Deontay Wilder won the right to fight Fury for a third time.
And Joshua is now taking on Oleksandr Usyk instead.
Should Fury and AJ both win their next bouts, it’s expected they’d finally clash at the end of the year.
However, promoter Hearn claims Fury could end up fighting Whyte before getting near AJ.
British ace Whyte is the interim WBC champion and therefore mandatory challenger.
Hearn told DAZN Boxing: “If Tyson Fury wants another another fight in between, let’s do the right thing and give it to the mandatory challenger, Dillian Whyte.”
Hearn’s comments come after WBC president Mauricio Suliaman said that Whyte is NOT the WBC mandatory challenger.
And the issue will only be addressed once Fury completes his third scrap against Wilder.

Sulaiman told Boxing Social: “At this moment there is no mandatory contender in the division.
“We have this fight that is happening on July 24 and afterwards we will be addressing this matter.
“We have just seen in the news that Whyte will be fighting in August.
“We have not received a sanction request, that’s what we saw in the news.
“This is always an ever ongoing situation. There’s not much I can say right now.
“We’re in a process that we have to deal with and as soon as we have news about this matter, we will be letting you know.”

Joshua’s showdown with Uysk is on the verge of being officially announced, although ‘three small issues’ need to be resolved before the pair can throw down.
Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krassuyk told The Daily Mail: “According to my experience in boxing, the fight is done when both fighters enter the ring and the bell sounds.
“We just have three small issues to co-ordinate, which we’re going to do tonight.

“But all those small issues are in progress. Nothing major.
“We keep saying we’re going to make it within a couple of days. But the issue is our lawyers are in the United States, we’re in Ukraine, [AJ’s] guys are in the UK.
“We don’t need to talk much, we just need to agree on small issues and to proceed further.”

The American won his arbitration case for a trilogy fight against Fury – and that is now happening on July 24.
Joshua is set to face Oleksandr Usyk on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that the 31-year-old believes Fury never really wanted the fight and the breakdown was ‘intentional’.
Now Fury has his back and is angry that he is being accused of dodging Joshua.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the 32-year-old joked: “I’m absolutely quaking in my boots, for the big bodybuilder.
“I’m s***ing myself because them muscles are terrifying.
“Listen, at the end of the day I’ve never avoided anybody in my career.
“Wilder’s the most dangerous fighter on this planet. I’m giving this fighter – the most dangerous puncher in the history of our sport – three chances in a row to beat me.

“You’ve got one man who’s quick as lightning, who can knock you out with one punch.

AJ is keen to right that black mark against his name by returning to America and promoter Eddie Hearn claims Deontay Wilder could be a potential opponent – if he defeats Tyson Fury.
He told Tha Boxing Voice: “I think Anthony Joshua would love to fight in America again. I think he wants to come back and almost put that right.
“I see him coming back to America. I see him dominating for a long time.”
And when asked about whether a Wilder vs Joshua fight would be a 50/50 split, Hearn responded: “That’s something I’d have to speak to AJ about. I guess so, I guess he’d deserve that.
“The energy would be exactly the same. It’s just about undisputed.”
Joshua experienced the great high of fighting under the lights at Madison Square Garden.
But he lost his world heavyweight belts and his undefeated record to Ruiz, before beating the Mexican in a rematch in Saudi Arabia.
Since AJ regained his belts, Fury has won the WBC and The Ring magazine titles, having stopped Wilder in round seven of their rematch in Las Vegas in 2020.

The Gypsy King was due to fight AJ in a bout to unify the belts before a court ruled Fury was contractually obliged to face off against Wilder once more.
The outcome of their July meeting will be key to Joshua’s immediate future, but Hearn could seek to set up a clash with Wilder if the American is victorious.
If not, a return to America may have to wait for Joshua, with Saudi Arabia a likely location if Fury agrees to a fight.

Deontay Wilder’s trainer praises ‘very good’ Anthony Joshua and hints at future unification fight ‘after Tyson Fury KO’

ANTHONY JOSHUA is ‘next’ after Deontay Wilder defeats Tyson Fury, according to the Bronze Bomber’s trainer.A potential unification battle is on the horizon after Wilder faces Fury and Joshua fights Oleksandr Usyk this summer.

Fans had expected to see the Gypsy King face his British rival but his trilogy clause with Wilder was deemed active by arbitration, setting up their July 24 showdown.
Fury is the favourite to win the WBC belt that he claimed with a seventh-round TKO of the American last year.
But Wilder’s coach, Malik Scott, is already thinking about future bouts to come for his fighter.
He is quoted by talkSPORT as saying: “[Joshua is a] very good fighter.
“He’s shown improvements over time. After we KO Tyson Fury, he’s next. Undisputed.”
Former boxer Scott, 40, was hired by Wilder, 35, after he ditched Mark Breland in the aftermath of the Las Vegas rematch defeat.

And he is confident that the Bronze Bomber will deliver a speedy victory this time around.
Speaking to 78SportsTV, Scott said: “Deontay Wilder’s going to be heavyweight champion of the world for the second time.
“Tyson Fury will not make it out of five rounds. That’s my prediction for the fight.”
Wilder has infuriated Fury’s camp by accusing the 32-year-old of cheating in their previous heavyweight fights.
Despite the defending champ calling the allegations ‘hurtful’, Wilder has doubled down.
He claimed: “You think he ain’t gonna try to cheat this time?

Wilder was battered all over the ring as he suffered his first ever defeat as a pro – and a one-sided one at that.
In the aftermath the Alabama fighter came out with a whole raft of excuses.
One was that his ringwalk suit was ‘too heavy’, another was that his trainer Mark Breland ‘spiked his water’.
And a third was that Fury had something in his gloves to give him some kind of advantage.
All those accused by Wilder have strenuously denied his ‘ludicrous’ claims.
But it seems the deposed WBC champ is refusing to back down.
Speaking to 78SportsTV, the 35-year-old said: “You think he ain’t gonna try to cheat this time?
“Oh they’re thinking, they’re coming up with a master plan.

After his KO loss last year Wilder speculated that he was left with a dent in his head because Fury put ‘something the size and shape of an egg-weight’ in his gloves.
Despite Wilder’s bizarre claims and peculiar actions of late, his trainer Malik Scott is predicting a KO win for his man.

Many will be surprised by Scott’s comments after Fury, 32, outclassed Wilder, 35, in their December 2018 draw before stopping him 14 months later.
The former heavyweight champ hired Scott in June to get him perfect shape for the trilogy fight, calling him a ‘genius’.
Wilder said: “Malik is my true brother. Even before me and Malik fought, we were very close.
“Throughout our careers we have always talked. I always wanted to bring him in because of his genius and his mindset as a fighter.
“He’s a genius in his mind, he knows what to do, but he just didn’t have the athletic body to be able to perform what’s in his head.

Scott last fought professionally in November 2016, finishing with a 38-3-1 record.
The 40-year-old got close to challenging for a heavyweight title, suffering defeats to big-name stars Derek Chisora, Luis Ortiz and Wilder.
The Bronze Bomber has also received praise from ex-cruiserweight Tony Bellow, who claims Wilder is ‘biggest punching heavyweight since Mike Tyson’.

The upcoming bout is arguably the American’s biggest to date, with ex-promoter Lou DiBella claiming Wilder’s ‘career is on the line’.
But the Gypsy King remains the favourite and has been mocking his opponent by training in his WBC belt.
