But the unbeaten Mancunian quickly shut down those rumours as he denied he is in talks about a return to the ring.
However he told Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions on Tuesday that will “100 per cent” step back inside the squared circle.

Discussing his future on Good Morning Britain, Fury said: “As far as I’m concerned I’m happily retired, happy and content with my career and what I’ve done.
“Never say never, but as far as I’m concerned, me and professional boxing are absolutely kaput.
“Enough is enough, I’m happy to do the showbiz side of boxing.”
He then stated that he will only take part in exhibition fights going forward.

Fury remarked: “Nothing’s happened, I’m going to do some exhibition matches so not real fights. They’re purely entertainment factor.
“This is not professional boxing, this is pure entertainment. Hollywood-style entertainment. That’s all it is. Nothing more, nothing less.”
He continued: “I’m looking at fighting Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, rank Bruno, whoever. The Rock – Dwayne Johnson, that’ll be fantastic.
“You know you never know who we could be fighting on one of these shows, but that’s what I’m hoping to in the upcoming future.”

SunSport exclusively revealed yesterday that Fury could come out of retirement, but only if the price is right.
And he told the Mirror “never say never” when quizzed about a potential unification bout against Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk.
But the Gypsy King also has his eye on SIX other opponents to take on in exhibition bouts.
Two of those are the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali, both former heavyweight champions and currently defending Ukraine against invasion from Russia.

TYSON FURY joked Ed Sheeran was “p***ed off” with his record-breaking win at Wembley. Fury sold a historic 94,000 tickets before knocking out Dillian Whyte in April.

But he remains linked with a comeback to challenge for the undisputed heavyweight crown.
Anthony Joshua, 32, is set to rematch Oleksandr Usyk, 35, on August 20 in Saudi Arabia, with Fury primed to fight the winner.

Chisora is without a win two years but that is thanks to his love for risky – yet financially rewarding – fights.
He lost to current unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, 35, in 2020 before consecutive points defeats to Joseph Parker, 30, last year.
His other recent setback came in 2018 after being knocked out in round 11 while ahead in his rematch with Dillian Whyte, 34.
It leaves Chisora primed for similar mega-fights if he can beat Pulev, 41, at the O2 Arena and return to winning ways.
Hearn said: “A lot of people say, ‘Chisora’s fighting again, he’s lost his last three’.
“Yeah, he lost to Joseph Parker twice, once could have gone either way and the other was against Oleksandr Usyk.
“And by the way, before that he lost to Dillian Whyte and he was winning the fight going into the 11th round and ended up getting knocked out by a peach of a left hook.
“But all of these fights are competitive and all of these fights are exciting and if he beats Pulev – which I think he can – what will people say then?”
