a decision which essentially blocked the potential for an undisputed clash between Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Since their rematch in early 2020, Wilder has changed trainers and teamed up with former heavyweight boxer Malik Scott.
Several training videos have been released of the pair working together, but Scott has now come out and publicly stated his confidence in Wilder’s ability.
“Muhammad Ali is one of my greatest fighters of all time,” he said. “He very was magical in the ring, but it was the things he beat outside the ring that truly got my attention.
