      But the WBC’s ordering of a Battle of Britain between title-holder Fury and Dillian Whyte has all but paved the way for AJ to rematch his conqueror early next year.
      Matchroom Boxing chief Hearn wrote in his BBC column: “There’s been lots of talk about Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.
      “Rumours of a step aside offer for Joshua are exaggerated. His focus has always been on rematching Usyk.
      “If there was a conversation to be had we’d have it, but the announcement from the WBC makes that virtually impossible.
      “Dillian is now Fury’s mandatory, it’s been a long time coming.”
      Negotiations over the long-awaited showdown of former sparring partners Fury and Whyte – which was mandated earlier this month – are currently ongoing.

      But both parties are going back and forth over the pair’s respective splits of the lucrative purse.
      Hearn said: “We await official confirmation of the split for that fight, but it’s almost nailed on we will see Fury v Whyte in the spring of 2022.”
      AJ suffered a lopsided points defeat to Usyk in their September showdown at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is hellbent on exacting revenge on the slick southpaw.
      He told iFL TV: “I have one thing in my mind, that’s war, that’s murder, that’s war, let’s go out there and hurt the guy.

      “Take his soul to the point where he wants to give up. That’s what boxing’s about, I’ve learned that.
      “You hit people constantly, keep on applying a certain amount of pressure, before they know it they’ll realise you aren’t going anywhere, you’re here to stay.
      “With the game plan, that’s all I have in my mind at the minute, that one track, stay on course, take this guy to places he doesn’t want to go.”

      ‘Some massive fights next year’ – Tyson Fury shares five-fight wish-list including Joshua double-header but NO Usyk

      TYSON FURY has revealed his five-fight wishlist including TWO showdowns with British rival Anthony Joshua.The Gypsy King fought just once in 2021, stopping American Deontay Wilder in the 11th round of their trilogy clash to retain his WBC title.

      And he has now confirmed the four fights he would like to follow that up with next year.
      Fury posted a graphic showing the fights he wants – which started with the Wilder trilogy which he won in October.
      He then lists WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte as his next viable opponent.
      Then comes two fights with Joshua – a man he looked set to face this year before Wilder won an arbitration hearing to secure a third bout with Fury.
      And rounding off the five-fight plan is another trilogy – this time with Derek Chisora.
      Fury has already beaten Chisora on two occasions in the past – by unanimous decision in 2011 and then by stoppage in 2014.

      Alongside the post on Twitter, he said: “Looking forward to some massive fights next year @WBCBoxing.”
      One huge omission from the WBC champ’s list was former undisputed cruiserweight king and unified heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk.
      Usyk, who Fury met and embraced last weekend, dethroned Joshua to claim the IBF, WBA and WBO straps with a unanimous decision victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.
      The Ukrainian, 34, looks set to rematch AJ in the early part of 2022.
      And, providing he comes through him again, there is a hope among boxing fans that he will then take on Fury for all the belts – assuming Fury beats mandatory challenger Whyte.
      But Usyk has not made Fury’s fight wish list, so there is doubt as to whether the Gypsy King is interested in a clash.

      The duo shared a high-five before embracing and exchanging a few words.

      Tentative talks to do so had started, until the WBC officially ordered Fury to defend his title against mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
      Fury’s promoters Arum and Frank Warren have now started negotiations with Whyte, which will end any hope of a unification bout next.
      Arum had previously revealed that a fight between Fury and Usyk could take place in Saudi Arabia in March.
      Those plans have now been shelved though with Fury instructed to fight Whyte next.
      A bout between the British pair is expected for February or March 2022.
      It gives the Gypsy King the perfect chance to fight in the UK for the first time since 2018, having boxed his last five fights in America.

      At first though Fury, 33, didn’t realise Usyk, 34, was behind him as he unknowingly smiled alongside promoter Bob Arum.
      The Ukrainian flexed his muscles behind the Gypsy King, before quickly ducking out of shot.
      Fury then spun round and clocked Anthony Joshua’s conquerer.
      The duo shared a high-five before embracing and exchanging a few words.
      Fury, having knocked out Deontay Wilder in October, previously revealed he wanted to fight Usyk for the undisputed crown.
      But with Joshua already contracted to a rematch with the Ukrainian, he would have needed a fee to step aside.

      Tentative talks to do so had started, until the WBC officially ordered Fury to defend his title against mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
      Fury’s promoters Arum and Frank Warren have now started negotiations with Whyte, which will end any hope of a unification bout next.
      Arum had previously revealed that a fight between Fury and Usyk could take place in Saudi Arabia in March.
      Those plans have now been shelved though with Fury instructed to fight Whyte next.
      A bout between the British pair is expected for February or March 2022.
      It gives the Gypsy King the perfect chance to fight in the UK for the first time since 2018, having boxed his last five fights in America. More

      TYSON FURY posted family snaps on Instagram, with a cheeky caption for his wife Paris.Photos show the couple relaxing on holiday with three-month-old baby daughter Athena, as the Gypsy King tells Paris, 32, to ‘smile mummy’.

      Fury followed up by posting two more photographs of the family.
      One of the happy couple soaking in the pool together.
      The other of Fury looking like a proud father, holding Athena.
      He captioned the pic: “Me and baby Fina. Blessed.”
      The heavyweight champ’s daughter spent over a week in intensive care after he and wife Paris welcomed their sixth child into the world on August 8.
      But she seems well now as the Fury clan enjoy their break.
      It is unknown where the photos are taken but facetious Fury tagged the photo at ‘Yo Mommas House’.

      “Championship boxing is a mindset, it is not about who trains the hardest or who lifts the heaviest weights, you have to enjoy yourself.
      “If you don’t enjoy yourself then the sport becomes too serious and you end up losing.
      “I have often had 15 pints before 15 rounds of sparring and still smashed f*** out of somebody, if I am lying then God can strike me down.
      “I remember one night I had 14 pints of Fosters and then sparred three top-ten heavyweights – and battered them all – that’s because I don’t take it all too seriously.”
