And he braved an ice bath with pal Chris Casey this past weekend in order to help his body recover from his training punishing session.
Joshua shared Casey’s clip of them entering ice baths in a garden with his 13.4million Instagram followers on Sunday night via his story.
The clip shows the pair enjoying a laugh before going outside to get into the baths.
Neither man showed any reservations as they stepped into the freezing cold water with absolutely no hesitation.
Athletes often use ice baths as the cold water aids muscle recovery and helps to boost their metabolism and immune systems.
Joshua, 32, is currently gearing up for a high-stakes rematch with new unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

AJ was turned over by the slick southpaw in their Tottenham tussle last September, suffering a lopsided points defeat.
A date for their eagerly-anticipated rematch has yet to be finalised, although SunSport understands the bout will likely be staged in May or June.
Joshua has removed Rob McCracken from his role as head coach for the crunch rematch but has yet to reveal the identity of his new lead trainer.
But promoter Eddie Hearn insists will be revealed when the Watford warrior officially enters training camp.
He recently told DAZN: “AJ will do that himself in due course when camp starts, there’s been training in the US, there’s been training in the UK.
“He’s, he’s got a good idea in his mind now what his team will look like for that training camp.

FRANK WARREN insisted that Eddie Hearn has ‘nothing to do with’ Tyson Fury’s fight with Dillian Whyte. Promoter Warren won the rights to stage the British grudge match with a historic £30.6million offer.

Whyte is not officially signed to Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing banner, instead working together on a fight-by-fight basis.
It means it remains unclear how much involvement he will have in representing the heavyweight contender.
But Warren claimed Hearn, who failed with a £23.6m offer at the purse bids, will have no say in the fight and is instead dealing solely with Whyte’s legal team.
He told the Daily Star: “We are in contact with Whyte’s lawyer and are confident he will sign soon to face the Gypsy King.
“Why wouldn’t Whyte want to take this fight for the WBC heavyweight title?
“He’s getting paid a hell of a lot of money for it and it is his chance to fight for a major belt against the best on the planet.

“I’m not sure why interviewers keep asking Eddie Hearn for details about the fight as it has absolutely nothing to do with him.
“Unless Dillian tells us otherwise, Matchroom are not representing Whyte for this fight, and we will continue working on finalising everything through the parties Whyte wants, which is not Matchroom.
“If Matchroom wanted to be involved then they should have bid more money.”
With Fury entitled to 80 per cent of the cut, Hearn conceded the bid with Warren and promotional colleague Bob Arum winning the auction.
The promoter has now paid the ten per cent deposit of his bid, but contracts will not be officially signed until a date and venue are confirmed.
Warren said: “Work on the fantastic match-up of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte has been going on in earnest this week.
“The deposit has gone in and plans for the huge event are being finalised.
“We will announce the date and venue once all the details are ironed out so stay tuned.”

The Youth Olympics golden girl missed out on a medal at the summer Tokyo games but is being fast tracked to world title belts this year.
The opening round of her career flew by with flurries of punches chasing Masiokaite around the ring.
Dubois was so confident in her young reflexes and footwork that her guard was down by her waist for most of the stanza.
With women’s rounds still limited to just two minutes, knockouts are rare but Dubois did her absolute best to supply a surprise.
But veteran Masiokaite, 34, knew how to handle the range of blows that were coming her way in a blur.

AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn, who also oversees WBC mandatory Dillian Whyte, said: “We don’t trust Fury to turn up to one fight, let alone agree to two, three or four.
“AJ did not want to step aside and when Fury asked for a March fight he really did not want to step aside.
“We had to trust Fury to have a fight in March, then Usyk in June, AJ in December, then Dillian.
“I had to tell AJ that and he could not trust him.”
Fury insisted the plan was KO’d because AJ wanted a £15million step-aside fee upped to £20m.

But Hearn says the amount only changed when Team Fury moved the goalposts by asking for the March tune-up.
Fury and Whyte, 33, are now set to meet in April, followed by 35-year-old Usyk’s Joshua rematch. 
But Hearn added: “Just based on his track record, I won’t be surprised if Tyson pulls out.

And all that is left is confirming the date and venue before contracts can officially be signed.
Ex-champion Hatton, who formerly cornered Fury, hailed the domestic mega-fight, which finally ends Whyte’s 1,000-plus day wait for a world title crack.
He told The Metro: “I’m delighted for Dillian – the poor sod have been waiting for ever and a day for his chance.
“But I think it is a fight Tyson can make as hard or as easy as he wants. It all depends on how he comes out in those opening rounds.
“If Tyson tries to outbox him, he will do just that and could have a very comfortable night.
“But if he wants to go toe-to-toe and have a war, he is handing Dillian his best chance of winning that fight.”

Since Fury linked up with Sugarhill Steward – nephew to the legendary Emanuel – he has transitioned into an aggressive front-foot fighter.
But Hatton, 43, fears the powerhouse tactics which twice beat Deontay Wilder, 36, could suit Whyte down to the ground.
As a result, he urged Fury to sprinkle in the slick style that fans had been so accustomed to.
Hatton said: “A bit of the old Tyson Fury might be what is needed. Slow him down and break him down a bit. 
“We’ve seen what Alexander Povetkin and Anthony Joshua did to him, we know Whyte can be knocked down, we know he can be hurt.
“I just think if Tyson, especially early on in the fight, reverts to the old Tyson, utilising that movement, making his opponent fall short, leaning on him and letting him [Whyte] blow himself out a little bit, he’ll have an easier night.
“But if he goes into the trenches immediately like he has done in his last two fights against Wilder, it could be dangerous.
“Tyson performed incredibly well in those last two fights against Wilder. But I think a different game plan might be needed for this one.”

He suggested Fury might back out – prompting the Gypsy King to hit back in response.
Fury wrote on Twitter: “This man is a clown, you boys are the 1s that may not take the fight.
“Sign the contract big boy.”
It is not the first time Fury has looked to embarrass Hearn online, having mocked the promoter for losing out on the purse bid to Frank Warren.
And Warren, Fury’s promoter, has now paid the 10 per cent deposit for the purse bid, which was £30.6million.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed that news on Twitter, adding that next the two parties must agree a date and location before contracts are signed.
Fury revealed he will be returning to fight in the UK but a venue has not yet been decided.

Wembley has reportedly emerged as the frontrunner to host the bout, overtaking Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The two fighters also need to sign on the dotted line but have until February 21 to do so.
Hearn revealed on Thursday he is yet to receive the contracts, while also explaining why Whyte has been quiet since the fight was agreed.
He said: “As of this morning, we haven’t received a contract. That’s not unusual but we don’t have it.
“It’s a process you go through. Someone said to me I’ve gone quiet but I lost the purse bid, it’s not my fight to promote.
“He’s just chilled and training. There’s a way to deal with Fury and sometimes going on the quiet side is a decent.
“Do you really want to get in a slanging match with Fury and use all that energy? Do your work, do your training and go and try and knock him out.
