But talks over a shock December domestic dust-up are still ongoing, much to the annoyance of Charr.
The former WBA (regular) heavyweight champion told Sky Sports: “Mr Big Giraffe, where is the paper? You didn’t sign [it].
“You make the same play like Anthony Joshua, I can’t understand it
“Yesterday, you shot your mouth very big and said you want to fight two guys in one night.

“But I told you from you I need five in the night, no problem. Send the paper and make the fight happen because my promoter called me and said Frank Warren doesn’t respond.
“Are you scared? Scared, boy? You little big dosser, send the paper.”
Charr’s latest dig at Fury came after he praised The Gypsy King with a throwback photo of them posing.

“A will can move mountains. On our fight night and after my victory, I don’t want to hear any excuses.”
Charr, 37, has repeatedly vowed to end Fury’s reign as WBC king this week, saying: “The lumberjack is coming for you, Habibi.
“Focus on the belt, focus on the belt. You big dosser!”
He added: “Fury, you are the s**t as Anthony Joshua. A man is a man. When you say Joshua is out, he is out.
“You told everyone you want to fight me [and] now we are like a duck. Take the fight.”
Fury, 34, performed a U-turn on his Monday deadline to AJ on Thursday, saying: “My promoter Frank Warren convinced me to let Queensberry carry on negotiating with your team this week, despite me knowing that you were never going to do this fight.

🥊 When will Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua take place? All you need to know on blockbuster bout
“So the deadline was Monday. “I allowed Frank to continue doing meetings with your team and your broadcasters and all that.
“Now we have BT, DAZN and ESPN all on the same page. They are happy with everything, they are all ready to rock and roll.
“You guys ask for a lot of stuff, you want to be co-promoters when you’re a voluntary challenger.
“Guess what, I said give it them, let them be co-promoters.
“You wanted full transparency, even though you’re not an equal shareholder in this party. You know what I said?

He’s heading into the fight off the back of two losses to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, with the last coming in October 2021.
Despite this, Wilder is more determined than ever to exact revenge on the Gypsy King, while he is also keen to go toe-to-toe with unified WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champ Oleksandr Usyk AND Anthony Joshua.
Wilder told the Daily Mail he’s “here to make nothing but great fights”.
And once he’s done competing, Wilder with then focus on making music.
    READ MORE IN BOXING
Wilder says a fourth fight with Fury is ‘”inevitable”, a showdown with Joshua “will get done when it’s time” and a meeting with Usyk has already being called for by the Ukrainian.
Joshua had offered Wilder a large sum of money to fight him instead of taking a rematch with Fury a number of years back.
However, Wilder decided to take the rematch, which Joshua says puts the “ducking” narrative to bed, after the Brit faced taunts from fans.
The American, who has won 41 fights via knockout, is returning to boxing a new man.

He’s “in a different mindset” and insists “people don’t know me”.
Wilder continued: “I wouldn’t say it’s a new start. I’d just say I’m in a different mindset. I’m soaking in my peace and happiness.
“I’m in a great place in life. In spirit. And in heart, man. I can’t explain it.
“People don’t know me. They see me in the ring and they judge me off that.
“The saying for me is: to love him is to know him. I’m always at peace, I’m always happy.

‘Get up there’ – Tyson Fury says Jake Paul ‘knows his stuff’ after being named as YouTuber’s pound-for-pound best boxer

TYSON FURY said Jake Paul “knows his stuff” after being named as YouTuber star’s pound-for-pound best boxer. Paul revealed his top ten list, which actually included 13 fighters, with the WBC heavyweight champion placed as No1.

Fury, 34, said in reaction: “Get up there @jakepaul. Man knows his stuff.”
Paul, 25, revealed his list on his podcast and explained his decisions in a statement.
He said: “First and foremost, Tyson Fury has just been so dominant in the heavyweight division for so long.
“He beats every heavyweight by KO/TKO including Usyk and there hasn’t been a heavyweight in the history of the sport who hasn’t fallen off eventually and Tyson Fury has remained on top and I think he will retire on top.

“However, what Usyk has done from cruiserweight to heavyweight has been impressive and his dominance, versatility, and boxing ability is second to none.”
Paul’s mutual respect with Fury comes despite his feud with half-brother Tommy, 23.

The boxing rivals have TWICE signed for a celebrity grudge match but both times Tommy was withdrawn.
Firstly, he suffered a rib injury last December before running into US visa issues ahead of their rescheduled August date.

It means Paul will have to cross enemy lines to get his hands on Fury, who recently FaceTimed with the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
And they both agreed to see if three really is the lucky number and try for a hat-trick of times.
Paul revealed: “Had a call with Tommy Fury. Yeah, they’re saying we’re going to fight in February.
“I think he actually can’t come into the United States. So if I fight him in the UK…”
He added: “I think parts of it are shady, I don’t think we’re getting the full truth on everything.
“But regardless, it’s a great matchup and I really want to knock him out.”

Five fights Tyson Fury could have in December if Anthony Joshua deal falls through including WWE scrap with McIntyre

TYSON FURY has insisted he will fight in December – with or without Anthony Joshua. The pair of British rivals are still in talks for a Battle of Britain bout at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

But Fury is growing increasingly frustrated with terms not yet finalised, leaving the WBC champion ready to move on.
And here, SunSport reveals some of the alternate options the Gypsy King can look to.

    Manuel Charr
The Lebanese-born and German-based heavyweight has seemingly come out of nowhere to call out Fury.
Charr, 37, has just two wins since 2017, against Christopher Lovejoy and Nikola Milacic.
But nevertheless, he claims to have an agreement in place with Fury, 34, who accepted Charr’s callout.
He said: “I accept your challenge Manuel Charr, let’s get it on motherf***er.”

    Derek Chisora
Fury twice beat Chisora, 37, in 2011 and then 2014 but talk of an unlikely trilogy has since surfaced.
The pair were close to agreeing a deal earlier in the year, before Joshua, 32, entered the frame.
Now promoter Eddie Hearn said Chisora has on offer to fight Fury, despite ongoing talks with AJ.
He told Behind The Gloves: “He’s offered fights to Manuel Charr, he’s offered a fight to Derek Chisora.”

    Joe Joyce
Joyce, 37, is currently the WBO mandatory challenger after winning the “interim” title against Joseph Parker, 30.
And although it gives him a shot at Oleksandr Usyk’s belt, he could provide an alternative to Joshua.
The pair of both promoted by Frank Warren and Joyce is by far a greater and more appealing opponent than Charr or Chisora.
Fury also ranked the Brit as the second-best heavyweight in the world.
Joe Joyce and Tyson Fury are both promoted by Frank Warren
    Dillian Whyte
Whyte, 34, was knocked out in six rounds by Fury in April with both yet to return since.
And although a rematch is unlikely, it could become a reality if Fury runs out of dance partners for December.
Whyte is already training to fight by the end of the year and wants a rematch.
He felt Fury illegally pushed him to the floor after landing the finishing uppercut punch at Wembley.

    Drew McIntyre
Crossing over for another WWE match is among Fury’s most unlikely options, but it cannot be ruled out.
It was in August he made an appearance at the Clash of The Castle pay-per-view event in Wales and sized up McIntyre and Roman Reigns.
Should Fury wait until Usyk, 35, is ready for a unification bout, returning to the wrestling ring is not a bad way of keeping busy.
Although his promoters are likely to want Fury to brush of the cobwebs in the boxing ring, not in the WWE.

Firstly, he suffered a rib injury last December before running into US visa issues ahead of their rescheduled August date.

At that point, it added to KOs over YouTuber “AnEsonGib”, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 38, and retired UFC fighter Ben Askren, 38.
Hasim Rahman Jr, 31, signed after Fury’s latest pullout but a weight row saw Paul scrap the fight.
It leaves him still yet to face an opponent with prior professional boxing experience, but that changes on October 29.
Paul returns in Arizona against UFC legend Anderson Silva, 47, who also has a 4-1 record in the ring.

Mike Tyson was desperate to fight Michael Jordan at dinner party, revealed boxing star’s former manager

MIKE TYSON once threatened to beat up Michael Jordan over their romantic history with the same woman, the boxer’s former manager has claimed. The former Baddest Man on the Planet, 56,  made his boxing comeback against Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
Mike Tyson (right) was arguably at his peak when sidling up to Michael Jordan (left)
But before that comeback, Rory Holloway has revealed what happened when Tyson and he attended a birthday dinner for Chicago Bears star Richard Dent in 1988.
Plenty of famous faces were at the December bash, including Jordan, boxing promoter Don King and Bears coach Mike Ditka.
Tyson was in his pomp with an undefeated record and unified title to his name –  it was a point in his life when he was also known for decadent and lavish partying.
But it was Jordan’s history with Robin Givens, Tyson’s ex-wife who the NBA legend had previously dated, that brought about the tension.
Holloway wrote in his book chronicling the boxer’s career, via BoxingScene: “Mike Tyson’s sitting there with his drink of choice, a Long Island Tea, and when he drinks his real feelings come out.
“I’m telling the server to water his drinks down because I see where this is going.
Jordan, it’s obvious he just wants to get up and run. He wants no part of this.
“Mike stares across the table at Michael Jordan. He says, ‘Hey man, you think I’m stupid? I know you f***** with my b****’.
“Jordan looks like he just seen a ghost. ‘I know you messed with her,’ Mike says, ‘You can tell me’.
“Jordan, it’s obvious he just wants to get up and run. He wants no part of this. Mike turns to Ditka. ‘Man, you think somebody scared of you, all that racist s*** you been talking?’.
“He says to Dent, ‘Y’all scared of this damn white man, Richard? He ain’t nobody. You gonna let him talk that way?’.

“It was a circus, for real, that night. Don King trying to change the subject. Me and John trying to hold Mike down.
“Mike telling everyone he’s going to bust Jordan’s ass. Jordan’s dressed sharp as always and he can’t get out of there fast enough.”
Differing reports of the night have been bandied around over the years and Jordan, recently subject to the hit ESPN series focusing on his departure from Chicago, is said to have declined to ever comment on his run-in with the boxing champ.
Footage recently emerged of Iron Mike let his temper boil over after coming face to face with his former promoter Don King.
Tyson accused the promoter of stealing millions of dollars he had earned from boxing and decided to sue him for $100million.
The case was settled for $14m but there was no love lost between the two.

YouTuber Jake Paul messaged UFC star Conor McGregor on Instagram urging him to ‘take the fight pussy’ after $50m offer

JAKE PAUL continued his relentless pursuit of a boxing match with Conor McGregor by direct messaging the UFC superstar on Instagram. The YouTuber revealed his eagerness to take on McGregor a few days after scoring a sensational second-round KO victory over Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson’s exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr last year.
Jake Paul slid into Conor McGregor’s direct messages on Instagram
Jake Paul launched a foul-mouthed tirade at Conor McGregor earlier this week
And in summer 2021, the 25-year-old doubled down on his desire to box McGregor in a foul-mouthed tirade on Instagram, in which he claimed his team have sent the UFC’s poster boy a whopping £37million ($50million) offer.
McGregor refrained from responding to the x-rated call-out, in which Paul made derogatory comments about the Irishman’s fiancee, Dee Devlin.
And in another attempt to get the former two-division UFC champion’s attention Paul – whose older brother Logan stepped in the ring with Floyd Mayweather – sent a short and sweet direct message to The Notorious on Instagram.
Paul’s message read: “Take the fight pussy.”

After sharing his DM to McGregor, Paul launched a blistering rant at UFC president Dana White, who revealed he was willing to let women’s bantamweight and featherweight queen Amanda Nunes fight the former Disney star.
He said: “Alright, Dana, let me try to understand your logic here: So you’re saying you don’t want me to fight Conor McGregor because he’s one of the greatest fighters in the world and I’m just like a YouTuber of whatever.
“But then, in a statement today, you say: ‘Oh, I’m thinking about just having Amanda Nunes knock him out.’ But she’s also one of the greatest.
“Dana, you seem to have this thing where you sort of hate on videogamers or YouTubers and influencers and us boxing and all this stuff.
“But then, you spend half your time hanging out with the Nelk Boys. And I know why. It’s because they have hella influence over the male audience and you know that’s gonna promote the UFC.
“And right now, baby, there’s nobody in this f***ing world who is promoting the UFC as much as me.
Tens of millions of views, number one search result on Google when you type in Conor McGregor, when you type in UFC, when you type in Dana White. So you’re not making sense here.
“Dana, I know the world doesn’t really know this because the UFC is this huge company. But we all know it’s not doing that well.
Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson’s exhibition bout with Roy Jones JrCredit: AP:Associated Press
“Anyone who is involved in WME and all the public stocks and everything that went south there, we know the company is not doing well. And I’m the biggest money fight you can do unless Khabib comes out of retirement.
“So if you want the UFC to make the most amount of money, you better start to wake the f**k up and realise that Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor is going to happen at some point.”
Paul’s rant at White came shortly after he ambushed McGregor’s team-mate Dillon Danis and pelted him with water balloons.
Paul may very well be a combat sports novice, but he’s well and truly at the centre of the boxing and MMA worlds at this moment in time.
