BOXING legend Mike Tyson has urged Deontay Wilder to return to the ring and face unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.The Bronze Bomber has been out of the ring since October after being knocked out by Tyson Fury in their epic trilogy fight.

Wilder was looking to reclaim the WBC title after his five-year reign was ended by the Gypsy King in February 2020.
The 36-year-old revealed in December how he is assessing his future in boxing after admitting he had “achieved all his goals”.
But WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman recently revealed the Alabama banger will return this year, and former foe Fury has declared he wants Wilder to fight for his old belt.
Fury has once again reiterated his desire to retire after stopping Dillian Whyte, which will see the WBC strap become vacant.

And now Mike Tyson has called on WIlder to return, insisting he should face unbeaten Ukrainian Usyk.
The WBA, WBO and IBF king is currently preparing for his rematch to face Anthony Joshua in July.
But should Usyk emerge victorious, Tyson wants his American compatriot to pit his wits against him.

Tyson has also had his say on British icon Joshua, as he insisted he is no walkover ahead of his rematch with Usyk.
He remarked: “Anthony Joshua’s no walkover. It’s just that for some reason, I don’t know, we expect a lot from Joshua.
“I guess maybe because English people are so behind him and we got caught up in the bandwagon too.
“Americans expect a lot out of Joshua.”
He added: “He can do so much, that’s why he’s never a lost hope. He’s dangerous, Joshua, because he’s still f***ing learning.

PARIS FURY believes husband Tyson will only end his retirement for a unification fight.Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the other four world heavyweight belts, is set to defend his titles against Anthony Joshua in their rematch later this year.

The winner of that contest could then try to fight Fury to unify the division for the first time since 1999 when Lennox Lewis managed the feat.
And Paris thinks that could lure Fury back into the ring one last time, despite the Gypsy King confirming he would quit after defeating Dillian Whyte.
Paris told BT Sport: “I know in my heart the only reason Tyson would come back is for a unification fight.
“That would be the only reason because there’s nothing left for him.”

As Fury reiterated his desire to retire in the ring after defeating Dillian Whyte Paris appeared to mouth “no chance”, suggesting she does not believe it will be the end.
She is not the only one who thinks that, either, with Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum saying he “definitely won’t retire”.
Fury’s father John also believes his son is on a wind-up while Lewis also thinks Fury will want a shot at becoming undisputed champion.

She also backed up her husband’s claims that he is the best in the world and has achieved all there is to do in the sport.
She told talkSPORT: “The world has seen him do enough. He’s the best and proved it again.
