PAUL POGBA’S agent Mino Raiola is reportedly drumming up interest for his man with Barcelona a potential destination. The 28-year-old midfielder – who is out of contract at the end of the season – has been ‘offered’ to the Catalan giants by the super-agent.

According to ESPN there is still the possibility of Pogba signing a new deal at United, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly already sounded out a replacement.
That being Aurelien Tchouameni – Pogba’s international teammate.
The 21-year-old midfielder has a reported asking price of around £42-50million.
Monaco man Tchouameni has made an impressive start to the Ligue 1 season and helped France to Nations League glory last week.
But Tchouameni is likely to be at the centre of a bidding war, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea AND Juventus all said to be in the hunt for the youngster.
While Pogba has been ‘offered’ to Barca, a move to Camp Nou would prove to be difficult.
The cash-strapped Catalans are still paying out more on wages than La Liga allow, and despite being a free transfer initially Pogba would demand a significant salary.

They are also still over £1.1BILLION in debt.
And Raiola would likely charge a hefty agent fee for any potential deal regarding Pogba.
However the United midfielder is not short of potential suitors come next summer.
The Red Devils want to tie him down to a new deal amid interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Pogba is said to be willing to put pen-to-paper on a mind-boggling £400,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford.
But a return to Juventus has also been rumoured, as has a move to Barca’s La Liga rivals Real Madrid, and French giants PSG are never far away from being linked with big names.
The France international is free to begin negotiations with foreign clubs regarding a pre-contract agreement from January 1.

How Man Utd could line-up next season with star-studded squad including Aurelien Tchouameni, Rice and Ronaldo up front

How Man Utd could line-up with Tchouameni and Rice starting in midfield, with Ronaldo up front
Fred and Scott McTominay have been the preferred double pivot for the Red Devils.
But the pair haven’t convinced fans they’re the two to stick with.
And star midfielder Paul Pogba is yet to sign a new contract, putting the Red Devils at risk of losing him for free next summer.
According to Team Talk, West Ham’s Rice is one of Man Utd’s key transfer targets.
The 22-year-old Hammers captain and England international is one of the most highly sought after defensive midfielders in Europe.
United will, however, face stiff competition from league rivals Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool.
And the Hammers have slapped a £100million price tag on Rice in a bid to put members of the Big Six off.

Tchouameni’s performances in both Ligue 1 and at international level has caught the eye of United too.
Chelsea, Man City and Real Madrid are also tracking the 21-year-old’s progress.
According to Marca, Monaco value the imposing midfielder at £50m, half of what West Ham want for Rice.
Real, in particular, are eyeing Tchoumeni as a replacement for an ageing Casemiro.
The other option Real are looking at is United’s Pogba whose contract expires next summer, but Tchoumeni would add more muscle to their midfield.
The report, however, states that the Premier League clubs have an advantage over Los Blancos as they have greater spending power.
Should United sign both ahead of next season, the pair would add a solid defensive base sitting in front of the back four.
And with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo making up United’s attack, the Red Devils could be serious title challengers again.
    Declan Rice
Man Utd legend Roy Keane has praised Rice, claiming the midfielder is ‘way ahead’ of where he was when he was the same age.
The former Red Devils captain said on Sky Sports: “I think Declan’s improved as much as any player over the last one or two seasons.
“I know he’s been linked with Man United and if you’d have asked me a year or two ago, I would have thought give him another year or two in terms of maturing.
“I look to where I was when I was 22.
“I think he’s way ahead of me when I was 22.
“I think the next step will come when he’s playing at a higher level, Champions League, competing for trophies.

“He’s obviously a regular for England. There’s a lot more to come from him.”
Rice – who captains West Ham whilst club captain Mark Noble starts from the bench – could also be a future England captain.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate hinted Rice’s ‘tremendous leadership’ shows ‘signs of what might be possible’.
He said: “I spoke to Declan when he was making the transfer from Ireland and we had seen things in him which we believed could be helpful to us as a country.
“You could tell his mentality was one where he wanted to learn and improve and test himself.
“He is a real sponge for tactical information and observations on his game and is desperate to be the best he can possibly be.
“Even though he is a young player, he has got tremendous leadership qualities, and he is captaining his club at an incredibly young age, so you can see all the signs of what might be possible.”
    Aurelien Tchouameni
United star Pogba is a big fan of Tchouameni.
Pogba called Tchouameni ‘a man’ despite his tender age.
He said: “Very very good. He’s not a boy, he’s a man.
“Pleasure to play next to him. He brings a lot of energy. A lot of energy, extraordinary technical and physical quality.
United are potentially planning for life under Pogba, who is yet to sign a new deal at the club
“We wish him to play lots of matches. and that I am always at his side.”
Iconic Premier League midfielder and Monaco team-mate of Tchouameni, Csec Fabregas, believes the France international has all the necessary tools to succeed.
Fabregas said: “He has the potential to be the complete midfielder. Modern midfield player.”

Real Madrid want Chelsea transfer target Aurelien Tchouameni as ‘ideal replacement for Casemiro’ from Monaco for £30m

REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to go toe-to-toe with Chelsea in a battle to sign Monaco midfield star Aurelien Tchouameni. Spanish outlet Marca claims the LaLiga leaders see the France ace as a potential successor to Casemiro with the Brazilian turning 30 in February.

Carlo Ancelotti’s club have already made moves to try and bring Tchouameni’s compatriot Kylian Mbappe to Spain next year, much to the annoyance of Paris Saint-Germain.
Tchouameni has enjoyed an outstanding beginning to this season, making 15 appearances for Monaco and netting in their 3-0 win against Bordeaux.
The Ligue 1 starlet has impressed on the international stage, covering the midfield slot next to Paul Pogba in N’Golo Kante’s absence.
His efforts drew praise from the Man United star who hailed the player for having ‘extraordinary technical and physical quality’ in a Ouest-France interview.
The former Bordeaux youngster helped Les Bleus triumph for the first time ever in the Nations League, making a full 90 minute appearance in the team’s 2-1 defeat of Spain in the contest’s final.
Marca claims Madrid could face a battle for Tchouameni’s signature from a few of Europe’s other big clubs alongside Chelsea.

It is thought Juventus have an interest in the player with Liverpool rumoured to be keeping an eye on the £34million-rated star.
And this year the player, who has been on target twice for his club in France’s top-flight, was referred to as a ‘complete, modern midfielder’ by club-mate Cesc Fabregas.
Reports claim Chelsea may well have taken note of Didier Deschamps opting to use Tchouameni as cover for Kante in midfield.
In the summer The Athletic claimed The Blues, who face Brentford on Saturday, felt the 21-year-old would benefit from another season in Ligue 1.
Madrid have battled with their budgets being affected by the impact of Covid-19.

However, the club hopes to be in an improved financial situation next summer.
And the Daily Mail claims Touchameni and Mbappe remain the Bernabeu outfit’s top targets for 2022 with the PSG striker potentially available on a free transfer.
Tchouameni has notched up 53 Monaco appearances in addition to the 37 he made at Bordeaux as a teenager before his January 2020 switch.

Real are also chasing Paris Saint-Germain’s Mbappe, who seemingly has no intention of signing a new contract, meaning he can leave for free next summer.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, it is yet to be decided whether Haaland can ‘accept the presence’ of Mbappe at Real, with the forward wanting to be the main man at whatever club he ends up at should he leave Dortmund.
If Real sign Mbappe, Haaland could SNUB a move to the Spanish capital, boosting United’s chances of signing him.
And boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously been in contact with the serial goal scorer over a potential move to the Red Devils.
United would most likely face stiff competition from PSG, who will be looking to replace Mbappe, and Man City who are yet to replace Sergio Aguero.
The pair are dubbed the natural successors to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo when they decide to hang up the boots.

And both are already embracing each other’s competition.
After Mbappe scored a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Champions League last season, Haaland bagged a brace against Sevilla.
And Haaland says Mbappe gave him ‘free motivation’.
He told Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay: “It was good to score goals.
“I love the Champions League and when I saw Mbappe score the hat-trick yesterday I got free motivation, so thanks to him.
“He scored some nice goals and I got a good boost from him.”

The competition between the two even stretches into a virtual world, with Haaland stunned to find out he is rated three points lower than Mbappe on FIFA 22.
In a grand reveal of Haaland’s FIFA 22 rating, Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham revealed to the forward he had a lower rating than both Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski.
    He replied: “No comment.”

Matteo Guendouzi takes veiled swipe at Arsenal fans as he hails Marseille supporters for filling stadium

FORMER Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi has revealed he feels the ‘true love’ Marseille fans have for the club after switching North London for the South of France in the summer. According to L’Equipe the 22-year-old is reported to have clashed with a number of Marseille players, but is still the ‘happiest’ he has been in his career.

Guendouzi joined Marseille in July on loan from Arsenal, and the French side have the obligation to buy the midfielder at the end of the season.
He has revealed he enjoys playing in a ‘full stadium’ at Marseille, perhaps suggesting that he has not had the same experience before.
That’s despite playing 82 times for Arsenal during a three-year spell with the North Londoners.
The Frenchman has claimed, via the Mirror: “Before coming to OM [Marseille], I had a few choices. The speeches of Pablo Longoria, the president, and Sampaoli convinced me.
“I immediately said I want OM. It’s the biggest French club, the one who has won the Champions League, there’s a great history.
“There’s the strongest crowd in the country, and maybe continent.

“I like playing in a full stadium when at home. I like to feel the true love from the fans for this club.
“That’s what I found here. I haven’t been this happy since the start of my career.”
The comments come despite Guendouzi’s outburst at teammate Gerson last month.
In a 3-2 home defeat to Lens, Guendouzi was seen in an angry confrontation which resulted in Gerson having to be held back by his team-mates.
Club captain Dimitri Payet was even forced to intervene to try and calm the situation down.
Guendouzi’s move to Marseille follows spending last season on loan at German side Hertha Berlin, having been frozen out at Arsenal.
After taunting Brighton players about earning more money then them in June 2020, Guendouzi never played for the Gunners again.
He was also filmed in the same game grabbing Neal Maupay around the throat and throwing the Brighton striker to the floor.

With one year left on his PSG contract the 22-year-old recently admitted he dreams of forcing a move to Real.
The LaLiga giants have made no secret of their desire to sign the Frenchman, with talk of a pre-contract agreement on the table in January.
That sparked fury at the Parc des Princes with PSG director Leonardo slamming Real for a lack of respect.
And despite her son’s Bernabeu ambitions, Mbappe’s mum has suggested he could be staying in Paris after all.
Fayza Lamari told Le Parisien: “We are currently talking with PSG (about a contract extension) and things are going well.
