Nevertheless the logo is set to be branded on the sleeves of PSG’s kit starting from next season in an unofficial crowning of football’s GOAT.
And just to rub it in the noses of Ronaldo fans, Messi will also display the word on his warm-up and training kit.
GOAT is an online marketplace specialising in selling luxury clothing.
But rather fittingly it’s also the acronym for “greatest of all-time”, a topic that splits the opinion of the footballing world.

For close to two decades fans, players, and pundits have bickered about which superstar is better.
Now though the GOAT seems to have finally been unofficially crowned.

With Messi under contract in Paris until the summer of 2023, with the option of a further year, he’s set to exhibit the word for years to come.

The superstar forwards hit top form away at Clermont Foot with three goals apiece in the 6-1 hammering.
Neymar put them ahead after six minutes, firing home with a low shot after being set up by Messi.
Messi also set up the second for Mbappe, who beat Arthur Desmas from inside the box with a clinical half volley in the 19th minute.
Clermont, however, hit back just before halftime when Saif-Eddine Khaoui’s cross was met by Jodel Dossou, who found the back of the net with a right-footed effort from 12 yards.

PSG were then unstoppable in the second half – and the hat-trick heroes shared four goals in the last 20 minutes.
Neymar put them 3-1 up with a penalty after a foul on Mbappe in the 72nd minute, two minutes before the French international added a fourth, dribbling past the keeper after being set up by Neymar to tap the ball into the empty net.
Six minutes later, Mbappe was at it again, benefiting from a nice combination between Messi and Neymar to curl a shot into the top corner.
And then seven minutes from time, out-of-contract Mbappe rushed into the area and his pass was collected by Neymar who coolly finished it off from close range.

Before Sunday’s home clash with Lorient, Messi had scored just seven goals for the club and none of them in the same game as Neymar and Mbappe.
That all changed on Sunday evening though when all three found the back of the net during a thumping 5-1 win at home to Ligue 1 strugglers Lorient.
Once again Neymar was booed by the PSG faithful before the game, as was manager Mauricio Pochettino, while his name continues to be linked with the Manchester United job.
Messi’s name though was greeted with cheers as it was read out by the stadium announcer, after he too was jeered alongside Neymar last month.
