Fury demolished Wilder inside seven rounds to inflict the first defeat of the American’s career back in February 2020.
Neither man has fought since then, and both have been busy in longer training camps.
When is Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3?

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 was originally slated to take place on July 24, but it will now take place on October 9.
Expect the main event of Fury vs Wilder 3 at around 4am BST.
The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas plays host.

What TV channel and live stream is Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 on?

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 is most likely to be broadcasted live on BT Sport Box Office in the UK, though it has not yet been confirmed.
In the US the event is expected to be live on ESPN+ and Fox PPV.

    How the fighters compare

    Who is on the undercard?
The event, cross-promoted by Top Rank and Premier Boxing Champions, will see a host of heavy-hitters featuring on the undercard.
That includes the battle of unbeaten heavyweights in Cuba’s Frank Sanchez meeting Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba.
Sanchez, a training partner of Canelo Alvarez who is promoted by Top Rank, will put his 18-0 record against PBC’s Ajagba, who stands 15-0.
Robert Helenius will also rematch Adam Kownacki on the bill.
Polish prospect Kownacki, 32, was defeated for the first time and stunned by veteran Helenius, 37, in March 2020.
American star Jared Anderson will return, with an opponent yet to be confirmed.
Anderson, 21, is 9-0 and was credited as a huge part in Fury’s win against Wilder last year.
He provided the Gypsy King with expert sparring Stateside, winning the praise of the WBC champion.

    What have they said?
Fury, after Wilder’s silence during their press conference: “It shows how weak of a mental person he is.

“It shows how much the beating from the last fight has taken an emotional and physical effect on his life.
“I was worried about Deontay Wilder for quite a while after the defeat I gave him.
“Obviously he’s doing his little thing with his earphones on and he doesn’t want to answer any questions, that’s up to him. I’m here to promote a fight and talk to the press – what I always do.” More

Tyson Fury reveals row with ‘bully’ Anthony Joshua over the phone and says ‘it didn’t fare too well for AJ’

TYSON FURY claims that he encountered the ‘true Anthony Joshua’ during a heated phone call with his rival, labelling the two-time world heavyweight champion a ‘bully’. Fury, 33, told The Lowdown that he once received an angry phone call from Joshua telling him what he was going to do to him when the pair eventually meet in the ring.

Fury said: “He phoned me up one day in a mood to say he was gonna do this and do that to me. It didn’t fare too well for him, let’s say that… I just told him the truth. The truth always hurts.”
The pair had a seemingly amicable relationship until quite recently, having sparred together as youngsters, talked on FaceTime and even bumped into each other on holiday in Marbella.
Fury even said in an interview with Gary Neville on The Overlap that he respects AJ and reckons his biggest rival would ‘love him’ if they got to know each other.
He also went on to say: “I respect him not only because of a boxing side of things, I respect him because he’s come from a very rough council estate.
“He was a drug dealer and all that sort of stuff in his early life – and he’s changed it all around to become a champion.”
Despite this, when speaking on The Lowdown about their bust up, Fury elaborated: “Just out of the blue. He decided to give me a call, a telling off call.

“I don’t think he liked what he heard on the end of it. There’s no telling me off anyway.
“I just told him the truth and the truth always hurts. I have definitely encountered the true Anthony Joshua. Not a nice person, sort of a bully.
“Someone who thought he was gonna put the bluff on me. That’s what type of person he is.”
“I think he loves me really but pretends he hates me. He used to be a fan boy of mine years ago when I was a champion and he was a nobody.Tyson Fury on The Overlap
The two have often come to blows on social media, with Joshua claiming Fury would never be able to sell out Wembley Stadium without him.
The 31-year-old said: “If Fury could have sold out 90,000-capacity stadiums, then he would have done. But he never has had the ability to attract those large numbers, not until he fights me.”
Fury hasn’t fought professionally since his last bout with Deontay Wilder in February 2020, which he won by technical knockout in the seventh round.
Joshua, on the other hand, retained his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles when he stopped Kubrat Pulev with a stunning knockout in the ninth round back in December 2020.
Fury and AJ had previously agreed to go head to head in an undisputed world heavyweight title fight, only for the fight collapse as Fury was ordered by an arbitration judge to face Deontay Wilder first.
The fight was reportedly due to take place on 14th August in Saudi Arabia, but Fury will instead take on Deontay Wilder in the third chapter of their trilogy fight on 9th October in Nevada, USA.
Meanwhile, Joshua will take on Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to defend his titles on September 25.
Joshua called Fury out on social media after their fight collapsed, claiming that the WBC champion never really intended to fight him in the first place.
He said: “Tyson Fury the world now sees you for the fraud you are. You’ve let boxing down! You lied to the fans and led them on. Used my name for clout not a fight.”
Should Fury and Joshua both come out on top in their respective fights, talks will likely resume over the hotly-anticipated all-British heavyweight showdown for 2022.

David Haye says he knows secret to beating Tyson Fury after calling out old rival for shock fight aged 40

HEAVYWEIGHT boxer David Haye has claimed he is ‘good enough’ to beat world champion Tyson Fury. Haye came out of retirement to claim victory over Joe Fournier late on Saturday night, and made the sensational declaration following their clash in Florida.

The 40-year-old was scheduled to fight Fury back in 2013, but injury forced him to twice withdraw from bouts against the Gypsy King.
And after beating Fournier over eight, two-minute rounds on Saturday, Haye told IFLTV: “I know how to beat Tyson Fury, I really do. I’m being deadly serious.
“I understand why he’s so effective and no-one else can see it. I’m good enough still to do it. I would have done it back in 2013. He knows it.”
The comments followed up Haye’s outburst after the fight, as the Bermondsey-born boxer called out Fury.
He said: “There’s one fighter I’d come back to professional boxing for and that’s Tyson Fury.
“Tyson Fury, that big fat dosser, I know his kryptonite, I know what he can’t handle.

“He’s a dosser, it’s his word, he’s a dosser. And I’m his kryptonite. I know that he knows it, his dad knows it, his uncle knows it.”
Haye retired from boxing in 2018 after losing his rematch against Tony Bellew, but made a shock return to the ring to take on his old friend Fournier.
The Hayemaker’s professional career reads at 28 wins from 32 fights, with four losses.
Meanwhile the man he wants to fight next in Fury is yet to be beaten as a professional in 31 fights.
The Gypsy King faces off against Deontay Wilder in an epic trilogy fight between the pair on October 9.

But despite Haye calling him out, the unbeaten man may not find the time for a bout.
The 33-year-old has compiled a five-fight ‘bucket list’ that includes his fight with Wilder, a clash against Dillian Whyte, two bouts with Anthony Joshua, finished off by a third meeting with Derek Chisora.
Fury and close friend Chisora have fought twice previously, and the Gypsy King fancies another slug fest with him before hanging up his gloves.

EVANDER HOLYFIELD insists he is still open to a trilogy fight with Mike Tyson despite his first round loss to Vitor Belfort. The 58-year-old was stopped within three minutes of his return to the ring in a clash one fan described as ‘the saddest event I have ever seen in a boxing ring’.

Yet despite his embarrassing loss to Belfort, Holyfield insists he would still fight Mike Tyson for a third time, 24 years after their second bout.
Speaking after his defeat to Belfort, Holyfield said: “The guy pushed me, the guy is strong.“But I wasn’t hurt. There wasn’t no shot that hurt me real bad. He got me with a shot and I was off-balance. I’m not hurt. It’s kind of sad.
“I think it was a bad call, he shouldn’t have stopped the fight that quick.”
When asked whether he would still fight Tyson, he then added: “Of course I would.”
Holyfield fought Tyson twice in the 1990s and came out on top on both occasions.

The Real Deal stopped Tyson in their first fight in Las Vegas back in November 1996.
And he then defeated him again seven months later, albeit in much more controversial circumstances.
Tyson infamously bit Holyfield’s ear, resulting in a third round disqualification.
Former heavyweight champion Tyson recently returned to the ring in a bout against fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr.
The bout ended in a draw, but many were still impressed by the skills Tyson showed.

Bjornsson, 32, takes on armwrestling legend Devon Larratt later this month in only his third boxing bout.
The former Game of Thrones star, known by fans as ‘The Mountain’, was originally scheduled to take on rival ‘The Beast’ Hall in a fiercely-contested grudge match.
However, with the Brit suffering a bicep injury in training, 6ft 9in Thor will instead look to rack up a win against Larratt.
And the 2018 World’s Strongest Man winner has already got his sights set on a new target: king of the ring Fury.
Bjornsson admits it would be an ‘honour’ to take on the man widely regarded as the best heavyweight in the world.
But Thor concedes that without further experience, Fury would teach him a lesson or two.

David Haye snubs Mike Tyson in top five heavyweights of all time over mental strength claim and details sad decline

DAVID HAYE doesn’t rank Mike Tyson in his top five heavyweights of all time because of questions over his mental strength.Former two-division champion Haye was discussing the night Tyson beat Michael Spinks in 1988 by a 91-second knockout.
David Haye says Mike Tyson cannot be considered in the top five heavyweights of all time
Michael Spinks was beaten by Tyson in 1988
But the 40-year-old believes Iron Mike’s inability to overcome adversity during fights he was losing is a reason why he does not consider him among the five greatest heavyweights ever.
Haye said on the BBC’s Costello and Bunce podcast: “How many fights did he have where he was behind on points? Where he got put down, hurt and came back, that’s the question.
“The moment he started to lose or it started to get tough, it seemed to go the other way.
“Many fighters – Holyfield, Lennox Lewis – they’ve all had tough fights where they are on the brink of losing and found a way to win, I’ve never seen that with Tyson.
“I find it hard to say someone’s in the top five of all time if they’ve never had a fight which they were losing and they came back to win.”
Tyson, 55, still reigns as the youngest heavyweight champion of all time after he thrashed Trevor Berbick in 1986 but did so after the death of his mentor Cus D’Amato, who left Kevin Rooney to corner him.
But four years later, having succumbed to distractions outside the ring, the American was upset by James ‘Buster’ Douglas in Tokyo, losing for the first time.

Tyson would then spend three years in prison after being convicted of rape in 1992 before making his boxing comeback in 1995.
He won the world titles back again in 1996 but in the same year lost to Evander Holyfield and infamously bit his ear in their rematch a year later.
The knockout artist retired in 2005 after losing to Kevin McBride and left the sport with a record of 50–6 but shocked fans after this month announcing plans to make a comeback to compete in exhibition bouts for charity.
However, he returned to the ring when he faced off against Roy Jones Jr last year.
But Haye argues if the hotheaded puncher was guided correctly throughout his career, he could have been the greatest heavyweight of all time.
He explained: “If he would have had the same team around him which got him into that shape and continued to have the fights that he had, he would’ve grown and become a better version than that.

“If he’s 21 there, he’s a baby in boxing terms. He was only going to get better and better. But what happened was, he peaked at 21 and didn’t get better, he got worse every fight.
“He did less training, less sparring, had less discipline, more money, different women. He got worse and worse until he lost.
“If he didn’t fall off, and had Rooney in his corner and the same team and had people looking after him, investing his money correctly, looking out for him, he could’ve been No1, without a doubt.”

Usyk is ‘best boxer Anthony Joshua will EVER face in his career’, says Bellew.. despite Tyson Fury waiting in wings

OLEKSANDR USYK is the ‘best boxer Anthony Joshua will ever face’, according to the Ukrainian’s former opponent Tony Bellew. The ex-undisputed cruiserweight champion will challenge unified heavyweight king AJ at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25.
Usyk will bid to hand Joshua his second pro defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Joshua is looking to retain his three world heavyweight titlesCredit: Instagram @anthonyjoshua
And Bellew, who was stopped by Usyk in the eighth round of their fight back in November 2018, has warned Joshua about the incredible skills the 18-0 man possesses.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: “This will be the best boxer Anthony Joshua will ever face in his career.
“When it comes to natural, pure boxing, Oleksandr Usyk is the most natural boxer Anthony Joshua will ever face. He is unbelievable at what he does.”
After beating Bellew three years ago, Usyk moved up to heavyweight but has fought on just two occasions since then.
After a routine win against American Chazz Witherspoon, he then had his first real test in the blue-riband division against the all-action Derek Chisora.
And while he had to overcome some tough moments, Usyk secured a unanimous decision victory.

Along with the win, he retained his WBO mandatory slot for Joshua’s belt and is now receiving his opportunity.
But Bellew believes the AJ fight could well be a step too far for Usyk.
“He [Usyk] is not a true heavyweight,” Bellew added. “Everyone keeps going on, yes he is a cruiserweight, but he is the greatest cruiserweight who has ever put on gloves.
“So he does come with an amazing skill set, but I just think weight divisions exist in boxing for a reason.
“Come rounds seven, eight and nine, he is going to find out why he is not a true heavyweight.
“I think Anthony Joshua’s speed, power and perseverance will be what catches up with Oleksandr Usyk.

“I wish he would stop fighting my friends because I want to support him! I’m a huge admirer of him and I have so much respect for the boy, but he just keeps fighting my friends so I can’t support him.”
If AJ gets the job done, he will look to set up an undisputed clash against fellow Brit Tyson Fury, who holds the WBC strap.
That is providing Fury can get past Deontay Wilder in their trilogy clash on October 9.

Sam Eggington warns Bilel Jkitou that his Abel Xavier-inspired bleached blonde hair will not cut it in headline fight

SAM EGGINGTON has warned Bilel Jkitou that his Abel Xavier bleached barnet won’t cut it tonight.Birmingham’s 27-year-old takes on the Frenchman with the tinted hair in Coventry, in a bid to edge his way closer to a WBC world title shot.

The Brit banger does not know much about the 15-0 visitor apart from he has a shocking resemblance to the former Everton, Liverpool and Middlesbrough defender.
“I honestly know very little about him,” the Egg said. “He’s unbeaten, works the body shots, he has got funny hair! That’s it.
“I seldom watch even my own fights back but I’ve good coaches who take care of that part. He’s certainly not fought anyone at the level I’ve operated at.
“The Skydome was a decent venue with just half a crowd in May. At full capacity, it’ll be some atmosphere.
“I need to win well, look comfortable to improve my ranking. Win, lose or draw, I never disappoint.”
Eggington turned down a middleweight bout with Chris Eubank Jr due to the money on offer to face Jkitou instead.

The heavy-handed Brummie is loved by fans for his all-action bravery, starring in wars with Bradley Skeete, Frankie Gavin, Paulie Malignaggi and Liam Smith.
But the veteran is now too wise to take unwinnable fights above his weight class, just for a payday, when he is edging toward a title shot.
“It’s a double-edged sword,” Eggington said. “The fans love that I’ll face anyone but now I have to get clever.
“I’ve never had a pathway before. My best chance of success would still probably be down at 154lbs because the biggest middleweights are seriously big lads.
“The Eubank fight was offered to me but there just wasn’t enough money there.
“They offered us a purse, we asked for a bit more and they didn’t even come back, so they must have had someone else lined up who was cheaper.
“He’s a big middleweight, super-middle sometimes, and I just wanted the money to be worth the fight, but they didn’t come back to us.” More
