The undefeated Fury goes into his third showdown with Chisora 2-0 up in their series, although he’s refusing to underestimate the veteran heavyweight.
He said: “He [Chisora] done very well against [Oleksandr] Usyk.
“And may I say, who the hell is Usyk?
“People didn’t know his name until he beat the bodybuilder [Anthony Joshua] the other day.

“He was a little, small heavyweight who wasn’t going to do anything against AJ when Chisora fought him.
“But then he stepped up and beat the big bodybuilder and now all of a sudden, he’s the killer. I don’t think so.
“Listen, I rate Derek Chisora as highly as I rate Usyk, and I will train as hard for Derek as I will for any man in the world.
“If I didn’t, I would have to be an absolute idiot – I will not underestimate Derek Chisora.

“God forbid I get beat, it won’t be for the fact that I had an injury or I didn’t train hard enough, it would be the fact that I lost to a better man on the night.

I stacked shelves in Sainsbury’s three years ago… now I’m heading to US to fight for world title to fulfil my dream

DENZEL BENTLEY is giving bravery and betting tips to the rest of British boxing with his latest longshot mission. With Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua topping the list of massive fights fans are NOT getting to see – as stars protect their brands, egos and records – the Battersea middleweight is throwing himself in the deepest end again.

On Saturday night the 27-year-old meets the 11st 7lbs boogieman and unbeaten WBO world champion Zhanibek Alimkhanuly in Las Vegas.
The Khazak is both an awkward southpaw and a KO artist who has won 8 of his 12 fights via knockout and nobody in the big-money division is calling out the 29-year-old celebrated amateur.
But the 10-1 underdog – who was funding his own boxing career with shelf-stacking shifts at Sainsburys just three years ago – is backing himself, in the gambling goldmine, as always.
“The fact that I am willing to take these sorts of risks is testament to my hard work and character,” he said. “It’s what dreams are made of, I am happy and excited about it.

“Of course I believe I can beat him, 100 per cent. I wouldn’t take the fight if I didn’t think I could win.
“This is a voluntary defence for him, it’s not like I have petitioned or managed my way into this fight and am running scared.
“He is a very good fighter but I think I can pull it off.
“The bookies don’t fancy me but I am always the underdog in big fights, it just means more winnings for the boys who do back me.”

Bentley won the British title in just his third year as a professional but was bludgeoned inside just three rounds in his next fight with Felix Cash in April 2021.
It was a make-or-break moment in the Peacock Gym star’s career and sparked a three-win run that helped him regain the British title.
Now Bentley reckons the punishing defeat might have prepared him for this dream world title shot better than any of his 17 wins.

“I have always had faith in myself but everyone has their own doubts,” he said. “But that is why I kept taking risks.
“I took the British title fight when I was still a new prospect, then I took the Felix Cash fight and I came up short.
“That was a bad loss and the biggest lesson I took from it was knowing I never want to feel like that again.
“It was not a gruelling close decision, it was a bad loss and I am the first to say it.

“I had to realise this game is not that easy. If I think I am a world-level fighter I cannot be losing like that.

George Foreman ranks the four heaviest punchers of all time including Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis

And with great humility, Big George omitted himself from the running.
Asked to list his biggest hitters, he replied: “Joe Louis was the hardest puncher ever; Liston make the cut as well as Lennox Lewis. Mike Tyson.
    “Nothing special about me.”
One man that will feel aggrieved to be omitted, you would imagine, is Deontay Wilder.
    Read More on The Sun
The Bronze Bomber is renowned for his huge knockout power.
When asked about Wilder, even prior to his defeat to Tyson Fury, Foreman didn’t believe that the-then WBC champion had yet entered the pantheon of the greats.
He told TMZ Sports: “He’s good but he hasn’t approached Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson. No, he hasn’t approached that kind of recognition yet. No way.
“For me, he has to have a performance like Mike Tyson did over Trevor Berbick. Boy, when I saw that, I was down visiting Vegas, and I thought, ‘This guy is a nightmare!'”
    Most read in Sport
At the time, Wilder hit back: “I understand Foreman and all these guys, they got to let their era go in the past, I am the hardest hitting puncher in boxing history period.
“I’m 42 and 0 with 41 KOs and the numbers speak for itself, I’ve got a 97 per cent [KO] ratio and I’m above everybody, numbers don’t lie.
“I don’t know what Foreman’s talking about, they got to learn how to give me my credit, there’s no denying because over and over I’m going to prove them wrong each and every time. You’re going to be looking silly.”
Fury could yet be ordered to fight Deontay Wilder for a FOURTH time, according to reports.
The WBC have confirmed Wilder vs Andy Ruiz Jr as a final eliminator for Fury’s WBC title.

Jake Paul boxing record: Who has the YouTuber fought ?

JAKE Paul made his first foray into the boxing world with a win over KSI’s younger brother Deji during an amateur fight in 2018.But just two years later, he turned professional and has since been named as the top influencer “boxer” by the Pro Boxing Association following a string of high profile bouts.

What is Jake Paul’s boxing record?
The YouTuber-turned fighter has dominated the influencer boxer sphere and boasts a 6-0 record.
Paul has fought three former UFC fighters and knocked out all but one of the opponents he has faced in the ring.
As well as boasting a 100 per cent record, Paul is a big PPV draw and is believed to have earned around £20million from his fights.
He has shaken up the boxing world and has his sights set on becoming world champion one day and wants to fight the likes of Canelo Alvarez.

Paul also owns Most Valuable Promotions and helped organise arguably the biggest ever women’s boxing event – the Madison Square Garden showdown between Paul’s fighter Amanda Serrano and Ireland’s Katie Taylor.
    Who has Jake Paul fought?
    AnEsonGib
Paul started his professional career by knocking out a fellow YouTuber in Miami back in January 2020.
Despite predictions that the bout would closely contested, the American floored Gib three times in the opener, forcing the referee to stop the match.
Paul said: “I caught the boxing bug, I put the work in and I’m in love with this sport.
    Most read in Boxing
“I dedicated the past five months of my life to this up in Big Bear with Shane Mosley.
“My power, my speed took him out in one round. I didn’t even get to showcase my boxing ability, it was all just natural instinct.
    Nate Robinson
In his next fight obliterated former NBA basketball star Nate Robinson with a brutal second-round KO.
Robinson faceplanted after a looping right in the second round and was out cold as the fight was finally waved off.
Such was the brutality of the finish, music legend Snopp Dogg likened it at the time to a ‘Hood fight’.
The KO became a huge internet hit with poor Robinson trolled mercilessly with savage memes.
Paul later argued that it was not only the most famous of his career, but in boxing all together.
    Ben Askren
The following year, the YouTuber then followed it up with a first-round finish against retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37.
The ex-Disney star made light work of the former Bellator and ONE Championship 170lb champ, starching him in under a minute with a vicious one-two combo.
In the aftermath Paul said: “It’s been four months I’ve been in training camp every day, I deserve that s***.
“This is the craziest moment of my life. I told y’all I was gonna do it in the first round.
“I told y’all I’m a real fighter, I don’t know how many times I’ve gotta prove myself that this is for real.”
    Tyron Woodley
Paul’s toughest fight to date was his first showdown against Woodley in Cleveland as he went the distance for the first time in his career.
He secured the win by split decision after winning 77-75, 75-77, 78-74 on the scorecards.
Just three months later Woodley then signed as a late replacement after ex-Love Island star Tommy Fury, pulled out of a bout due to a broken rib and chest infection.
However, as the two faced again, Paul’s task proved to be a lot simpler on the second time of asking as he brutally shut the ex-UFC champion’s lights out with a massive right hand in round six.
Jake said in the post-fight press conference: “I’ve done more than enough, four massive fights in 13 months.
“Nobody in the history of boxing has done what I’ve done at this age.
“I turned them all into memes, that s*** is going viral all over the internet and I’m ready to fight whoever.
    “It doesn’t matter if they’re a professional boxer or a five-time UFC champion, I don’t care.
“I’m really built for this and no matter what I’m going to find a way to get the job done and that’s what I showed tonight.”
    Anderson Silva
In October 2022, Paul secured victory over UFC legend Anderson Silva  in the biggest win of his boxing career.
He bettered Silva on points in Arizona, scoring a knockdown in the eighth and final round.
Paul was awarded a unanimous decision with scores of 77-74 and 78-73, twice as he defeated his idol-turned rival.
He said: “It’s a surreal moment. Hard work pays off. First and foremost, I want to say thank you to Anderson.
“He was my idol growing up. He inspired me to be great. He was the first celebrity I ever met.
“Without him, we wouldn’t have had a fight this year. He’s a tough mofo. A legend. I have nothing but respect for him.”
It improved his record to 6-0 and marked the first time he claimed victory over an opponent with prior professional boxing experience.
Who is Jake Paul fighting next?
Paul is reportedly eager to get back into the ring in 2023 and his team have already started eyeing up opponents.
During an appearance on The MMA Hour, head coach BJ Flores said: “We got a couple of names that we’re looking at.
“And that’s all I can say about it.
“Jake wants the biggest names, the biggest challenges and he deserves those types of fights.
“He’s taken care of these guys. He’s paying these guys. Well, he’s given them full training camps.
“He’s letting these guys really come in the best version of themselves.
“There’s boxers on there. There’s a couple of MMA fighters too. That would make sense too.”
Tommy Fury and former UFC star Nate Diaz are the frontrunners to face Problem Child Paul next year.
Paul and Fury have twice been scheduled to face one another but have yet to share the ring.
Injury and illness to Fury – the younger brother of WBC heavyweight king Tyson – scuppered the pair’s first scheduled meeting last December.
Visa issues for Love Islander Fury laid waste to their rescheduled rumble in August, which both men are seemingly keen to re-book.

MMA great Diaz alluded to a switch to the boxing world after seeing out his UFC contract last month.
And Paul is confident he’d mop the floor with the Stockton slugger, saying during an appearance on The MMA Hour: “I’ll be down.” More

Tommy Fury’s opponent Paul Bamba vows to earn Jake Paul fight by upsetting Love Islander on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard

Paul is set to be ringside on a scouting mission ahead of what would be another rescheduled bout with his celebrity boxing rival.
But Bamba, 33, an ex-marine who beat homelessness with boxing, has vowed to rip up the script and cause a scene against Fury, 23.
He said: “I’m not just going to lay down it’s a great opportunity. I’m not just an opponent.
“I would say my next best bet would be the Jake Paul fight, if possible.

Fury, who pulled out of fighting Paul with a rib injury and then US visa issues, selected Bamba as his return opponent.
And the ex-soldier, who served in Iraq, warned that the 2019 Love Islander picked wrong and looks can be deceiving, especially on a record.

Bamba said: “Being realistic, it’s boxing, I probably look the easiest on paper. I have two losses, so I would say I look like the best bet on paper.
“But it will be a surprise on fight night. A lot of things on paper versus when you’re actually in there with someone is very different.
“I think out styles are very similar in the way we box, styles always makes for good matchups.”
Bamba himself is not impressed with the level of opposition in Fury’s 8-0 career as he prepares for the fight and night of his life.
He said: “It’s a great opportunity that presented itself, I have the underdog mentality, I’m not just somebody who lays down.
“I’ve seen a bunch of his fights and I don’t think anybody really tries to fight him, I think they’re just there.
“I could care less for a paycheque, no one has enough money in the world for me to throw away my ego or my pride.
“I could go in there and change my life by f up a 23-year-old.”

A lean and mean AJ, 33, exacted his revenge six months later to reclaim the unified heavyweight titles – prompting an overweight and over-partied Ruiz Jr to demand a third showdown.
And a recent conversation between the pair in Abu Dhabi has seemingly put the wheels in motion for a rubber match.
Mexico’s first heavyweight champion told Intu Boxing: “I’m trying to get those titles back.
