      According to Le Parisien, the French giants allegedly approached City in recent weeks.
      They are supposedly looking to try and offload the world’s most expensive footballer this summer – despite him activating a clause in his contract to tie him down until 2027.
      However, there was no deal to be struck with City who have kept their focus on recruiting young talent – rather than the 30-year-old Neymar.
      City have snapped up Erling Haaland, Kalvin Philipps and Julian Alvarez in the current transfer window, as well as selling Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling.

      LEICESTER CITY have reportedly rejected a bid worth £13million from Monaco for midfielder Boubakary Soumare. The 23-year-old is being linked with a move away from the Foxes just one season after joining the club.

      Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are keen on bringing Soumare back to France after he initially left Lille to join Leicester.
      They initially asked Leicester about the possibility of signing Soumare on loan, although the Foxes immediately rejected the proposal.
      Monaco then came back with a bid of £10m, rising to £13m with add-ons, according to Foot Mercato.

      Southampton chasing cut-price £10m deal for former Celtic star Moussa Dembele as he enters last year of Lyon contract

      SOUTHAMPTON are looking at a bargain deal for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.Saints need a new forward and the French ex-Celtic man is in their sights as he enters the last year of his contract.

      He may be available for around £10million.
      Dembele, 26 on Tuesday, was on loan at Atletico Madrid two seasons ago but Lyon would want money for him in this window although the cost could be relatively cheap.
      Southampton may shake up their attack and let some leave if they get Dembele while balancing the books quite easily.
      Dembele started his career at Fulham, banging in 19 goals in 64 games to earn a move to Celtic.
