Fury’s dad John, 57, wants to KO Mike Tyson and claims he’s in better shape than icon despite ‘looking fat as a pig’

JOHN FURY has revealed he wants to KO Mike Tyson – even claiming he’s in better shape than the ripped boxing legend.Iron Mike, 55, was subject to much speculation before his fight against Roy Jones Jr.

Mike Tyson got himself into great shape ahead of his fight with Roy Jones Jr
One fight he was linked with was against Tyson Fury’s dad – with John even calling out the American and saying he was ‘willing to DIE’ to beat him.
And Fury Snr revealed last June that while he may have looked ‘as fat as a pig’, he would win because he’s ‘lived cleaner’.
Tyson weighed in at a lean, mean 17st after a stunning body transformation as he prepared to step back into the ring.
Shannon Briggs and reigning WBA champion Tyson Fury himself were also linked with a Tyson scrap.
But he’s no match for 18st 7lbs John Fury – who named his world heavyweight champion son after Iron Mike – according to the man himself.
John said: “Listen, I’d like to have a go. You know, at the end of the day, I named my son after him, it would be a good thing.

“But I know one thing, he’ll be in no better shape than me.
“I tell you what it is, I’ve got the edge in shape because I’ve lived better, I’ve lived cleaner.
“Tyson, yeah, he was a great, great champion, probably one of the best there’s ever been.
“If anyone is going to come close to beating Tyson [Fury] in this era, that’s him.
“Mike Tyson has got a better chance than Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua at 53 years old.”
John Fury continued by saying he was eager to get into the ring with Tyson – and warned the former champ not to be fooled by his figure.
He continued: “But listen I’d like to have a go, because I’m big and strong and game and that’s all you need to be.
“He’s past his best. And me? The edge I’ve got is I’ve lived right.
    “I don’t drink, don’t smoke, I don’t do things I shouldn’t do and I train every day.
“Listen, we’re not body beautifuls. I look as fat as a pig but I can run ten miles – no problem, today.
“And I’m training all the time, and I’m fit and strong and game. And I’ve got a good heart.
“So if he knocks me out he knocks me out, but I’ll try and knock him out, let’s put it that way.
“I’ll give my all. I’ll do the very best I can. I won’t be afraid to get in the ring, I won’t be beat before I’ve started. I’m going to give it my best shot.”
John went on to say that, with some coaching from son Tyson and his team, he’d happily step into the ring against TWO Iron Mikes.
    Fury Snr, now 57, continued: “I’m 18st 7lbs, I’m 55-years-old but I’m in great shape.
“Don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t take nothing I shouldn’t do and I eat very, very well.
I’d get in with TWO Mike Tysons!John Fury
“Plus I’ve got him [Tyson Fury] to train me. I’ve got the best son in the world…
“And if I start sparring with him, and big Shane and my Hughie and Tommy, I’ve got a good chance of beating anybody with that kind of backing.
“With that kind of team, I’d get in with two Mike Tysons!”

Tyson Fury ‘MANIPULATED’ scales at weigh-in for Wilder fight claim expert onlookers and actually LIGHTER than last time

TYSON FURY has been accused of ‘manipulating’ the scales during his weigh-in with Deontay Wilder to hide his true weight. The Gypsy King took to the scales with his American rival late last night ahead of their Las Vegas trilogy fight on Sunday morning.
Tyson Fury weighed in at 277lbs for his trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder – but was carrying extra weight
The Brit weighed in three stone heavier than Wilder, who tipped the scales at 238lbs
But David Haye and Steve Bunce believe The Gypsy King hid his true weightCredit: BT SPORT
Fury, who didn’t shed any of his clobber, tipped the scales at 277lbs, while Wilder weighed a career-heavy 238lbs.
But former heavyweight champ David Haye reckons his fellow Brit kept his gear on to keep his real weight a secret.
During BT Sport’s live coverage of the weigh-ins, the Hayemaker said: “You can’t take anything from Tyson Fury’s weigh-in there.
“He had his trainers, hat, his trackies, he could’ve had money in his pocket.
“His wallet, phone, you don’t know. what he’s got in his pocket.”
He added: “It’s manipulation. He said he wanted to come in at 300lbs, that’s what he said. He’s turned up and he’s heavy.”

BETTING SPECIAL: GET 30/1 ON FURY OR 50/1 ON WILDER FOR HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING CLASH
Boxing pundit Steve Bunce agreed with Haye, and pointed out that if correct, Fury and Wilder are closer in weight than in any of their three fights.
He said: “I’m not buying Tyson Fury’s weight.
“He had his trainers on. [And] as David said, a really expensive-looking hat.
“He had on his full kit, he obviously had his phone or something in his pocket.
“It says 19st 11lbs, but I think he was probably closer to about 19st 3/4 or 5lbs.
“That means he’s had a bit of a meal this afternoon or this morning.
“Because he looked good. He looked good.”
You can’t take anything from Tyson Fury’s weigh-in there.David Haye
Big Daddy Bunce added: “According to those weights, this is the least amount of weight advantage that Tyson Fury has had now in the three fights.
“The first fight, he was 44lbs heavier, the second fight he was 42lbs heavier and I calculate he’s 39lbs heavier this time.
“But, he’s not. If you take 9lbs of that away, that means they’re down to within two stone of each other.”
Fury is brimming with confidence having stopped Wilder in seven rounds last time out and is eyeing an even better performance in their second Sin City showdown.
He said: “This means totally obliteration of a dosser, total annihilation.
“Two hundred and seventy-seven pounds, I’m going to put him the royal infirmary after this.

Paris Fury in Las Vegas for Tyson fight but reveals pain of being a ‘boxing wife’ and how she will be ‘totally sick’

TYSON FURY’S wife Paris has opened up about the “nerve-wracking” moments leading to her husband’s fight with Deontay Wilder.Tyson and Wilder complete their trilogy tonight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with the Bronze Bomber seeking revenge for his loss to the British superstar last year.

Their first fight in 2018 ended in a controversial draw as many argued the Gyspsy King deserved the win before getting his hand raised two years later.
Paris attended her husband’s most recent fight with the American bruiser and shared a photo of her embracing him after the final bell on Instagram.
She opened up about the challenges of being a “boxing wife” as she claims the day of the fight is always so stressful that she feels “totally sick”.
Paris posted: “We’re here in Las Vegas and we’re starting to get ready for Tyson’s big fight with Deontay Wilder on Saturday.
“The lead up to a big fight is always a pretty nerve-wracking time but it’s a big moment and I’d always rather be sitting ringside and watching with the family rather than watching at home on TV.
“This photo is from Tyson’s previous fight with Deontay.
BETTING SPECIAL: GET 30/1 ON FURY OR 50/1 ON WILDER FOR HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING CLASH

“I know coming out to Vegas sounds incredibly glamorous but being a ‘boxing wife’ on match day is a weird mix of being surrounded by a huge buzz and feeling totally sick – it’s so hard to watch your husband go through it – but I know being in the ring is what Tyson loves.
“Choosing an outfit for ringside and getting ready is always a big part of it for me, usually mix of high street and something a bit special is my usual look – I’ve brought quite a few options over with me so I can decide on the day.
“The main thing is I’m there to support Tyson and one of the things I do is eat the same breakfast as him on the morning of the fight so he doesn’t have to see me eating a bacon sandwich while he has his porridge!
“There’s loads more on what it’s like leading up to a huge fight like this in Love and Fury, my book coming 28th October.”

Anthony Joshua told to ‘get rid’ of all his trainers and ‘change’ tactics for Usyk rematch by promoter Frank Warren

ANTHONY JOSHUA has been urged to axe his entire coaching team following his devastating loss to Oleksandr Usyk. The Watford warrior saw his hopes of a blockbuster Battle of Britain with Tyson Fury shattered by the slick southpaw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month.

And Frank Warren reckons the Brit should ditch his entire team for the rematchCredit: PA
AJ, 31, is set to rematch the undefeated Ukrainian next year, but Fury’s promoter Frank Warren reckons he should do so with a new team around him.
The Queensberry Promotions chief told SecondsOut: “Should he fight him [Usyk] again? If he does what he does last time, I don’t see him beating him.
“Even then, I think Usyk will get more out of that win than Joshua.
“I just don’t see what Joshua can do any different to win that fight other than get rid of all the trainers around him and try change what he’s doing. Will he do that?”
Warren was surprised by Usyk’s ability to out-jab the taller and more powerful Joshua.
He added: “I said if Usyk’s there at the end he’ll win on points. What I didn’t expect was the way he won.

BETTING SPECIAL: GET 30/1 ON FURY OR 50/1 ON WILDER FOR HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING CLASH
“I really thought that AJ would have come out and pose his physical attributes more, his jab, his size, which he didn’t.
“I thought as far as Usyk was concerned I thought he’d have to roll under him, get underneath his jab and work inside.
“He didn’t do that, he was outjabbing the guy with the longer reach and the bigger guy.
“I was quite shocked at that. He hurt him in the fight. He wobbled him early on and certainly in the last round I think the bell saved him, he would have been stopped otherwise.
“There was no debate about how he got beat, he got beat.”
Joshua’s shot at revenge against his fellow London 2012 Olympian is currently being targeted for the spring.
Promoter Eddie Hearn told The BBC: “We will formally announce the rematch in due course and start planning with K2 Promotions – March or April is sensible for the rematch.”

“You’ve done it twice already, you know how to get the job done.
“You’re gonna make it three times. And my God, Wilder better go into hiding after the beating you’re gonna give him.

“And then, you and I, back to business. Because we’ve got a stadium to sell out down the line, brother.”

The recently-retired Undertaker said: “Hey champ, it’s The Undertaker from the WWE, man.
“I just wanted to reach out and wish you good luck on tomorrow night’s fight.
“Not that you need it, you’ve already smashed this guy real and properly. And I have no doubt that you’re going to do it again.
“But I just wanted you to know I’m gonna be watching and I want to see you drop this guy one more time.”

Tommy Fury insists his ‘invincible’ brother Tyson can ‘easily beat’ Anthony Joshua in brutal putdown

Meanwhile, Fury was ordered by a court to face off against Deontay Wilder for a third time, scuppering plans for the ‘Battle of Britain’.
But former Love Island star Tommy reckons any potential fight they might have will be the ‘easiest’ of his brother’s professional career.
He told The Daily Mail: ‘It’s definitely going to be a good fight but I’ve always said, from day one, it will be his easiest fight and I have no doubt about that.
“Joshua is tailor-made for Tyson, what a great build-up it’s going to be and what a great fight.”
Fury claimed the WBC title in 2020 with a scintillating seventh round TKO of then-champion Deontay Wilder.
But Tommy reckons Wilder is a far tougher opponent than AJ.
When asked if he thinks a fight with Joshua will be easier for The Gypsy King than his fights with Wilder, he added: “Yes, by a mile.
“Wilder would have knocked out Joshua within two or three rounds.
“I know it’s heavyweight boxing and you can never say never, but there is nothing in that fight against Joshua that worries me for Tyson, especially like the Tyson I’ve seen now.
“He can walk through walls, he’s invincible and it’s going to take some man to beat him and I haven’t seen him being born yet. To beat Tyson, you’re going to have to kill him.
“The only way you’re beating him is if you knock him out cold and he’s already been hit by the biggest puncher that’s ever lived.
“So how’s Joshua going to do it? He isn’t, so I think it’s going to be a very easy night for him.”

Tyson shares his brother’s confidence about any potential fight, telling Sky Sports before AJ’s loss to Usyk: “I don’t think he is as good as people talk him up to be.
“And I don’t believe he believes it himself, I think he has a confidence issue after two shaky performances and boxing is all about form.
“On his last two fights he is not in form and, on my last two, I am.
“Momentum is with me and, because of that, I believe I take him out early, very early, maybe inside one or two rounds.”

Tyson Fury lists Deontay Wilder’s 26 ‘excuses’ the Bronze Bomber made after epic loss, including ‘voodoo magic’

TYSON FURY launched a scathing attack on Deontay Wilder, mocking the excuses the American came out with after their rematch last year.Their trilogy fight takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Ahead of the eagerly-anticipated bout, Fury, 33, took aim at Wilder on social media.
And in the dig at the Olympian, a fired-up Fury listed all the excuses The Bronze Bomber made after losing their second fight.
An excerpt of the post read: “No excuses… but: Costume was too heavy. Fury’s gloves were loaded.
“I had weak legs. My water was spiked. Fury’s gloves had no padding. Had bicep surgery.
“I was a zombie. Disloyal trainer. Complications in camp.”
The post also included a number of conspiracy theories peddled by Wilder, including the 35-year-old’s claim that Fury had ‘egg weights’ in his gloves.
Fury blasted ‘reptile’ and ‘joke’ Wilder after he initially demanded £14million to fight for a third time.
The Wythenshawe boxer was originally set to fight Anthony Joshua, until a court ordered he would have to fight Wilder first.

However, Fury’s dream payday in taking on Anthony Joshua appeared to go up in flames last month.
AJ was outclassed by Oleksandr Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, losing his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles.
Joshua has already exercised his right for a rematch with the Ukrainian, which Fury wants to train his rival for.

Fury told FOX Sports Australia: “I believe that if I trained Anthony Joshua for the fight with Usyk, then he’d definitely win the fight.
“I’m offering my services to him – for me to train him for his rematch. And I guarantee he would win.
“I’d get him to fight like a big man.”
