Dillian Whyte to face Otto Wallin – who forced Tyson Fury to have 47 stitches – in blockbuster O2 fight on October 30

DILLIAN WHYTE will fight giant southpaw Swede Otto Wallin on October 30.The 33-year-old Brixton banger takes on the man who slashed a 47-stitch gash into Tyson Fury’s eye in 2019.

And the Body Snatcher will be eager to do a far more convincing job than the Gypsy King, who was lucky not to be stopped and needed the judges’ scorecards.
Whyte has slaughtered Fury’s latest promise to fight him in December as a publicity stunt to help sell his Deontay Wilder trilogy on October 9.
And doing a job on the huge underdog, who came close to stunning Fury, would make a big statement.
Whyte had been planning to fight US veteran Chris Arreola at London’s O2 but the bout fell through.
So, with just six weeks to go, he needs to switch his focus to a 6ft 6in leftie with plenty left in the tank at 30.
Since the Vegas UD loss to Fury, Wallin has continued impressing, taking his record to 22-1, with wins over Travis Kauffman and Dominic Breazeale.

Whyte – who hasn’t set foot inside the ring since his demolishing of Alexander Povetkin in March – has been engaged in a war of words with WBC king Fury on social.
But the former kickboxer is paying little attention to the lineal heavyweight champ’s latest Twitter taunts, telling SunSport: “For God’s sake, don’t get carried away listening to a single thing that conman says.
“His best attribute as a boxer is just getting the public to believe any of his bull****.
“I am the easiest boxer in the world to make a fight with.
“You call me or my people, offer us the venue, date and purse and we say yes or no.
“But Fury and his team talk rubbish.
Don’t get carried away listening to a single thing that conman says.Dillian Whyte on Tyson Fury
“They have no interest in ever fighting me, he has been mandated to fight me twice and ducked out of it — the same as he did with the Wladimir Klitschko rematch he swerved.
“No one wants to see this third Wilder fight.
“British fans can’t fly over there, it’s going to be on at 5am, so he’s using my name to try to mug fans off again into buying into his b*.
“They’ve had nearly two years to build the fight — and still no one is interested. They can’t even give the tickets away.
“Personally, I can’t see the fight even happening on October 9.
“There’s only three weeks to go and he’s still in the UK going through the motions — his American trainer Sugar Hill has only just arrived.

“He’s play-acting that the fight is happening. It’s a joke.
“As I’ve said before, the WBC need to put him into recess and let me take care of business.
“The heavyweight title has only been contested five times in four years, against three opponents. It’s a disgrace.”

Paul, 24, agreed to box The Chosen One again if he honoured the pre-fight bet by getting ‘I love Jake Paul’ tattooed on his skin.
Woodley, 39, has yet to get the tatt but believes the former Disney star has no intention of fighting him again.
The Missouri mauler told MMA Fighting: “It went from, ‘Get the tattoo, and it’s a rematch,’ to ‘get the tattoo and we’ll think about a rematch,’ to, ‘Oh, he didn’t get the tattoo, so there’s no rematch.’
“It sounds like he’s just f**king scared to fight.
“He knows he squeaked out by the hair on his chinny chin, chin; a lot of people thought he lost the fight. He got saved by the ropes.
“Man, s**t, if I was him, maybe I’d just run off into the wind, as well.

“But if he’s sitting there acting like that’s not why we’re doing the fight, he’s a f*****g liar.”
Woodley is desperate to settle the score with the younger Paul brother but admits the ball is well and truly not in his court.
He added: “I can’t make another man fight me.
“At the end of the day, I’m not going to beg another man to fight me.
“But if you’re looking at a prizefighting sport that’s talking about me making money, me and Jake might go down as having the fourth overall pay-per-view.
“Nobody wants to watch no damn Tommy Fury. They saw us fight already, there’s some controversy.
“It sounds like he’s just f**king scared to fightTyron Woodley on Jake Paul moving on from a potential rematch
    “Some people thought I won.
“Some people thought there was controversy that I haven’t even brought up yet, that we were like, ‘Ah, that wasn’t in the original agreement.’ I still feel like it’s unresolved.
“This is the beginning of a trilogy, and no other fight option that he has is going to do what we did with just organic drama.”
Paul’s sights are currently set on a bout with UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal, a contest that was recently shut down by president Dana White.
The YouTuber recently issued an ultimatum of the UFC big-wig, writing on Twitter: ‘”Anderson’s out… JAKE JAKE JAKE.’
“I want your star talent. Your ‘in their prime’ strikers so I can exploit their lack of Boxing ability.
    Jake Paul’s boxing ‘hit-list’
“So let’s do this. Me vs. Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Serrano vs. Amanda Nunes…
“If we win, you let any of your fighters fight me going forward.
“If we lose, I leave you and your exploitative business alone. DANA…DANA…DANA?”

And Eubank Jr will jump at the opportunity to face GGG if the Tokyo tussle falls apart.
He told The Daily Mail: “He’s a great champion whose been in my sights a long time and who I would be proud to fight.
“He says he wants to fight again in England and he and I would pack a football stadium.
“He doesn’t have any other options as good as that unless Canelo Alvarez wants to fight him again. Which looks doubtful.”
A long-awaited rematch with bitter rival Billy Joe Saunders is also on Eubank Jr’s radar.

He said: “That rat deserves a beating from me.
“That’s what he’ll get if and when he comes back from quitting against Canelo this summer the first time he was hurt.
“The history of our animosity will fill the Amex Stadium in Brighton to see him swallow against me the way he did against Canelo.”
Saunders, 32, is currently licking his wounds from his eighth-round TKO defeat to pound-for-pound king Canelo in May.
But he is open to sharing the ring with Eubank Jr again, telling talkSPORT: “I know it is a fan’s fight really.
“It’s not really a fight where I would look or need to take.

“I’m financially secure, done it all, ticked all the boxes from Southern Area to two-weight world champion.
“So it’s a fight that would interest me if the money was right and I would do it more for the fans than anything.
“I’ve got kids now and I’ve secured their future, but put them on a path and give them a bit of time rather than gloves and a ring.”

Wilder, 35, was stopped by Fury in their rematch last February but came up with a number of farfetched excuses for his first professional loss.
And ahead of their Sin City series decider, the American has made reference to Fury’s failed drug test following his February 2015 victory over Christian Hammer.
He told 78SPORTSTV: “Look at Tyson Fury’s rap sheet, he’s one of the biggest cheats in boxing, but do you ever hear about it?
    “They don’t care.
“When it’s all said and done, all over for me, I can look myself in the face, in the mirror and say, ‘I did it the right way.”
Fury, 33, tested positive for the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone following his eighth-round TKO victory over Germany’s Hammer.

Following a long and drawn out case with UK Anti-Doping, The Gyspy King was suspended for two years in December 2017 – though his period of ineligibility was backdated to February 2015.
Wilder has been vocal about the use of performance-enhancing drugs in the sport, adding: “All these fighters taking these PEDs, you’re cowards.
“It’s pitiful… It’s all about money, boxing’s all about money.
“It seems the people that have power in boxing don’t care either because they’re making excuses for these cowards.”
The third instalment of Fury vs Wilder was due to take place in July but ended up being postponed as the former caught Covid-19.
And Wilder believes the Brit could end up pulling out their clash again.
Look at Tyson Fury’s rap sheet, he’s one of the biggest cheats in boxing.Deontay Wilder on Tyson Fury
He said: “If he don’t show up he’s going to have to suffer the consequences, the penalties that’ve been set forth.
“If he don’t fight, then pay me what you’re supposed to pay me.
“Then you have to give up that belt as well.
    “So it’s a win-win situation for me, it’s a lose-lose situation for him.
“That’s the great thing about it cause, the saying has always said that history repeats itself.
“We know his actions are always the same, he’s done this many of times where he tries to get out of fights.
How Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack up ahead of the trilogy fight
“He has had a door to escape from. But at this moment in time he has no more doors, no options.
“He has to put up or shut up, fight or retire. Either fight and give me my money or give up that belt.
“It’s a win-win situation for me and with that being said I can sleep at night.”

And YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul intends to ease the pain of Joshua vs Fury collapsing by lacing up his gloves again before year’s end.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, he said: “I think boxing needs me to fight again this year.
“A lot of big fights aren’t happening because of Covid. They can’t make Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury.
“So I think boxing needs me to fight again and I feel a responsibility to help this sport grow.”
Former Disney star Paul was last in action in August against ex-UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

Paul – along with his older brother Logan – has divided opinion in the boxing world, with many believing they’re making a mockery of the sport.
But unified heavyweight champ Joshua – who is gearing up for a showdown with Oleksandr Usyk – disagrees with that notion, saying of Jake: “[He’s] great for boxing.
“He’s trying, zero amateur experience, throwing himself in the deep end.
“He’ll probably learn a lot more than a lot of fighters, throwing himself in the deep end, putting himself under pressure.
    “Good luck to him.”
I think boxing needs me to fight again this year.Jake Paul
Fury shares Joshua’s opinion, telling iFL TV: “A lot of people say all this YouTube stuff is crap and they don’t want to see all these people in boxing.
“But I’m the heavyweight champion and the best fighter that has ever lived and I like to see these YouTubers fight.
“I like to see it because it brings millions more eyes to my sport where I’m the master at.
“And just like general people, who would never watch boxing, watch it because of the YouTube guys, Love Island and TikTokers.
“The more eyes to boxing the better and it makes it better for the young fighters coming through.

“If there are millions of people watching TikTokers and stuff then they might tune in again and watch some real boxing later on in life.
“It’s all good, it’s all PR work for our sport. Anyone who doesn’t like it is just jealous because they ain’t making the money they are getting.
“That’s what it’s about – jealousy. There’s a lot of jealousy in this world, especially people hating on others trying to follow their dreams and don’t have the guts to follow their own.”

Tyson Fury says Anthony Joshua is so ripped he looks like a ‘chicken nugget’ and admits he’s jealous of rival’s body

TYSON FURY has labelled Anthony Joshua a ‘chicken nugget’ as he took aim at his heavyweight rival’s chiseled physique. The two Brits looked set to clash in an undisputed fight during the summer before an arbitrator ruled that Fury had to take on Deontay Wilder for a third time – a dust-up that will now take place on October 9 in Las Vegas.
Fury was talking about Joshua to Gary Neville on The OverlapCredit: Youtube – The Overlap
The Gypsy King has admitted he is jealous of Joshua’s physique
Meanwhile, Joshua is concentrating on WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk, who he will face at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25.
Yet despite their respective fights drawing closer, that has not stopped them from taking aim at one another.
Joshua has blamed Fury for being the reason behind their clash collapsing, an opinion that was put to the WBC champion.
Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, Fury joked: “Yeah, I backed out and I admit it. I’m scared of him.
“I fought the best men in the world in their prime and beat them, but I’m scared of this plum.
“I’m gonna call him a chicken nugget, just because he’s ripped and I’m jealous.”

Fury and AJ will look to fight one another if they come through Wilder and Usyk.
Wilder recently accused Fury of faking Covid in order to postpone their bout from July to October.
The Brit was forced to delay the trilogy fight after testing positive for coronavirus, something the American still refuses to believe.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV, Wilder said: “So many have died of COVID.
“To hear others using this as an excuse is just horrible. May they burn in hell for that.
“They contradict themselves so many times, it’s just ridiculous at this point.”

The pair fought to a controversial draw back in December 2018 in Los Angeles, a clash many felt Fury won after he climbed off the canvas in a dramatic 12th round.
They then went their separate ways with two fights apiece before getting back into the ring with one another 14 months later in Las Vegas.
And this time Fury was able to decisively rip the belt away from Wilder as he dominated the American, eventually stopping him in the seventh round.
