He shared a topless photo of himself wearing blue shorts and showing off his powerful physique.
John will now be praying his son finally gets the Whyte fight signed and sealed.
The Brixton banger has until Saturday, February 19, to put pen to paper to confirm his first world title shot.
Unbeaten champ Fury has already signed his half and reminded his British rival time is ticking to do the same.

Whyte has remained stoically silent since Fury’s promotional team of Frank Warren and Bob Arum won the purse bid with a £30.6million offer.
And English Hall of Famer Warren warned the challenger-to-be it is their way or the highway.
He said: “If he doesn’t sign he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid.”
Whyte and his team were left fuming after only being given a 20 per cent split of the purses.
That still guarantees him £6m and a potential £3m more if he wins and takes home the 10 per cent bonus.
But veteran US matchmaker Arum accused Whyte of wanting MORE money to flog the box office fight or he will remain tightlipped.

Former IBF welterweight king Brook took to the scales first and came in UNDER the 149lbs catchweight limit, coming in at a lean and mean 148lbs.
Special K would’ve breathed a huge sigh of relief as he would’ve been fined £100K if he missed weight.
Khan soon followed after and hit the welterweight championship limit of 147lbs.
One last face-off ensued after the final formality, and it didn’t disappoint.
A fired-up Brook roared in Khan’s face, although former unified light-welterweight champ Khan remained cool, calm and collected.
Security eventually had to separate the pair and Khan left the face-off with a wry smile on his face.

Retirement hasn’t crossed either man’s mind ahead of their Battle of Britain, but ex-cruiserweight champ Johnny Nelson is hoping the pair will see sense and protect their legacies by calling it a day.
Sky Sports Boxing Expert Nelson told SunSport: “They’ll become gatekeepers if they don’t retire after this fight.
“They’ll become the guys that are former world champions that have still got it. But can they produce it on the night when it’s expected of them? 
“They’ll be the stepping stones for the youngsters coming through. Common sense tells me that the winner and loser will say, ‘You know what? I’ve had a great time, I’m done.’ 
“It’ll be a hard slog for the loser and they might say, ‘that’s not the end of me’ depending on the fashion of the loss.
“But I hope, unless they’re fighting each other again, I hope that the winner and the loser say, ‘I’ve had a great time. Britain, thank you.'”

Nelson reckons the pain of defeat to their bitter rival will leave the loser with no choice but hang up their gloves.
He added: “As an ex-fighter myself, would I have wanted to carry on boxing after being beaten by my domestic rival? No, I wouldn’t.
“Because where’s my ambition? It tells you that I’m just going in there for the money.
“This is a big-money fight for both fighters, but pride also takes place as well.
“So, therefore, the loser will end up being a stepping stone for the young bucks coming through.
“And I think both of these fighters have got too much pride to let that be the case.”
Khan has vowed to inflict serious damage on Brook’s twice surgically-repaired face.
But Nelson reckons the Bolton bruiser doesn’t have the power to dent the Sheffield slugger’s steely chin.
He said: “I honestly don’t think Amir Khan hits hard enough to create that kind of damage. I think if he’s busy enough and throws enough shots, he can shock Kell.
“But to be bone-breaking, I don’t really think Amir Khan is really that fighter. But there’s a vulnerability for there Kell Brook and he’s got to make sure he protects that.”

The specially created design includes a Union Jack flag in honour of the all-British bout.
And instead of the classic green-strapped WBC belt, the Union Belt has a sleek white strap that will be wrapped around the waist of either Fury or Whyte.
A WBC statement read: “The World Boxing Council proudly announces the Union Belt.
“This unique belt will be presented as a special trophy to the winner of the highly anticipated fight between WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and WBC interim Heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte.
“The Union belt extols special elements to celebrate and commemorate the United Kingdom through boxing.”
But despite going through the effort of making a new belt, the bout is yet to be rubber stumped and remains in danger being CALLED OFF.

The WBC have awarded Whyte  just 20 per cent of the purse – a basic £6million – and set a deadline of February 19th to return the signed contract.
A date is also yet to be agreed for the all-British showdown.
Fury says it WILL be in the UK and April 23 is the likely spot on the calendar.
Cardiff’s Principality Stadium has been tipped as a potential venue, as has Old Trafford, home of Manchester United.
Fury hasn’t fought in the UK since clashes in 2018 against Sefer Seferi in Manchester and Francesco Pianeta in Belfast.

Verbal jabs and personal haymakers were thrown by both men during the heated presser, but Brook stepped way over the line with a tasteless reference to ‘gay’ pornography.
After Khan asked him to word himself differently, Brook responded: “It’s you who is on the gay sites, w***ing yourself off.”
The jibe was in reference to a leaked image that surfaced of Khan allegedly masturbating over a video call in 2017.
Press conference host Adam Smith swiftly warned the pair, saying: “Guys, guys… Kell, come on, focus on the fight.”
And that prompted Sky to issue an apology via a banner on the live stream.
It read: “Khan vs Brook press conference. Apologies for offensive language.”

Former unified light-welterweight champ Khan then questioned Brook over some of his past comments about their grudge match.
The British-Pakistani said: “While everyone is here I wanted to ask a question: you said, ‘I want to smash that poppadom chin.’
“That’s quite racial you saying that.”
Steel City slugger Brook fired back by asking: “What are you trying to say here… [that] I am racist?
“I just wanted to say that your chin is very fragile.”

And English Hall of Famer Warren warned the challenger-to-be it is their way or the highway.
He said: “If he doesn’t sign he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid.”
Whyte and his team were left fuming after only being given a 20 per cent split of the purses.
That still guarantees him £6m and a potential £3m more if he wins and takes home the 10 per cent bonus.
But veteran US matchmaker Arum accused Whyte of wanting MORE money to flog the box office fight or he will remain tightlipped.
