The Turkey international, who won the league with Galatasaray last season, is nicknamed Harry Potter.
And he has produced some more magical displays to help them to an unbeaten start this term.
Akturkoglu scored the Istanbul club’s second goal in their shock 3-2 Champions League win at Manchester United last week.
Rated at £15million, he is under contract until 2026.

Spurs scouts checked on the 24-year-old at Old Trafford and reports in Istanbul claim they will send spies to monitor the Izmir-born ace on Thursday.
Akturkoglu is due to play in Turkey’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Croatia in Osijek.
He has won 22 caps, scoring four goals, since making his senior debut in 2021.
Back in 2021, the winger lifted the lid on his Harry Potter nickname after mimicking the wizard with his goal celebration in a win over Antalyaspor.

After the match, he explained, via fotoMac: “They started a Harry Potter analogy.
“I love Harry Potter too, we have been thinking about this goal celebration for a long time. It was our fate today.”
West Ham have also been linked with a move for Akturkoglu, with the report adding that their scouts are monitoring his displays as well.
The winger has hit five goals in 15 club appearances this term, setting up seven more.
Akturkoglu has 33 from 133 games all told with the Super Lig giants.
They signed him from third-tier Erzincanspor in 2020, and he has since developed into one of Turkey’s top stars.
Liverpool showed interest in him a year ago, but he stayed put – and helped Galatasaray finish eight points clear of nearest rivals Fenerbahce. More

Videos from outside Watford’s ground showed the line of coaches ready to transport the away fans, including two Potter-branded double-deckers.
And rival fans could barely believe what they were seeing – although others could not resist some witty responses.
One said: “Imagine turning up to the derby day in these.”
    Another wrote: “Banter club.”

A third added: “Magic might be the only way you go above Luton Town this season.”
One commented: “Watford’s tactic in scaring Luton fans, use Harry Potter tour buses to ship fans to the game.”
And a final user quipped: “Are you allowed butter beer on board?”
Watford likely borrowed the coaches from the nearby Harry Potter Studios in North Watford.

But their hopes of casting a spell on local enemies Luton – managed by ex-Hornets chief Rob Edwards – fell short.
Gabriel Osho may not have scored a long Granger to fire the hosts in front – instead sweeping in to round off a superb passing move.
And the Watford defence looked so far away mentally that they might as well have been at Hogwarts as Allan Campbell tapped home from close range to secure the Hatters a 2-0 win. More

Garnacho, 18, has previously had a look resembling characters from Peaky Blinders.

Fans online rushed to comment on the new hairstyle.
One said: “No more Peaky Blinders.”

The Argentine prodigy’s new look also drew comparisons to when Lionel Messi went blonde, with one fan saying: “Following the steps of the GOAT 🐐,” alongside a picture of blonde Messi.
Another fan shared an image of blonde Messi under a post of Garnacho’s new look.
However, considering Garnacho’s idol is Messi’s GOAT rival Cristiano Ronaldo, it was probably not his exact intention to draw such comparisons.
As well as fans, the new look whipped up some reaction from team-mates, including Brazilian Casemiro.
SIlver-haired team-mate Antony exposed Garnacho’s new look to the rest of the squad while in training, with Casemiro showing off his surprise.
Dyed hair is a theme in the Man Utd dressing room, with Lisandro Martinez also having some blonde in his barnet.
The fresh look comes ahead of a crunch Europa League second leg against Barcelona, with Erik ten Hag revealing both Harry Maguire and Antony can return.
Meanwhile, Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer are also back following suspension from the thrilling first leg which ended 2-2.
Ten Hag must also cast his mind to Sunday’s Carabao Cup final for United’s first chance to win silverware in over half a decade. More

‘I’m not Harry Potter!’ – Ten Hag says Rashford is conjuring up his own magic rather than any tricks from Man Utd boss

ERIK TEN HAG claims Marcus Rashford has conjured up his own revival rather than any “Harry Potter” magic from the boss. The Manchester United chief wanted to play down his own part in the incredible turnaround of the player’s fortunes under his charge.

It was so different before Qatar 2022, with Rashford here showing his frustration after being substituted by Ten Hag in OctoberCredit: Reuters
Instead, he puts it all down to the England international’s determination to find his very best form that has brought ten goals in his last ten games.
Ten Hag said: “I’m not Harry Potter! It’s just confidence. Every player has to make  his own confidence. He fought for this, he invested in this.
“Of course, with my coaching staff, we bring in structures, especially in the way of play, that give him routines  he needs to get into the right position.
“But finally, it’s up to him, to the player, and when the player has the confidence then I’m convinced.

“The way of play is most important but the environment and  culture are also important, then the player can perform at his best.
“It’s obvious that Marcus at this moment is in really good shape, really good form.”
Rashford’s goalscoring run since returning from the World Cup is the best of any player in Europe’s top leagues.
He scored another wonder goal against Nottingham Forest in the midweek on the back of his spectacular opener at Arsenal last weekend.

New on-loan signing Wout Weghorst also broke his duck in the Carabao Cup tie at the City Ground and with Antony on form in that game too, Ten Hag is confident in his attacking line-up — despite Anthony Martial’s ongoing fitness problems.
Ten Hag said: “The front line now gives me a positive feeling, it’s getting stronger and they take benefit from each other.
“In the first part of the  season, we had many problems in the front line.
“Often we had games where we didn’t have players who were 100 per cent physically and mentally fit.
“Now that’s not the case as much and Marcus can take even more benefit from such situations.”
United take on Reading on Saturday night in the FA Cup fourth round as the only team in the country still fighting on four fronts.
It means they are in a fixture run of ten games in 30 days but Ten Hag is not complaining.
He said: “It’s tough but I think it’s always better to have games rather than training. Players like more games.
“There is a good spirit and a good mood in this dressing room to cope with that.
Antony and loanee Wout Weghorst are offering Rashford impressive support up front for the in-form Red DevilsCredit: Reuters
“We want to stay in those competitions as long as possible so we have to fight for that. It is good for the development of this squad.
“Every day we have to give our maximum, good is not good enough. We have to do better.
“It’s never at an end. We want to win every game. It doesn’t matter who the opponent is.”
Tonight’s Cup game could give club captain Harry Maguire a chance to stake his claim for a regular first-team spot again.
He is right down the pecking order for one of the centre-back spots given the form of those ahead of him.
And Ten Hag told him to battle to get his place back.
The Dutchman said: “It’s up to him. He has to fight for his position and things can change quickly. I have to say he’s training very well, I think he is making progress.
“After the World Cup, he should have played but then he got ill. I can’t do anything about that and he knows that.
For them (Reading) it’s a perfect chance, we have to be aware of that and be on the front foot.Erik ten Hag
“Then he has to wait for his chance, you have to wait for a change and make sure you are ready if the chance is there.”
Meanwhile, Ten Hag says Jadon Sancho is on his way back after being sidelined since October, with the manager believing he has not been physically or mentally right to play.
The winger, 22, only recently returned to full training with the first team since his last appearance at Chelsea.
Ten Hag added: “He is  training with the team and improving  and we will make a decision after training.”
Sancho is more likely to make the bench for tonight’s game as United aim for two trips to Wembley this season.
They look to be on their way  in the Carabao Cup after  winning the first leg of their semi-final  against Forest 3-0.
But Ten Hag will not underestimate their opponents  this evening, despite Reading standing 14th in the Championship.

He said: “Every opponent will be tough, especially in the Cup.

Gazetta have revealed three spells for a Milan win while mocking the Blues boss up as Harry PotterCredit: Gazetta
Potter’s side currently sit bottom of the group after failing to win either of their opening two games.
But despite the Rossoneri taking top spot, with four points from six, it is Chelsea who remain the favourites.
However, ahead of the clash, Gazzetta dello Sport have amusingly outlined three magic spells that Milan must produce to beat the Premier League side.
And they decided that the best way to demonstrate them in the edition was below a shot of the Blues manager’s face over the wizard Potter while flying a broomstick.

Gazzetta’s masterplan for Chelsea’s downfall starts with them stopping Raheem Sterling.
The England international, who left Man City for Stamford Bridge in the summer, has scored four goals in nine games so far for his new club.
The second was for Milan boss Stefano Pioli, who they hailed as the magician, to unleash Rafael Leao on the wing.
The 23-year-old Portuguese international has been in stunning form this term, also scoring four times, and will be hoping to continue that by providing the ammunition for a victory later.

And the final spell for Pioli to cast is for him to deploy ex-Chelsea ace Olivier Giroud alongside Charles De Ketelaere in attack.
They believe that the duo will be able to produce the magic to take advantage of the Blues’ defensive vulnerability.
Of course, it is not the first time that Potter has drawn comparisons with his namesake Harry.
While still in charge of Brighton, he sported a scar under his left eye, which he revealed came from an unfortunate trip on Brighton beach while taking a walk with his wife. More
