Paul, 25, has caused quite the stir over the last 14 months with his repeated social media attacks on UFC bigwig Dana White and MMA superstar Conor McGregor.
And the former Disney star has revelled in the reactions his antics have managed to draw from MMA fighters and boxers alike.
During an appearance on Eddie Hearn’s No Passion, No Point podcast, Paul said: “It’s a little bit of both but it starts with a genuine dislike.
“I told my team like I will never attack somebody unless it feels genuine, I will never really start something. All of the people that I attack 90 per cent of the people is in response.
“I’m not out there trying to create feuds, but I am definitely a troll naturally and I giggle when I post this stuff I find it hilarious.”
Problem Child Paul firmly believes he’s on course to revolutionise the fight game, which he’s likened to the world before the creation of Uber.

He continued: “I am definitely a disruptor, I think that is what my main talent is by shaking the tree.
“Boxing is like taxis and I am coming in with the Uber app.
“I am trying to come in and put the taxi’s out of business and change the way boxing is done.”
The divisive Paul hasn’t set foot inside the ring since his viral KO of former UFC champ Tyron Woodley last December.
His efforts are currently focused on promoting Amanda Serrano’s historic showdown with Katie Taylor in April, although he’s currently weighing up a September return to the ring.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour: “There’s a lot going on in other aspects of my life.
“I’m going to do these press conferences over the next two weeks here to help with the promotion around Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and I’m very busy on the business side of things with my venture capital fund.

“So I haven’t even got back into the gym or been training at all.
“I need to have a discussion with my coaches but probably I would say August-September maybe. Maybe later. I’m trying to figure it out.
“Obviously if the stars align in some sort of way or I have a change of heart, then things can obviously move around but right now I don’t feel like that motivated to just go right back into another training camp.”

The undefeated Beterbiev told SunSport: I disagree with your assessment that he is pretty much unbeatable.  
“It is not true. He lost to [Floyd] Mayweather, he had equal fights verses GGG [Gennady Golovkin].”
“With that said, Canelo is undoubtedly a good fighter, he has the technique, he works nicely on the ring, and he has a good punch.
“Of course, I will do my best to beat him, because he is not unbeatable.”

“I don’t consider myself worse than Mayweather or GGG as a fighter.
“So the result of our fight will show who is the best between the two of us.”
Beterbiev reckons a dust-up with the Guadalajara gladiator – who is on course to face WBA light-heavyweight champ Dmitry Bivol – would be a box-office smash.

He said: “I am sure that would be a mega-fight. It will be one of the huge events over the last years.”
Canelo’s ferocity was on full display in his consecutive stoppage victories over Anvi Yildirim, Saunders and Plant.
But Beterbiev doesn’t have the slightest concern about the punching power possessed by the four-weight world champion.

He said: “I think his technical side outweighs his physical force.
“His asset in the boxing is his thinking, he is a smart fighter.
“As for his punch power, I think there are fighters in our division who are stronger than him, who hit harder.
“I don’t follow up closely other fighters, but Canelo seems to be training hard and he gets what he wants.
“As for how I am going to beat him, I don’t want to reveal it to anyone.
“Generally speaking, I would be following the same guidelines I used in my previous fights.

However, Brit Hall suffered a detached bicep and the fight had to be postponed.
But now the stage is set for the heaviest fight in boxing history when the two rivals meet in the United Arab Emirates.
Hall weighs a whopping 157kg whereas Thor – who shot to global stardom playing Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane on Game of Thrones – comes in at 145kg.
The Icelandic superstar recently underwent an incredible body transformation as he previously weighed a hulking 205kg.
But Hall, 34, still likes his chances as he insists Thor, 33, will hit the canvas when they unleash hell against each other.

And he braved an ice bath with pal Chris Casey this past weekend in order to help his body recover from his training punishing session.
Joshua shared Casey’s clip of them entering ice baths in a garden with his 13.4million Instagram followers on Sunday night via his story.
The clip shows the pair enjoying a laugh before going outside to get into the baths.
Neither man showed any reservations as they stepped into the freezing cold water with absolutely no hesitation.
Athletes often use ice baths as the cold water aids muscle recovery and helps to boost their metabolism and immune systems.
Joshua, 32, is currently gearing up for a high-stakes rematch with new unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

AJ was turned over by the slick southpaw in their Tottenham tussle last September, suffering a lopsided points defeat.
A date for their eagerly-anticipated rematch has yet to be finalised, although SunSport understands the bout will likely be staged in May or June.
Joshua has removed Rob McCracken from his role as head coach for the crunch rematch but has yet to reveal the identity of his new lead trainer.
But promoter Eddie Hearn insists will be revealed when the Watford warrior officially enters training camp.
He recently told DAZN: “AJ will do that himself in due course when camp starts, there’s been training in the US, there’s been training in the UK.
“He’s, he’s got a good idea in his mind now what his team will look like for that training camp.

FRANK WARREN insisted that Eddie Hearn has ‘nothing to do with’ Tyson Fury’s fight with Dillian Whyte. Promoter Warren won the rights to stage the British grudge match with a historic £30.6million offer.

Whyte is not officially signed to Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing banner, instead working together on a fight-by-fight basis.
It means it remains unclear how much involvement he will have in representing the heavyweight contender.
But Warren claimed Hearn, who failed with a £23.6m offer at the purse bids, will have no say in the fight and is instead dealing solely with Whyte’s legal team.
He told the Daily Star: “We are in contact with Whyte’s lawyer and are confident he will sign soon to face the Gypsy King.
“Why wouldn’t Whyte want to take this fight for the WBC heavyweight title?
“He’s getting paid a hell of a lot of money for it and it is his chance to fight for a major belt against the best on the planet.

“I’m not sure why interviewers keep asking Eddie Hearn for details about the fight as it has absolutely nothing to do with him.
“Unless Dillian tells us otherwise, Matchroom are not representing Whyte for this fight, and we will continue working on finalising everything through the parties Whyte wants, which is not Matchroom.
“If Matchroom wanted to be involved then they should have bid more money.”
With Fury entitled to 80 per cent of the cut, Hearn conceded the bid with Warren and promotional colleague Bob Arum winning the auction.
The promoter has now paid the ten per cent deposit of his bid, but contracts will not be officially signed until a date and venue are confirmed.
Warren said: “Work on the fantastic match-up of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte has been going on in earnest this week.
“The deposit has gone in and plans for the huge event are being finalised.
“We will announce the date and venue once all the details are ironed out so stay tuned.”
