Huge traffic problems will cost England fans the first few minutes against USA
According to Good Morning Britain correspondent Jonathan Swain, however, many England supporters will not be in the stands for kick-off.
That is because of “huge traffic queues” on the road to the football ground..
Swain tweeted: “Many England fans will miss the start of kick off – as huge traffic queues on the roads to get to the stadium. Utter Traffic chaos.”
ITV commentator Laura Woods added there are half-hour delays for drop-offs too.

England are looking to break one of their World Cup curses when they take on USA.
The two teams have faced off only twice in the past and the Three Lions have never managed to beat the Americans.
The United States served the likes of Stan Mortensen and Tom Finney with a major upset in 1950 when their part-time players won 1-0 in Brazil.

‘94,000 Ben!’ – Tyson Fury hilariously interrupts GMB host Shephard to correct him on how many fans watched him vs Whyte

TYSON FURY hilariously corrected Good Morning Britain host Ben Sheppard on the amount of fans who attended his last fight. The heavyweight star sold a UK record 94,000 tickets for his sixth-round knockout against Dillian Whyte in April.
Tyson Fury on Good Morning Britain
Sheppard told Fury live on air: “So I was at your last fight at Wembley it was an extraordinary experience, I can’t imagine what it would have been like for you, 80,000 people in that stadium…
But the Gypsy King quickly interrupted: “94,000 Ben, 94,000.”
    Sheppard apologised: “Sorry, 94,000.
“I think the capacity for football games is 80,000 but of course, obviously everyone was on the pitch, there were seats on the pitch.”

Fury, 34, marks his return on December 3 in what is set to be a similar sell out at Tottenham’s 62,000-seat stadium.
And he does so against Derek Chisora, 38, the man he previously beat in 2011 and 2014.

Fury said: “Very excited to get back in the ring, the last fight was in April so it’s been quite a while and I’m really looking forward to getting in there and getting an early Christmas present.”
The WBC champion’s boxing career was in doubt after he announced his retirement following victory over Whyte, 34.

But after three shorts months, Fury realised the gap the sport left could not be filled.
He said: “I needed a good rest after being in boxing for such a long time and I wanted to spend some time with the family and do the stuff at home.
“And I did that for three or four months and I realised, I miss what I do. I missed fighting, I missed training, I missed gearing up for a big event.”

The ex-heavyweight king’s head slumped down as he nodded off when Morgan and fellow presenter Susanna Reid questioned him on Good Morning Britain in November 2020.
Tyson, now 56 and the owner of huge cannabis empire, was promoting his shock comeback fight with another all-time great, Roy Jones Jr.
And quizzed by Morgan again this week on Talk TV, he explained his previous dozy behaviour.
Morgan pointed out the Brooklyn bruiser looked much more “perky” now.

And when he asked Tyson what happened, the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ was for once happy to be the fall guy.
Tyson said: “I had hurt myself at that particular time. I was training.
“I received some painkillers from my wife and after I received these painkillers I was just incapable of articulating anything.

Eubank Jr says he’ll RETIRE if he loses to Benn in icy exchange as pair come face-to-face on GMB flanked by security

CHRIS EUBANK JR maintained his guarantee to RETIRE if he loses to Conor Benn. The pair of born rivals came face-to-face once more on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, flanked by security as they entered.
Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr on Good Morning Britain
It comes just over a week until they meet in a sensational catchweight clash, almost 30 years after their dads’ famous rematch.
With Benn coming up almost two weight classes, mixed in with the family pride, Eubank Jr insisted losing would bring huge consequences.
As part of an icy exchange, he said: “There’s a huge amount of pressure on me for this fight, absolutely.
“I’ve said it before – and this is the first time I’ve ever said it throughout my entire career – if I lose this fight, I retire.

“And I love fighting, I love the sport, I love being a boxer, I don’t want it to end.”
He added: “Losing to a Conor Benn at this stage in my career, it means I’m not the fighter I thought I was or that I think that I am.
“I want to challenge for world titles within the next six-12 months, I can’t do that with a loss to Conor Benn.
“My father retired at 32, I’m 33-years-old. So, this is an extremely important fight.

“And there’s a lot of pressure on me to not only win but to uphold the name. The family legacy that we have created.
“Right now, the Eubank name is in front of the Benn name in the history books. And I’m going to keep it that way.”
Eubank beat Benn in their 1990 thriller before they drew in the rematch three years later.
Now, their sons extend the family feud after agreeing to meet at 157lb.
It means Benn, 26, coming up 10lb from the 147lb welterweight limit of 10st 7lb.

Whereas Eubank Jr, 33, drops to a career-lowest, having previously fought at 160lb in the middleweight division and even 168lb at super-middle.
The former world title challenger was willing to give up 3lb and agreed to a rehydration clause which limits what he weighs the next day.
But unbeaten Benn claimed that was all Eubank Jr was willing to concede in negotiations.
He said: “The fight wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t ‘Eubank -Benn’ or you ringwalking second.

“But the reality is, no one cares. My ego ain’t that big about my name being first in the history books or whoever ringwalks second.
“I couldn’t care less to be honest with you.”

McCabe said: “It irritates me that this notion that the only way for working-class boys to get on is to take up boxing.
“And as somebody who grew up on a council estate in one of the most deprived areas of the country, there are so many sports that teach discipline and encourage kids to train and work and have ambition.
“And those sports don’t involve hitting somebody, punching somebody in the head.”
He continued: “The ultimate way to win a boxing contest is to render your opponent senseless…”

“Without learning about discipline, without physically exercising, without being able to express themselves.

Faiers fans claim they’ve figured out her newborn baby’s name after ‘clue’
Raab said: “I know from my own personal experience from when my father died when I was 12, that karate and then later on boxing were very important in not only physical fitness.
“But also the role models, respect, the ethos and a bit of focus in life that it gave me in a fragile time and I’m a middle class home counties boy.”

It has all been documented in his new best-selling book ‘Dare to Change Your Life’.
And as Okolie was talking about his journey from fast food employee to top of the boxing summit, fans noticed his clock was ahead of time.
One tweeted: “Why is Lawrence Okolie’s clock 10 minutes fast?”
Another posted: “@Lawrence_tko is like me, has his clock 10 minutes fast.”

    Okolie, 28, responded: “Good eye.”
The Londoner was first inspired to box while working at McDonald’s and watching Anthony Joshua win gold at the London 2012 Olympics.
Fast forward just four years and Okolie himself competed at the 2016 Rio Games, before turning pro a year after.
He was signed by idol Joshua, 31, and within five years of his first pro fight, Okolie knocked out Krzysztof Glowacki to win the belt.

Despite his clock at home being wrong, the cruiserweight should have no problem telling the time after he was gifted a £40,000 Rolex from Eddie Hearn.
The promoter told Okolie the Sky-Dweller was up for grabs if he ever won the world title, and happily coughed up once the job was done.
Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing captured the moment the Rolex was handed over, as promised. More

Anton Ferdinand hopes John Terry is being ‘sincere’ by kneeling for BLM and slams Millwall fans who booed gesture

ANTON FERDINAND hopes John Terry is being ‘sincere’ in his support of the Black Lives Matter movement, after lashing out at Millwall fans for booing their own players in their anti-discrimination fight.
Nearly ten years ago, Ferdinand accused Terry of racially abusing him during QPR’s clash with Chelsea.

The now-Aston Villa No2 was cleared in court but convicted by the FA of using insulting language referencing skin colour during the stormy London derby in 2011.
Ferdinand recently made a documentary for the BBC about racism in football, called Anton Ferdinand: Football, Racism and Me.
And now, he has had his say on Terry kneeling before games and wearing T-shirts in support of the BLM movement on Good Morning Britain.
Ferdinand claimed: “He’s supporting BLM the movement and that’s great.

    “I hope that’s sincere.
“Let’s have a conversation on positive change.
“I want us to come together and how we can help the authorities.”
Ferdinand also had his say on the weekend’s biggest talking point, after some Millwall fans booed their OWN players for taking a knee in their anti-discrimination fight.

The clash with Derby marked the first time Lions fans had been able to attend a home fixture since the coronavirus pandemic struck the UK in March.
But what was supposed to be a joyous occasion was turned sour by the actions of some of the home side’s returning supporters.
Mahlon Romeo – a black Millwall player – later spoke out saying he felt ‘really low’ after hearing the sick boos.
And Ferdinand has slammed the vile fans responsible, telling GMB: “I didn’t feel good at all.
“For me Mahlon Romeo plays for Millwall, one of their black players, my thoughts are for him.
“He came out afterwards and said ‘I felt hurt and disrespected’ in some kind of way.
“I don’t think any player is [taking a knee] for political reasons.
“It isn’t political for footballers… it’s about equality and lives mattering as much as everyone else’s.”

The former defender recently made a documentary for the BBC called Anton Ferdinand: Football, Racism and Me
Ferdinand also spoke out about his documentary – after being hit with a wave of horrific abuse by some viewers – saying it isn’t about his row with Terry, but a much bigger problem.
The ex-West Ham defender continued: “I didn’t want to make it an Anton Ferdinand vs John Terry documentary.
“What we’re fighting today is bigger than the incident from nine years ago.
“I wanted people to look at it and think it isn’t right.
“We’re in a day and age where things are changing.
“I believe the onus is too much on the players to make a stand. There needs to be a collective fight against this.”

Sir Andy Murray says Lewis Hamilton ‘deserves’ knighthood despite admitting he doesn’t like sports stars being honoured

LEWIS HAMILTON ‘deserves’ to be knighted, according to Sir Andy Murray – despite the tennis star’s dislike of sportspeople being honoured.
Seven-time Formula One world champion Hamilton, 35, is to be given the gong for his services to sport and tireless campaigning for racial equality and diversity.

The F1 ace is set to be awarded his knighthood after equalling Michael Schumacher’s record tally – after his controversial tax affairs were deemed ‘all in order’.
And Murray – himself knighted for his services to tennis and charity in 2019 – has revealed he believes Hamilton is fully deserving of the honour.
Murray told Good Morning Britain: “I’m not necessarily all for sportspeople being given knighthoods for what we do.
“In terms of what he’s achieved as an athlete, of course he deserves it.

“As a sportsperson, he’s one of the most successful sportspeople in the history of the country.
“He’s an amazing driver, he supports some great causes as well away from the racing track.
“So yeah, I would say he definitely deserves it in terms of his achievements.”
Hamilton is expected to be named in the New Years’ Honours list – with Prime Minister Boris Johnson believed to have given his backing to the racing superstar.

The ten greatest F1 drivers of all-time – according to SunSport’s motorsport correspondent Ben Hunt

Hamilton, worth an estimated £250million and resident of tax haven Monaco, recently had his finances green-lit by the Government’s Honours Committee.
On his upcoming knighthood, a friend said: “This is an honour that has eluded Lewis for so many years.
“It marks an incredible end to the most wonderful season.”
However, snooker star Ronnie O’Sullivan reckons Hamilton can’t be considered one of sport’s all-time greats because his car gives him an unfair advantage.
‘Rocket’ snubbed Hamilton from his list of all-time greats because F1 is not “a level playing field”.

O’Sullivan said: “It is fantastic for Lewis to win seven world titles, but if your car is going around quicker you can afford to make a few mistakes and still get away with it.
“It’s a bit like driving around smoking a cigar with one finger on the wheel.
“A lot of the sports I watch – the people that have done it, you have to look whether it’s a level playing field.
“If you have a car that is going a second a lap quicker than the other cars, in theory all he has to beat is his team-mate Bottas – who seems to be comfortable and happy playing second fiddle.
“I wouldn’t have felt as good about my career in snooker if I had been playing on a table where the pockets I was using were bigger than my opponents’.”
