Tyson Fury jokes Tommy’s rival Jake Paul ‘better keep girlfriend Julia Rose on a LEASH because big T’s in town’

TYSON FURY has warned Jake Paul to keep his girlfriend on a ‘LEASH’ when the Fury’s fly stateside for Tommy to take on the YouTube sensation. Paul vs Fury is scheduled for December 18 in Miami, with Tyson set to be ringside to cheer on his younger brother.

And he has aimed a vile dig at Paul’s girlfriend Rose in the build-up the eight-round bout.
Fury, who this month took two women on a wild eight-hour booze bender told iFL TV: “He better keep his girlfriend on a leash because you know when big T’s in town,” as he flexed his biceps.
“F****** they’re not safe! Lock up your women and hide your men because we’re coming to Florida. Well I am anyway.”
Tyson is crossing the Atlantic one again after sensationally knocking out Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas last month.
He then headed straight out to a Sin City nightclub and was seen having the time of his life as he hosted a wild after-party.
And The Gypsy King is eyeing another fun-filled trip to the States when half-brother Tommy takes on Paul a week before Christmas.
Tyson’s recent outburst is not the first time the Fury’s have aimed a dig at Paul’s partner Rose.
In Wednesday’s press conference Tommy was left with his head in his hands after dad John made a vile sexual remark.

He shockingly said: “You know when Tommy knocks you out he’s going to bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog, in front of you.”
Paul and Rose went official with their relationship in early 2020 with an Instagram post.
It came after the couple met on the set of his music video for These Days.
The 26-year-old Instagram model is often seen attending his boxing fights and is best known for being the ‘World Series Flasher’.
In 2019 Julia, along with her friend Lauren Summer, both lifted their shirts to flash Houston Astros pitcher Gerrit Cole.
Both women have been banned for life from attending any future baseball matches in the US.

Mike Tyson accepts Malawi government’s invite to become country’s official cannabis ambassador

MIKE TYSON has accepted an invitation to become Malawi’s official cannabis ambassador. The former world heavyweight champion, 55, has been selling cannabis products since 2016 through his Tyson Holistic label.
Tyson has documented his love for cannabis for many years

But now he is set to become the face of the drug in Malawi after agreeing to the offer from Agriculture Minister Lobin Low.
Low said: “Malawi may not go it alone as the industry is complex [and requires] collaboration.
“I would therefore like to appoint you, Mr Mike Tyson, as Malawi’s Cannabis Branch ambassador.”
The deal is being facilitated by the United States Cannabis Association and the head of the Malawi branch, Wezi Ngalamila, confirmed to the BBC that Tyson had accepted the proposal.
Malawi are hoping the move will “rope in some investors and even potential buyers”.
It was announced recently that Tyson was launching a new company entitled Tyson 2.0.

Malawi have received a backlash in the wake of their partnership with TysonCredit: Instagram
The new venture is said to be “a step up from Iron Mike’s first cannabis brand, offering a wider array of products including everything from his personal favourite, flower, to concentrates, edibles, beverages, and pre-rolls”.
Last year Malawi, who grow a well-known strand of cannabis called Malawi gold, legalised the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes but it remains illegal recreationally.
But the country has received criticism from the Centre for Public Accountability – a Malawian civil society group – for bringing Tyson in to become their cannabis ambassador.
This is because he was convicted of rape in Indiana in 1992 before being released just three years later.
Kondwani Munthali, the acting director of the Centre for Public Accountability, said: “The CPA is failing to comprehend why Malawi would want to have a convicted rapist as its brand ambassador, more especially, at this time, when efforts to curb violence against women are part of the government agenda.”
Tyson, 54, is believed to earn around £500,000-per-month through his cannabis business that offers premium marijuana strains, edibles and extracts.
‘Iron Mike’ is also building a 418-acre weed-themed holiday resort he hopes will be home to a music festival that can rival Coachella, as well as the world’s longest lazy river.
And aside from a luxury hotel and the lure of ‘glamping’ tents, there will be a Tyson University on site that will aim to teach cannabis cultivation tips to wannabe farmers.

The ex-boxer confirmed to SunSport last month that he wants to see cannabis legalised in the UK.
He said: “Well I will tell you, once it is legalised in the UK, you wouldn’t have to worry about all these prescriptions drugs driving everybody nutty and committing suicide and all that stuff. That will stop immediately.
“Definitely half of it will be knocked out once the people from Great Britain get a chance to participate in what we are doing right now; the wonder medicine.” More

Anthony Joshua believes Deontay Wilder was destined to fail with jab-heavy approach in Tyson Fury trilogy

ANTHONY JOSHUA reckons Deontay Wilder was destined to fail with his jab-heavy approach for his trilogy fight with Tyson Fury. The Bronze Bomber stunned boxing fans across the world by repeatedly jabbing Fury to the body in their epic series decider last month.

But Anthony Joshua knew the former WBC champ would eventually falter with his approachCredit: PA
But fatigue eventually scuppered the American’s more measured approach to try and KO the Gypsy King.
Joshua was among those surprised to see Wilder repeatedly make use of the jab, which he believes modern heavyweights struggle to utilise for 12 straight rounds.
During a JD Sports round table, he said: “Not in this day and age [can heavyweights jab for 12 rounds] because heavyweights are different.
“I met the guy who makes gloves the other day, and he said that they never used to have to make special gloves.
“But now heavyweights are 17 to 19 stone and six-foot ten.
“The whole division is changed in the last, like, five years.

“And before, fighters could jab like that for 12 rounds and get away with it.
“They’d get a bit tired, but they were conditioned because they were lighter.
“But now, when you’ve got big guys [who are] six-foot-seven, they get tired.”
Joshua, 32, was impressed by Wilder’s early attempts to switch up his game plan.
But he believes the former WBC heavyweight champion lacked the mental strength to see the job through.
AJ said: “He tried, but to get that power and that ferociousness, you have to have it up here [points to his head].
“Before you have it just here [clenches fists] at that level, you have to have it here [points to his head] as well.”

Joshua is currently gearing up for a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, who ended his second reign as unified heavyweight champion in September.
And the Watford warrior plans to throw caution to the wind in the crunch clash by adopting the same approach he used in his 2017 classic with Wladimir Klitschko.

Jake Paul ‘wouldn’t sign up for’ voluntary drug testing for Tommy Fury grudge match claims irate dad John

Negotiations over the bout took longer than expected, with an irate John claiming an initial sticking point was Paul’s refusal to sign up for stringent testing by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association.
During a pre-fight interview with Rob Moore, John said: “There was all kinds of stuff in the contracts.
“There was all kinds of it, like, ‘You’ve got to change your name for a year. You’ve got to do this. You’ve got to do that.’
“He’s got to change his name to ‘Tommy Fumbles’ for a year. All rubbish on that.
“I could go into it more and more but I don’t want to bore people with politics. Do you know what I’m saying?…
“And like everything else, he wouldn’t sign up for the VADA testing either.”

Paul’s alleged refusal to commit to stringent VADA testing irked dotting dad John, although he insists he’s no longer ‘bothered’ by the decision.
He continued: “That bothered me a little bit because I want that in the contract. But he wouldn’t do that.
“But I’m not even bothered about that because what they’re going to do, they’re going to do anyway.
“So yeah, we just want the fight because we know we can win it.
“The people that think Tommy is getting paid to lose, they’re joking.”
Paul, 24, was drug tested after his split decision victory over Tyron Woodley in August.

And the social media star’s post-fight sample came back negative for any performance-enhancing drugs.
Paul was accused of using PEDS during the build-up to his narrow victory over Woodley, a notion that made him laugh.
He said: “Yeah so I woke up a couple of mornings ago and my manager sent me that headline and said, ‘Hey hope you see this’.
“So I first swiped up on my phone and typed in ‘what are PEDs’.
“This is honestly hilarious, how many excuses are they gonna make?
“People were saying ‘Ben Askren is going to beat Jake Paul’, ‘Nate Robinson is the betting favourite he is just a YouTuber’.

“They just know now that I am coming for their five-time UFC champion, I am gonna knock him out and they are trying to make up any excuse they possibly can.
“It’s a real professional fight with commissions and drug testing, so how are these people coming up with that?
“I am looking at it as a compliment as I am making light work of these people, and they are running out of excuses.”

The Watford warrior plans to throw caution to the wind in the crunch clash – with the same aggressive approach he used in his 2017 classic with the retired Klitschko.
During a JD Sports round table, he said: “I’m gonna bring that energy back. But I’m not gonna go into my training and all that.”
Joshua, 32, recorded a stunning 11th-round KO victory over Klitschko in front of a sold-out Wembley Stadium to become unified heavyweight champion.
And four years removed from his first coronation, the former champ has finally come to terms with the ‘war’ his showdown with Dr Steelhammer proved to be.
He admitted: “At the time, I didn’t know what type of fight it was.
“It’s only now I look back and I’m seeing, as you said, Wilder-Fury type fights and it’s a long time since we’ve had a fight like that. Since 2016.
    “It was a war.”

A date for Joshua’s second showdown with Usyk has yet to be finalised, although promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed the fight is in the works for the spring.
The Matchroom Boxing chief said: “I think it will be realistically end of March, early April.
“Both guys are probably resting, although AJ will be doing a bit more preparation because he wants to get it right.
“There was a well-documented trip to America, just to look really, look, learn and see.
“I think he will go back out there towards the end of the year.
“We will start talking to Team Usyk over the next couple of weeks and pin down the venue.”

Joshua is determined to settle the score with his fellow Olympic gold medallist, telling iFL TV: “For me, I have one thing in my mind – that’s war, that’s murder, that’s to go out there and hurt the guy and take his soul to the point where he wants to give up.
“I’m done with f***ing losing. I’m done with trying to learn the sweet science. He might get thrown on the floor in the next fight because this is war.

Tyson Fury rules out Dillian Whyte or Joe Joyce fights and is ‘only interested’ in Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk

TYSON FURY has ruled out fighting Dillian Whyte or Joe Joyce – as he is ‘only interested’ in Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk. Fury is looking to return in February, having brutally knocked out Deontay Wilder in their trilogy bout at the end of October.

Just two weeks before, Usyk dethroned Joshua – who has since invoked his right to an immediate rematch next year.
It leaves Fury’s chances of fighting for all four undisputed belts slim and instead looking for another opponent in the meantime.
Whyte, 33, and Joyce, 35, have both put their names forward, but the Gypsy King only has his eyes on Joshua, 32, and Usyk, 34.
Fury, 33, told iFL TV: “I always said I’m only interested in two fights, Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk.
“Apart from that, I’m not interested. If I don’t get them fights, not interested.”
Joshua is set to rematch Usyk by April, which would still be two months after Fury’s planned return in February.

And unless he is willing to sit and wait, he would be forced to find an alternative option, with AJ stepping aside out of the question.
Whyte is the WBC interim champion and in turn mandatory challenger for the full title.
But his prior legal case with the WBC, to speed up his much-earned shot at the belt, has actually prevented his fight with Fury from being ordered.
The unbeaten champ already insisted he will now sit and wait through another drawn out dispute, like he did with Wilder, 36, over the summer.
So Joyce, currently mandatory for the WBO belt, offered his services against ex-sparring partner Fury.
But the man himself doubled down on only wanting Joshua or Usyk and does not even want to entertain other options.
Fury said: “We’ll find out February, but today’s only November, so a lot can happen in a few months.”

But the WBC heavyweight champion has no intention of sharing the cage with The Maverick, telling iFL TV: “Logan can suck my balls.”
Fury’s and Paul’s younger brothers – Tommy and Jake – are currently gearing up for a December dust-up in Florida.
And Fury is confident Tommy would do a number on the social media phenoms in the same night.
He added: “Tommy would batter them both.

Fury – who is recovering from surgery on his elbows – is looking forward to travelling back to the States to corner his brother.
He said: “We’re looking forward to getting out there and having a good party on.”
Jake, 24, has made his feud with Tommy a personal one with several comments about his long-term girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
And Fury is itching to land a big right hand flush on the American’s jaw.
The 33-year-old said: “I know how good Tommy is. I’ve seen him knock people spark out in the gym every day. He’s a real banger.
“And when gets one shot on Logan Paul (Jake), he’ll be kissing the canvas. Goodnight Vienna. Bye, bye.
“I want a big, old, dirty knockout like Tommy keeps talking about.”
Tommy plans to spank The Problem Child in double-quick time, saying: “After our last fights on the same card, I rocked up with four people to his after-party.

“I saw him and what did he do? He didn’t [do anything].

But he seemed to have taken some time off fight-prep to cosy down and enjoy a movie on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old treated himself to some well-deserved down time following a hectic last few weeks.
After spectacularly knocking out Deontay Wilder last month Fury was straight back into action for Tommy’s training camp.
Although the 6ft9in heavyweight champ seemingly wasn’t down for long as he was back out-and-about on Wednesday.

The cold seems to be going around the camp as promoter Frank Warren revealed the 22-year-old has been feeling under the weather.
Warren told iFL TV: “Tommy had a little bit of a cold but hopefully he is going to be ok.
“We are up in Morecambe [on Wednesday] so hopefully we will know more then, but he is up for it and he wants to fight.
“He can’t wait for the fight and I know certainly from Jake’s perspective he can’t wait for the fight.”

It’s expected the elder Fury will be ringside for the Paul fight next month.
He’s heaped pressure on his younger brother by warning Tommy that he will have to CHANGE his name if he is beaten by YouTuber turned boxer Paul.
Fury fans though will be confident their man can get the job done after leaked footage has shown him displaying some slick defensive skills
