PSG ‘agree to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma on free transfer before immediately sending keeper out on loan’

And PSG have beaten Juventus to his signature, according to journalist Duncan Castles.
The Ligue 1 giants have recently extended Keylor Navas’ deal which seemed to suggest they would swerve Donnarumma, 22.
But they are said to have moved anyway in what appears to be a sound move for the future.
Donnarumma has made it clear he wants to play Champions League football which would leave only a handful of teams for him to join on loan.
Inter, AC, Atalanta and Juve are the four teams who qualified for the Champions League in Italy.
But Juve now seems an unlikely destination after Donnarumma was reportedly left in tears after Milan Ultras threatened him amid links with the Old Lady.
Jose Mourinho is also said to have called the keeper to convince him to join Roma who are only playing in the Europa Conference League with his old team Spurs.
Donnarumma came up through the Milan academy and made his Serie A debut at 16.

He has also been linked with Barcelona who are said to be willing to sacrifice ‘untouchable’ Marc Andre ter Stegen and replace him with the Italy international.
And Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked given the complicated goalkeeping situation at both clubs.
Milan technical director Paolo Maldini recently told reporters: “He [Donnarumma] has been a protagonist of this season.
“It’s getting more and more difficult to find players who start in a team and always end up staying.
“The roads with Gigio are splitting, I can only wish him the best.”
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Milan want to replace the departing goalkeeper with Lille stopper Mike Maignan.
Milan finished second in Serie A this season, 12 points behind champions and local rivals Inter.

Guendouzi, 22, spent the season on loan at Hertha Berlin in Germany after falling out of favour at the Emirates.
His Gunners career appears to be over after being frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta following a number of incidents.
The French former U21 international has a year left on his deal at the Emirates.
And L’Equipe in France report that he has agreed to join Marseille.
But the report adds that the clubs are yet to agree a deal and talks may have not even started yet.
Guendouzi reportedly travelled to the French city in recent days and discussed a move with Marseille officials.
The Gunners would be keen to move on from him as they look to rebuild their squad after a disappointing campaign.
Arteta’s men finished eighth in the Premier League and missed out on any European football next season.

He joined the Gunners in 2019 but is yet to play a game for them and instead has had loan spells at St Etienne and Nice.
The defender was an unused sub in the Community Shield win over Liverpool last August before failing to make Arsenal’s Premier League squad.

And academy graduate Colin Dagba hasn’t managed to stamp down a first-team place either.
According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, newly-crowned Italian champions Inter need to get between £77million to £85m in transfer sales to meet the economic needs of the club.
The report states that the Nerazzurri and PSG are in the advanced stages of negotiations.
And the deal would be around £51.5m – turning a profit of £16.5m from when they acquired him permanently from Real Madrid for £34.3m back in 2020.
The 22-year-old could be the second high-profile Inter star to leave the San Siro this summer.
Title-winning boss Antonio Conte sensationally quit days after lifting the Serie A title.
Conte could return to the Premier League, with managerless Tottenham reportedly adding the Italian to their shortlist.
The latest developments are a blow to Arsenal who have been tracking the highly talented right-back for some time.

Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger reveals he was close to transfer exit to join Thomas Tuchel at PSG and held Tottenham talks

CHELSEA defender Antonio Rudiger revealed he was close to leaving Stamford Bridge to join Thomas Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain.The 28-year-old was out of favour with former Blues boss Frank Lampard and considering a move to get game time ahead of Euro 2020.

Speaking to Kicker, Rudiger said: “I was really about to leave [Chelsea].
“It was the start of a season with a European Championship at the end and I felt it was my duty to look for alternatives to the DFB in order to get enough match practice.
“PSG and Thomas Tuchel were the most serious option.
“I also had contact with Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho, whom I really appreciate as a coach.”
After making 33 Premier League appearances under ex-Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri during the 2018-19 campaign, Rudiger struggled for game time under his successor Lampard.
He featured just 20 times in the league during the ex-Derby coach’s first season in charge but has been reintegrated under Tuchel following his appointment at Stamford Bridge in January.

Rudiger has impressed in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, earning him a place in Joachim Low’s Germany squad for the Euros.
The ex-Roma defender has received praise from several pundits – including Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, who described him as one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
Rudiger is likely to start tonight’s Champions League final against Manchester City alongside team-mates NGolo Kante and Edouard Mendy, who have both been passed fit for the game.
One player who may not feature in the showpiece event is City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan after he limped out of training on Friday.

And if Poch does make the move, he will ask Harry Kane to give him at least one more season at Tottenham.
The England captain, 27, made clear he wants to leave in his hunt for honours — but that was before Poch let on he was interested in going back.Spurs chairman Levy hopes it will persuade the striker, who still has three years on his deal, to stay put.
But it is unlikely to stop Manchester giants City and United from trying to bag the Prem’s 23-goal Golden Boot winner. While Poch would want to keep Kane, the star of his previous 5½-year spell, it is not a deal-breaker.

Lyon chief Juninho delivers stinging attack on ex-Man Utd star Memphis Depay with forward set for Barcelona transfer

Instead, with his contract expiring ths summer, he will leave for Barcelona on a free transfer.
Lyon chief Juninho confirmed the club made attempts to keep Depay, but took a swipe at the attacker for being too self-centered.
And he insisted the 27-year-old is not at the level of Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, therefore cannot expect preferential treatment.
Juninho told OLTV: “Memphis, he has done his time. The president made a lot of efforts for him to extend. Memphis, he wanted a team for him.
“That is not a criticism. I had a good relationship with him. However, it was as if the whole team had to work around him and that was very hard.
“Because everyone needs to feel like they are working equally.
“There are only 4 players in the world who you should do everything for him: Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe.
“If you have one of them, things should work around them. Sorry, I think Memphis is good, but not at the level of those four. And I think he needs to work more off of the ball.”

The Dutchman, who scored 22 goals in 40 appearances this season, is set to be joined at Barca by Sergio Aguero, 32, who will leave Manchester City after the Champions League final.
Depay confirmed Lyon’s last game of the season would be his final for the club as he said farewell after four years in France.
He said to L’Equipe: “It will be strange to think that I will play my final game for the club on Sunday against Nice.
“I am a bit sad that I won’t be able to do that in front of the fans, in an empty stadium without my friends, the fans and my family.
“I’ve had some great times here. I have played in the Champions League, I have captained the team and I am a much better player now.
“I want to go to one of the two or three best clubs in the top five leagues. I don’t know where I will end up yet, but that’s my plan.
“If people don’t consider me a player of that level then they have a problem with me. If I am not on the list of great players then it’s their problem.”

Kylian Mbappe ‘stalls on PSG contract talks over TWO key demands’ in transfer boost for Real Madrid and Liverpool

KYLIAN MBAPPE is reportedly stalling on a new Paris Saint-Germain contract over two key demands. And that has given a transfer boost to suitors Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Le Parisien claims Mbappe is open to staying at the Parc des Princes, despite his current deal expiring in 2022.
Real and Liverpool are both said to be extremely keen on signing the World Cup winner.
And PSG could be forced to sell this summer in order to prevent Mbappe leaving on a free transfer next year.
It’s reckoned Mauricio Pochettino’s men are currently offering Mbappe a new contract until 2025, having already secured Neymar’s future.

But the first sticking point for Mbappe is that the proposed contract length is too LONG.
He instead only wants to extend his deal until 2023, thereby keeping future transfer options open.
The length of the contract ties in to Mbappe’s second demand, which is regarding incomings this summer.
He is eager to play in a competitive side challenging for trophies each season.

PSG lost their grip in the Ligue 1 title to Lille and also crashed out of the Champions League in the semis.
Mbappe therefore wants to see who comes in the upcoming transfer window.
And if his ambitions are not matched by PSG’s transfer business, he will only be tied down until 2023 at the latest.
It’s believed Mbappe wants to see a new right-back and central midfielder at the club for starters.
PSG must now either relent to Mbappe’s two demands or prepare for his impending exit.
But with the striker heading for the Euros with France now, there is unlikely to be any further movement on negotiations until July.
And when asked earlier this month whether he was planning on staying at PSG next term, Mbappe replied: “I think the most important thing is to enjoy the moment right now.”
