How PSG could line up with Marcus Rashford added to star-studded attack alongside Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are plotting a sensational move for Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford. The England international has been struggling for form at Old Trafford and a change of scenery could do him some good.

Rashford’s camp are claimed to be entering talks with “an open mind”, although PSG are yet to make a formal bid.
The 24-year-old has just one year remaining on his United contract, although the Red Devils possess the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Should PSG land their man, he would have the opportunity to rebuild his form alongside some of the world’s most potent attacking talent.
Fitting everyone in, however, would not be an easy task.

Former boss Mauricio Pochettino struggled to squeeze Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar into an XI that could press coherently enough in the Champions League.
So adding the extra element of Rashford may introduce a further dilemma.
In certain matches, new manager Christophe Galtier could possibly get away with fielding all four in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Messi would begin wide on the right, with Rashford on the left and Neymar in the No10 position behind Mbappe.

In his opening games, however, Galtier has opted for a 3-4-3 formation.
Should he try similar with the addition of Rashford, one of his attacking four would have to be dropped.
And if Rashford were to recapture his form to the extent that he makes himself undroppable, Neymar might be the man to fall out of the XI.
The back three would enable Galtier to field Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe in a formidable back line, with Marco Verratti and one of new boys Vitinha or Renato Sanches in midfield.

Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes could supply plenty of ammunition to the forwards from wing-back.
Meanwhile, Gianluigi Donnarumma looks to have won the battle to play in goal ahead of Keylor Navas.

But despite the love he has received over the years, Messi doesn’t seem to be used to it.
Footage has emerged on Twitter of Messi standing by the corner flag looking into the crowd during the French Super Cup clash in Israel last month.
As he gazed into the stands, supporters chanted “Messi, Messi, Messi!” back at him.
The 35-year-old superstar didn’t know quite what to do, waving shyly and giving a quick thumbs up to the fans before switching his attention back to the game.

Even the way he stood appeared awkward, as if he was embarrassed by the adulation.
Fans on social media were left loving him even more following the heartwarming interaction, with one writing: “He is so shy.”
Another joked: “I hate how shy Messi is for real, he could’ve given us some little dance moves.”
A third said: “How can anyone hate this guy. That pose when he joins hands, looks like a little kid.”

While another fan suggested: “He doesn’t know how massive he is.”
Luckily for PSG, Messi wasn’t too overwhelmed by the adulation.
He opened his goal tally for the season with a first half strike in an easy 4-0 win over Nantes.
And Messi looks like he means business this campaign after a mixed first term in Paris.
The Argentinian ace followed up his Super Cup strike with a brace, including an outrageous overhead kick, in the 5-0 thrashing over Clermont on Saturday. More

Paredes, 28, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Juventus, but an agreement over a fee is yet to be struck.
Despite his low ranking in the squad in terms of minutes, Paredes is said to rank quite highly in the social popularity scale at the club.
He is said to have a particular affinity with countryman Lionel Messi and Brazilian Neymar, as well as the Spanish-speaking members of the squad.
According to Get Football French News, his departure could cause a fracture in the dressing room.

Paredes initially joined the French club from Zenit in 2019 for a reported £36m, but struggled to settle in to begin with.
In his time there he has made 115 appearances, scoring three goals and registering 10 assists, including for Messi’s stunning overhead kick against Clermont.
Juventus are looking at Paredes due to the expected departure of Adrien Rabiot.
The Frenchman is reportedly on his way to Manchester United, who have opted to go for him after thus far failing to land Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.

After being excluded from the last French World Cup squad, Rabiot believes joining United would provide him with a golden opportunity to muscle his way into Didier Deschamps’s plans for Qatar.
Rabiot reportedly thinks he is guaranteed a starting spot due to United’s “weak” midfield. More

Ramsey, who scored on his Nice debut against Toulouse last Sunday just a minute after coming off the bench, says he tapped into his own contacts before making the switch to Ligue 1.
Ramsey, who played with the likes of Frenchman Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Bacary Sagna at Arsenal, where they were managed by countryman Arsene Wenger, said: “I have spoken to a lot of players from my days at Arsenal.
“I played with many French players who have experienced the French league so I spoke to a lot of them in the last few weeks.
“They told me a lot about this league, how good and technical it is. They told me about the history of the club and I was very interested in that.

“I know some great players have played here in the past and I hope to be a part of a very successful period for the club.
“The project that they want to try and achieve here is very inviting for me. I’m looking forward to it and it’s exciting. Hopefully I can contribute.”
Ramsey spent 11 years at Arsenal before leaving the Emirates for Juventus three years ago.
The 75-cap Welshman struggled for form and fitness at the Serie A giants and spent the second half of last season on loan at Rangers.

Now Rambo is excited about a fresh start on the French Riviera where he has been joined by ex-Cardiff team-mate Kasper Schmeichel, who left Leicester last week.
Ramsey added: “I went to Juventus and experienced that. Now I have experienced that, coming here it’s a lot easier for me. I know what to expect.
“The last few years were a great experience for me. I spent a long time at Arsenal, 11 years, but for me to go out and experience something different and go out of my comfort zone was great for me and my family. I’ll forever be grateful for that opportunity. But now I have a new opportunity, one I’m really excited about.
“I have played against Kasper many times. I played with him at Cardiff many years ago so it’s come full circle. We’re back as team-mates again.
“We have played a lot of games together and at the highest level so hopefully we can have an influence on some things and help the younger players even though these days they don’t need it as much.”

Ramsey’s focus is on Nice but he will also have an eye on November’s World Cup in Qatar – Wales’ first global finals appearance since 1958.
He said: “Of course, the World Cup is really important for me. But, right now, I just want to concentrate on Nice. I want to get up to match speed as quickly as possible and help my team-mates.
“Then, obviously, I will look forward to that when it comes around. My focus now is on Nice. We have a very important season ahead of us to try and achieve our targets.” More
