When asked if he watched the fight, Mayweather said: “I didn’t even see it.
“He fight on an app now, right? Real fighters fight on Showtime.”
The retired Mayweather – who is gearing up for an exhibition with YouTuber Logan Paul – locked horns with Canelo in September 2013.
Money put on an absolute clinic against the then 23-year-old on his way to earning a majority decision victory.

When asked about a potential rematch, he said: “You mean Canelo? Easy work.”
Canelo hasn’t tasted defeat since losing the Sin City showdown and is confident he’d get the better of Mayweather second time around.
He said: “I’m a more complete fighter now. It would be much more competitive.
“I have a lot more experience. I have improved a lot, so it would be different.
“It was experience that defeated me that night and that’s why it was a boring fight, as well, because he didn’t do too much to me, either.

“It was experience and I’m a much more mature fighter.
“I am a better fighter that fought that night.
“After Mayweather, we’ve faced very good fighters. We fought Miguel Cotto, GGG twice.
“It will be different and I’m a more complete fighter now with more experience.
“If this fight were to happen again, we’d defeat him no problem.”

He suffered an eye injury which led to him having to retire following his 1996 defeat to Mike Tyson.
Frank has also revealed how former opponent James Bone Crusher Smith – who was one of only three men to beat Bruno – is also keen on a rematch.
Revealing the offers on social media Frank, who now runs a mental health charity the Frank Bruno Foundation, said: “My office gets some interesting calls.
“Today, do I want an exhibition match with James Bone-Crusher Smith.
“Two weeks ago it was Roy Jones Jr. I would love to fight but my eyes are not good and sadly we had to decline. I am disappointed.”
Frank’s comments come amid reports two of his former opponents are planning to lock horns.

According to reports Tyson wants to step in the ring with Lennox Lewis.
Tyson recently declared himself ‘invincible’ following his successful return to the ring last year.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion returned to the squared circle last November for an exhibition bout against Jones Jr.
Tyson’s clash with the four-weight champ ended in a draw, although the 54-year-old turned in a much better performance than expected.
And Iron Mike still feels on top of the world after getting himself back in shape and back in the ring.
During a recent episode of his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, he said: “F**k the comeback.

“I want to be up more than anybody in the f***ing world deep down.
“No one can stop me, I’m invincible.”
Tyson was in talks over a trilogy fight with former rival Evander Holyfield later this year.
But The Real Deal has agreed to box Kevin McBride, the man who retired Tyson in 2005.
Tyson has since claimed he’s set to have a rematch with Lennox Lewis, telling TMZ: “I’m going to fight Lennox Lewis. Yeah, September.”

The last undisputed heavyweight champion of the world told TMZ: “If the public wanted it then we would probably talk.
“I don’t know. I don’t really have nothing pushing me in the ring right now.
Lewis recently confirmed talks over a blockbuster bout are underway, saying: “We’re talking.”
Lewis, 55, is open to the fight but admits he has no real motivation to get back inside the ring.
“People would love to see that fight but I don’t know.”
Tyson and Lewis fought one another 19 years ago at the Memphis Pyramid in Tennessee.
Lewis came out of the bad-blooded contest on top, knocking out Tyson to retain the WBC, IBF, IBO, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles.

Gonzalez will be welcomed to the BKFC ring by former Combate Americas flyweight Charisa Sigala, who made her promotional debut in February.
The UFC vet was originally meant to make her debut on May 21 but had her maiden outing pushed back.
Upon announcing her deal with the promotion, Gonzalez said: “I’ve officially signed with [Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships] and I will be fighting in Miami on May 21!.
“I made the biggest sacrifice of my life, packed up everything and moved to Brooklyn, New York permanently to train with the greatest female boxer in the world, [Amanda Serrano].
“I promise to dedicate my life to becoming the next BKFC World Champ and couldn’t be happier to start this new chapter in my life!”
Gonzalez was released from the UFC in 2018 following back-to-back losses to Cynthia Calvillo and Poliana Botelho.

She returned to Invicta FC soon after, where she won four of her last six outings.
BKFC’s acquisition of Gonzalez is the latest in a series of marquee signings of ex-UFC fighters.
Last August, they secured the services of former strawweight and flyweight standout Paige VanZant.
And in April, they snapped up former Ultimate Fighter competitor Rachael Ostovich.
Ostovich is set to make her BKFC debut against VanZant at BKFC 19 on July 23.

The pair, 30 and 27 respectively, have history with one another having shared the octagon in January 2019.
VanZant got the better of the Hawaiian that night, submitting her with a second-round rear-naked choke.
Following the announcement of their rematch, PVZ gave her legion of social media followers a titillating reason to tune in to the fight.
She wrote on Twitter and Instagram: “Come for the boobies, stay for the violence.”
Ostovich, meanwhile, wrote: “It’s a Fight girl summer for meeeeeee.
“Let’s run this back real quick. 👀 See y’all July 23rd.”

He may be the only person dreaming of sending Mayweather tumbling to the first defeat of his legendary career but when heavyweight king Fury came calling recently, there was only one answer.
The Gypsy King wanted to set up Jake Paul, Logan’s brother, with Tommy Fury and tried to fix up a scrap himself.
Logan doesn’t fancy that though and said: “I am so ready for Floyd but one boxer I don’t want to fight is Tyson Fury.
“He pitched me in my DM’s and said my brother can fight Tommy Fury and I can fight him.
“But I was like, no I’ll pass.”
Massive pay-per-view figures are expected for the eight round tussle, especially considering Jake Paul insists his last fight in April against Ben Askren brought in a reported 1.5 million buys, thereby generating around $75 million.

🥊 MAYWEATHER VS LOGAN PAUL: Where will the fight take place, what TV channel and live stream will it be on?
The media scrum here in Miami showed that while many think this is nothing more than a money making joke, whenever Mayweather is in town, massive interest always follows.
Logan, who will weigh around 190lbs with Mayweather likely to tip the scales at around 160 lbs, added: “This whole thing is just so crazy, we have already defied the odds.
“When my manager asked if I wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather I just laughed.
“But I will never laugh at him again. I can’t believe all this but I am determined to put on a show.
“They can say it’s an exhibition but I am ready to fight. I really do believe that people will be surprised at my skills.
“I am that dude, the guy who does something no-one else thinks they can do. That’s been me my whole life, I am here to achieve the impossible. Sunday night will be an extension of that.

    “I don’t give a f***. He hasn’t knocked anyone out in a decade and I can take a shot. “
Paul, 26, took on fellow YouTuber KSI in 2018 which reportedly generated 1.3 million pay per view buys worldwide, before a rematch in 2019 in Los Angeles.
Mayweather, meanwhile, last appeared in an officially sanctioned boxing bout in 2017 when he defeated UFC superstar Conor McGregor despite hanging up his gloves two years earlier.
His most recent ring appearance was a first-round demolition of Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa on New Year’s Eve 2018 .
This event is being labelled as an exhibition so judges won’t be ringside at the Hard Rock Stadium. That means there will be no winner unless someone is knocked out or stopped.
Mayweather said: ”I may have retired from boxing but I never retired from entertaining, having fun and making money.”

Anthony Joshua could give Dillian Whyte long-awaited rematch if Oleksandr Usyk deal not reached, reveals Eddie Hearn

ANTHONY JOSHUA’s next fight could end being against Dillian Whyte if a deal for him to face Oleksandr Usyk can’t be reached.Negotiations over a showdown with the former undisputed cruiserweight king have been ongoing ever since the collapse of AJ’s blockbuster showdown with Tyson Fury.

A deal for AJ’s WBO mandatory, however, has yet to be reached.
And the delay has prompted Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, to entertain the prospect of vacating the belt and taking another fight – including a rematch with Whyte.
The Matchroom Boxing chief told iFL TV: “Usyk is our preferred opponent, we want to hold onto the belts.
“But there is a little bit of tiredness over being told who to fight and what split they have got to get and the inability to have flexibility in AJ’s schedule.
“But at the same time, he hasn’t worked this hard to get the belts just to give them up.
“We have made Usyk what we feel is a very fair offer we don’t have a deal yet but again it is our intention to make that fight but if we can’t we will make other plans.”
CASINO SIGN UP OFFER: CLAIM UP TO £800 IN CASINO BONUS CASH

He added: “I still feel the Dillian Whyte fight is one that is bound to happen in time and if we didn’t have so many mandatories I think that would have happened before.
“Andy Ruiz has been on for no3, Luis Ortiz is another one that could be made in the US.
“There are a few options. But our absolute preference is to defend against Usyk and maintain those belts.”
Joshua vs Usyk is dangerously close to going to a purse bid, a scenario Hearn is eager to avoid.
He said: “We’ll either make a deal or we’ll vacate.
Eddie Hearn doesn’t want Joshua’s mandatory against Usyk to go to a purse bidCredit: Matchroom Boxing

“I mean, we won’t be going to purse bids or anything like that, and mucking around.
“By the way, I don’t blame the WBO. They were actually quite generous to us with our time. I mean, let’s be honest – it dragged on a lot, didn’t it?
“So, I have to take my hat off to [WBO president] Paco Valcarcel, because he did put himself, his neck on the line, to allow that fight, when Usyk had a strong case for it not to be allowed.
“But when the time come, [Valcarcel] had to do what he had to do. So, I’m not annoyed with the WBO.
“I’m just annoyed that it seems that basically AJ is told who he’s got to fight every single time.
“But that’s the problem of having three or four belts. That’s just how it is.”
