ESPN reports the club are keen on a number of free agents as they look to bolster Mauricio Pochettino’s options without breaking the bank.
PSG are hoping to land Messi if he chooses to leave when his Barca contract expires in the summer.
The Argentine could be tempted to sign on at the Parc des Princes after watching the Parisian side dismantle his Catalan giants 4-1 in the Champions League last 16 first leg.
Versatile Bayern Munich star David Alaba has already confirmed he will be leaving the German champs as a free agent at the end of the season.

Alaba reportedly has a verbal agreement to join Real Madrid but PSG are one of eight clubs still battling it out for the 28-year-old.
Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is also off contract in the summer and the 30-year-old is yet to agree a new deal with the Reds.
Barcelona have long been interested in the Dutch ace – who could link up with former national boss Ronald Koeman at the Nou Camp.
PSG are also keen with Poch a fan of the player from his time in the Premier League at Spurs.

Some clubs still splashed out despite Covid-19

Other names on the radar for sporting director Leonardo include Manchester United flop and Lyon skipper Memphis Depay.
The Dutch star is hoping to finally wrap up a dream move to Barca but could still end up in the French capital with Lyon also confident they can keep hold of him.
Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj could be brought in to strengthen the backline while PSG want to keep hold of Everton loanee Moise Kean.
The report states they may propose another loan deal with an option to buy to the Toffees.
For now the club are said to be focusing on hanging onto their headline stars with Leonardo holding talks over contract extensions with Neymar, Mbappe and Angel Di Maria.
Juan Bernat and even Julian Draxler could also be signed up to longer deals with the French champs.

How PSG could line up with Hector Bellerin joining Messi and Dele Alli if ex-Spurs boss Pochettino lands Arsenal star

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are reportedly interested in Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin this summer.
And it’s unlikely that the Gunners stalwart would be the only new star addition at Parc des Princes.

New boss Mauricio Pochettino is still getting his feet under the table in the Parisian hotseat.
But he has already captured the imagination of supporters, by inspiring his side’s 4-1 thumping of Barcelona in their own back yard.
The subsequent 2-0 home defeat to AS Monaco provided a stark reality check, however, and a reminder that they could still do with strengthening.
PSG’s signings haven’t always worked out in recent years, but goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been a revelation since joining from Real Madrid in 2019.

In front of him, Pochettino will want to improve in the full-back areas, with Danny Rose and Kyle Walker having been key cogs of his Spurs side at its best.
This is where interest in Bellerin, 25, comes in – while PSG are also refusing to give up on Bayern Munich star David Alaba.
RMC Sport report that club president Nasser Al Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo have held talks with the Austrian ahead of a potential summer free transfer.
In the centre, skipper Marquinhos and homegrown star Presnel Kimpembe are capable of marshalling the back line with aplomb.

Should Pochettino field the 4-2-3-1 that he had joy with in North London, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Marco Verratti provide classy options as midfield screeners in front of the back four.
Looking further forward, PSG were interested in Dele Alli even before Poch’s arrival, let alone after.
Having been treated oddly by manager Jose Mourinho this season, Alli last week gushed about Pochettino and his ‘dad vibes’.

He would pull me in if I was doing dumb stuff and speak with me. Not like a dad – but that sort of vibe
    Dele Alli on Mauricio Pochettino

He said: “I was very lucky to have a manager like Pochettino – he was an unbelievable guy and very experienced.
“He would pull me in if I was doing dumb stuff and speak with me. Not like a dad – but that sort of vibe.”
To Dele’s right, PSG are desperate to pull of an incredible free transfer for Lionel Messi, with Pochettino and Angel Di Maria having flirted with the potential signing in the press.
Messi’s arrival would surely cement Neymar’s desire to sign a new contract, with the Brazilian having already admitted that he’d like to extend his current deal beyond its June 2022 expiry date.
And with this sort of quality arriving, surely forward Kylian Mbappe would be barmy not to follow suit, spearheading a sensational starting XI.

But having enjoyed a fruitful campaign on the Cote d’Azur, Badiashile has insisted that he has no regrets over not moving to Old Trafford.
He told RMC Sport: “It was the right choice, first off is I have not enjoyed good seasons since I have been at Monaco.
“We played to stay up and so now I am really experiencing the top of the table and I think that continuing with the club that formed me was the right decision and this is being proved by the season that we are having.”
Pressed further about whether he specifically has any Man United regrets, he replied unequivocally: “No, not at all.”

Badiashile was thrust into the AS Monaco first team aged just 17 by Thierry Henry in November 2018.
With Leonardo Jardim having been sacked a month earlier, the Monegasque were enduring a difficult campaign compared to recent title hilts.
Badiashile’s debut came in a 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
But, more than two years on, things came full circle last Sunday, when he played the full 90 minutes of a 2-0 victory over the Parisians at Parc des Princes.

A renewed push could force Arsenal’s hand, given Bellerin will have two years left on his contract at the end of the season.
Cost cutting at Emirates Stadium may tempt a cash-in with the player reportedly considering his future last summer until Mikel Arteta persuaded him to stay.
According to CBS Sports, PSG are joined by Barcelona and two Serie A clubs in monitoring the Spaniard.
Bellerin has been a senior figure throughout the Gunners’ mixed campaign so far, which has at least uncovered a resilience at the back and the fourth-best defensive record in the league.

After almost eight years in the team, the 25-year-old has won three FA Cups at Arsenal and recently returned to the Spanish national setup.
Should Bellerin leave, the North London club are said to have two potential replacements already in mind.
Norwich right-back Max Aarons and Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey are named in reports.
The Canaries rebuffed an approach from Barcelona for their homegrown star last summer and look primed to bounce back to the Premier League.

Goals from Sofiane Diop and Guillermo Maripan condemned the Parisians to only their second defeat under new boss Mauricio Pochettino.
France Under-20 international Diop opened the scoring in the sixth minute with a well-placed header, his fifth goal of the season.
And Maripan doubled the visitors’ lead in the 51st minute with a neat side-foot finish after an error from former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.
Pochettino’s troops are now toiling in third place in the Ligue 1 table, four points behind leaders Lille.

The Argentine said: “We were not good enough and that is why we lost the game.
“We decided before but in the moment that we conceded the second goal it’s was similar, two approaches from Monaco and we conceded.

Several success stories have come from January transfers
“Then we dominated the game for more than 75 minutes with the possession of the ball, but we never found a way to break down their defensive line.

“Of course, they defended well and there’s nothing more to say.
“Congratulations to Monaco and we need to work hard to try to turn this type of situation around.”
Monaco chief Niko Kovac was delighted with his troops’ display in the French capital and was particularly pleased by how they nullified the potent threat of Kylian Mbappe.
He said: “I am very happy with the performance of my team. PSG are a great team.
“We played very hard for 90 minutes and we deserved the victory.

“They didn’t have a lot of opportunities. I have to congratulate my players.
“Our plan? We had to erase Kylian Mbappe because he’s a great striker.
“We had to deprive him of the ball by putting three or four players on him.
“In defence, we showed another face of Monaco because we didn’t concede many chances.
‘Tonight was wonderful. This is what we needed.

“We managed to beat PSG for the second time, now we are going home and going to rest.
“Can we finish in the top three? As I said before, we mainly have to increase the gap with the teams fifth and six.
“There are still a few games left, if we have the chance to close the gap then we will do it. But we are not yet at the level of the first three.”

Eduardo Camavinga’s agent says Man Utd and Real Madrid transfer target will cost more than £43m

EDUARDO CAMAVINGA’S agent reckons the midfield prodigy will cost more than £43million.
The Frenchman has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Europe since his debut for Rennes in 2018 aged just 16.

His contract runs out in the summer of 2022 and only ‘four or five clubs’ could convince him to leave Julien Stephan’s side.
But his agent Jonathan Barnett warned it would come at a price.
Asked by Goal if he vaulues the 18-year-old at more than €50m (£43m), Barnett said: “I would think so.”
Camavinga has made 26 appearances this season with just the one goal but made his debut for France last year.

Real Madrid and Barcelona have both been linked with the starlet.
And a move to one of Spanish giants appears to be the preferred destinations if Camavinga was to be prized away from Rennes.
Barrett said: “At the moment, he’s a Rennes player.
“He likes Rennes and, at the moment, we haven’t really taken to other clubs. It isn’t our position.

“[Madrid are] a great club, a great club to play for. Eduardo will have a choice of a lot of clubs if Rennes decides to release him.

Mbappe’s contract expires in the summer of 2022.
But if he decides not to extend the deal, PSG may look to cash in at the end of this season.
Even though the 22-year-old will only have a year left at that stage, the French champions still want £175m, according to Le Parisien.
Mbappe enjoys playing for PSG but is said to be coming around to the idea of leaving.

And after he left fans around the world in awe with his Champions League hat-trick against Barcelona on Tuesday, Mbappe said he’d be stupid to make a transfer decision after just one game.

Liverpool and Manchester City are among the list of other clubs keen to snap him up.
