PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN could be about to scupper Robert Lewandowski’s move to Barcelona, according to reports.The legendary Poland striker is thought to be close to finalising a switch from Bayern Munich to Barca and agreeing a three-year deal.

The German giants have confirmed he wants to leave and his agent Pini Zahavi says he has “always dreamed” of joining the Catalans.
But Bayern are apparently reluctant to sell the 33-year-old star, who has bagged 238 goals in 253 appearances for them and is under contract until June 2023.
Their sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has just flown out to meet Lewy face-to-face at his holiday home in Mallorca to convince him to stay, according to Marca.
And with Barca facing financial trouble this summer it remains to be seen whether they will be able to meet Bayern’s £43million valuation.

A FRENCH football chief has revealed he fears for football fans’ lives after a season of pitch invasions and “criminal” behavior in Ligue 1. The top division of French football has seen a number of high-profile incidents this season.

Pitch invasions, objects being thrown at players and fans attacking their own team are just some of the scenes that have blighted the game this season.
One of the worst moments came when St Etienne fans launched flares at their own players and stormed the pitch after they lost a relegation play-off to AJ Auxerre last month on penalties.
Speaking to L’Equipe, French football league chief Vincent Labrune warned of the safety of the sport if the current trend continues, and said clubs must get rid of “criminal” fans.

MANCHESTER United have been dealt a transfer blow over Porto midfielder Vitinha, who is reportedly set to have a medical with PSG.The highly-rated 22-year-old had caught the English club’s interest but is now edging closer to France.

The blow comes amid fears that United have had a slow start to the transfer window while their rivals secure huge signings.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the PSG move for Vitinha is on, with paperwork and the medical now the last pieces to be completed.
Romano also suggested that Luis Campos, the new football adviser at PSG, was an important factor behind the deal.
He tweeted: “Paris Saint-Germain have already prepared for medical tests and paperworks to complete Vitinha deal with FC Porto. Deal wanted by Luís Campos, his first signing will be Portuguese.”

NEWCASTLE have reportedly made a late swoop for West Ham target Nayef Aguerd ahead of the defender’s proposed medical at the London Stadium.SunSport revealed last month how the Hammers were closing in on the signing of the Rennes centre-back in a deal worth up to £30million.

NEYMAR has been spotted playing in the high-stakes World Series Poker tournament in Las Vegas, but was eliminated in his first day.The Paris-Saint Germain star is a real Poker enthusiast, with the Brazilian even admitting he wants to go pro after he hangs up his football boots.

Although, it seems he still has some way to go before he is able to win a tournament with the big boys.
Neymar, 30, entered the Las Vegas tournament as one of 74 entrants on the first day of the three-day competition which has a reported prize pool of nearly £709,000.
According to on-site reports from PokerStars, Neymar was very active in his style of play, fighting for every pot and playing lots of hands in a bid to come out on top.
The buy-in for the competition was said to be over £8,200, or $10,000, meaning Neymar lost all of this money due to not even being able to make day two.
