Wilfried Zaha ‘determined’ to leave Crystal Palace this window with PSG, Dortmund and Monaco interested in transfer

WILFRIED ZAHA is reportedly determined to find a move out of Crystal Palace this autumn.
With the transfer window open until October 12, the winger is said to be happy to wait to find his next move.

Having failed to seal a move to Everton or Arsenal last summer, Zaha spent the season with the Eagles but failed to produce his best form.
This time around, initial reports centred on Palace’s demand for a £70million fee for their academy product.
According to The Guardian, the forward is still keen to leave and will remain patient during the long, coronavirus-affected market.

Interest from these shores appears to have dried up, however.

With ambitions of playing in the Champions League, the Ivory Coast international could head abroad with clubs in France and Germany said to be interested.
Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Monaco were named in a Sky Sports report about the star’s future earlier this month.
Roy Hodgson admitted that Zaha wants a move after Palace’s slow end to the campaign saw them finish 14th.
Hodgson said in July: “It’s a dilemma for the club and a dilemma for him if he is so set on leaving.

Glenn Murray says now is the time for Wilfried Zaha to leave Crystal Palace
“If he feels he just does not want to be with us any more, that would be sad.
“We still like him very much; we can’t make him like us. This is a situation that only he and the club can sort out. I don’t have an answer.”
Ismaila Sarr of Watford is one option for Palace should Zaha vacate his spot on the left wing.
Already this summer, the Premier League side have secured West Brom youngster Nathan Ferguson and are closing in on a £15m switch for QPR’s Eberechi Eze. More

Barcelona eye Moussa Dembele as Luis Suarez replacement after Henrik Larsson ‘makes contact’ with ex-Celtic striker

FORMER Celtic star Moussa Dembele is being lined up for a stunning switch to Barcelona – by Henrik Larsson.
Lyon are ready to sell the French striker, two years after his £20million switch from Parkhead.

    2

Celtic legend and Barcelona No2 Henrik Larsson has reportedly been in contact with the striker
Dembele has been a huge success in France, netting 44 goals – including a double in the Champions League quarter-final win over Manchester City.
But after Lyon failed to qualify for Europe after finishing seventh in Ligue 1, they are willing to cash in on Dembele.
And Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims Parkhead icon and new Barca No2 Larsson has already been in contact with the 24-year-old over a move to the Camp Nou.
Larsson – who was appointed Ronald Koeman’s assistant last week – sees Dembele as an ideal replacement for Luis Suarez, who is set to leave this summer.

Dembele is also wanted by Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea and could command upwards of £50m.
Celtic cannily negotiated a sell-on clause which is estimated to earn them 10-15 per cent of any fee above the £20m fee they received when he left Glasgow in 2018 – meaning they could land as much as £5m from any deal.
And Lyon’s director of football Juninho admitted the former Celt is likely to move on.

    2

Luis Suarez is set to leave Barcelona this summer

Speaking after the semi-final defeat to Champions League winners Bayern Munich, he said: “If we continue the way we have, we will be back in the Champions League very soon.

“Players will be leaving, like Houssem Aouar and Moussa Dembele, but I’m not worried.
“We want to secure Champions League football next season.”

Neymar dyes half his hair blonde as he reveals wacky new style during Ibiza getaway with his son

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN forward Neymar has jetted off to Ibiza as he looks to get over his Champions League final heartbreak.
The 28-year-old – who has dyed half his hair blonde – was inconsolable after the defeat to Bayern Munich.

Neymar was so distraught that he had to be persuaded to collect his runners-up medal – much to the disappointment of Rio Ferdinand.
But he has been putting on a smile after he shared snaps and clips of him enjoying the Spanish sunshine with son Davi, nine.
And in a post he uploaded on his Instagram story, Neymar showed off a bizarre new look.
Posing in the pool alongside Davi, Neymar could be seen with half his hair dyed blonde.

That new hairstyle was also highlighted in a clip Neyar posted of him playing kick-ups with his son.
The video has been watched almost eight million times, with his followers quick to comment on the post.
And unsurprisingly, it was Davi that had the last touch as he failed to keep the ball in the air.

Lionel Messi transfer to PSG ‘impossible’ because £95MILLION salary is more than Neymar and Mbappe combined

LIONEL MESSI’S transfer to Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly impossible – because his £95million salary is more than Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s COMBINED.
The Argentina great, 33, told Barcelona he wanted to quit the club he joined almost 20 years ago following a major fallout with the board.

    3

And it was thought mega-rich PSG, essentially bankrolled by the Qatari state, would be among the front-runners tussling for Messi’s signature.
But according to L’Equipe, even the Ligue 1 champions will not be able to afford the mind-boggling wages – regardless of whether there is a transfer fee.
Messi earns around £64m per year in basic wages – approximately £1.2m per week.
But he then pockets extra for signing, staying and winning trophies.

It is said appearing in 60 per cent of matches until his Barcelona contract expiry bumps his average earnings up to £95m.
Add in winning the treble and Fifa’s Player of the Year award to boost that by another £15m.
The crazy numbers dwarf the money earned by PSG’s two current superstars.
Neymar bags around £620,000 per week as the French side’s highest-paid player, working out as £32.2m across 12 months.

That meant he was on more than the entire Atalanta squad they scraped past in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Mbappe is next on around £280,000 per week – or £14.5m a year – while Thiago Silva, whose contract expired and is now set to sign for Chelsea, was on £190,000 per week, which equated to just shy of £10m across the year.
It means together, the PSG front pair earn around £47m – well below Messi’s basic salary before bonus are even taken into consideration.
And with PSG seemingly out of the question, Manchester City will be even more confident of a deal.
The Etihad club are in pole position to sign Messi should he be allowed to leave Barca – with Pep Guardiola ready for a reunion and reports suggesting Jorge Messi, the legend’s dad, has flown to Manchester to discuss a transfer.
City chief executive Ferran Soriano believes that his side will successfully swoop in and take the six-time Ballon d’Or winner for free.

The 53-year-old, however, has reached out to Messi’s camp to assure them that City can afford to sign him – even if they have to pay a transfer fee on top of his mammoth weekly wages.
Messi believes he is entitled to leave for free due to a clause in his contract but the Nou Camp side insist anyone wanting to buy their captain must stump up £631m.
Chelsea and Inter Milan continue to be linked, but Manchester United are thought to be out of the chase.

PSG ‘rule out’ Lionel Messi transfer leaving Man City with clear run at blockbuster deal for Barcelona legend

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN will not bid for wantaway Barcelona star Lionel Messi, according to reports.
The Argentine has lodged a shock transfer request at the Camp Nou, setting off what could turn into a huge legal battle.

    3

With Messi attempting to enact a contract release clause, the club believe that option expired weeks ago and are demanding a fee as high as £630million for his exit.
Add on the striker’s astronomical wages and it is clear that very few teams can afford to cut a deal.
Champions League finalists PSG were tipped to enter the running having splashed out on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the past.

However, as Marca report, it is because of those expensive attacking acquisitions that the Parisians cannot bid this time around.

With Mauro Icardi recently added to the expensively assembled frontline, PSG do not see any scope for Messi in both a tactical and an economical sense.
Thomas Tuchel is said to be focusing on two defensive signings and a midfielder having released high earning veterans Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani.
Manchester City and Inter Milan are the two remaining frontrunners for Messi’s signature – with Pep Guardiola’s side holding a clear advantage.
The Spaniard’s excellent relationship with his former Camp Nou colleague has already sparked reports of conversations between the pair.

    3

Furthermore, the Premier League club are thought to have a chance of fitting Messi into their Financial Fair Play plans.
But it is on the pitch where City are most superior to their Italian rivals, with Inter far from a side that can regularly compete for the major honours Messi is accustomed to.
Nonetheless, there is hope in Milan that only they can meet the 33-year-old’s financial demands as the summer’s biggest saga turns into a two horse race.

    3

And Barcelona still hope to persuade their talisman to stay.
Technical director Ramon Planes stated on Wednesday: “We do not contemplate any contractual exit, because we want Leo to stay.
Internally we are working long hours to find the best solution for Barcelona and for Leo.”

Five clubs Lionel Messi could join including Man Utd, City and Chelsea after handing in Barcelona transfer request

LIONEL MESSI is on the verge of quitting Barcelona after requesting to leave his boyhood club.
The 33-year-old Nou Camp legend demanded Barca exercise a clause in his contract that would allow him to quit for nothing with immediate effect.

But the Spanish giants believe the stipulation expired expired on June 10, with the Argentine superstar under contract until the summer of 2021.
Club and player seem set for a legal battle over the clause, with Barcelona believing his €700m (£629m) buy-out clause is still valid.
And with wages totalling £1.15m per week – it leaves very few teams capable of facilitating a move for Messi – here SunSport list five possible options.
    MANCHESTER CITY
Since Pep Guardiola – who managed Messi for four seasons – took over at the Etihad in 2016, he has spent £700m on transfers.

It indicates they have the backing to pull off a mega-money transfer for Messi, despite escaping a Financial Fair Play penalty this year.
Acccording to Radio Catalunya, Messi has already spoken to Guardiola about a move to Manchester.
And having grown frustrated throughout last season, reuniting with a familiar face could convince the forward to choose City.

    PSG
The French champions, like City, seem to have no limits when it comes to the transfer market.
Having already broke the record when they signed Neymar for £198m from Barca three years ago, PSG are not afraid to role the dice and break the bank.
It has been claimed Messi is open to linking up with strike partner Neymar again, with the Ligue 1 kings desperate to win the Champions League.
But Messi’s £64m-a-year basic wages could prove to be a problem even for PSG, who pay £33m to Neymar and £19m to Kylian Mbappe every season.

    4

It has been claimed Messi is open to linking up with strike partner Neymar again
    MANCHESTER UNITED
United have reportedly not wasted any time in making contact with Messi’s representatives regarding a transfer.
That is despite the fact they have so far failed to stump up the cash for Jadon Sancho – who Borussia Dortmund value at £108m.
Messi is also said to prefer a move to Manchester rivals City or PSG over United.
But SPORT, say Old Trafford bosses are confident they have the funds to pursue the sensation move.

    4

    CHELSEA
The Blues looked disinterested in tempting Messi to London – until Rio Ferdinand tweeted news that Frank Lampard was in for the Argentine.
Chelsea last season completed deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner and have carried over the spending to this season.
They are close to wrapping up transfers for Kai Havertz, Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell – while also testing the market for a keeper.
Making a swoop for Messi at this time seems unlikely, even if they do raise funds from money made by flogging unwanted flops.

    INTER MILAN
Throughout Messi’s Barca turmoil this year, Serie A giants Inter Milan are understood to have been monitoring the situation
Their former owner Massimo Moratti even revealed the club will plan to prize the six-time Ballon d’Or winner to Italy.
Inter have the backing of Chinese chairman Steven Zhang, son of billionaire Zhang Jindong.
Messi’s dad is also believed to have a home in Milan, fuelling speculation his son could be plotting a switch to the San Siro.

Thiago Silva’s free transfer to Chelsea ‘almost done’ after Champions League final heartbreak

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN icon Thiago Silva’s free transfer to Chelsea is “almost done”, according to reports.
The 35-year-old became a free agent after his side’s Champions League heartbreak against Bayern Munich and he is reportedly on his way to Stamford Bridge.

Bayern ground out a 1-0 victory over Silva’s side in the Champions League final in Lisbon.
But while representing the Ligue 1 giants in Portugal, discussions over Silva’s new club have been brewing in the background.
The Blues were said to be in “advanced talks” two days ago.

And now the deal is “almost done”, according to the Athletic.

Following the match, Silva said thank you to PSG fans as he tweeted: “It was my last match in Paris.
“I’m sad. I apologize to the supporters. I thank all the fans for their love.”
Thomas Tuchel also confirmed PSG would be “losing” the Brazilian in his post-match interview.
Despite turning 36 next month, Silva still backs himself to perform at the highest level.

And BT Sport pundit Steve McManaman believes Silva would be a welcome addition to the Chelsea side.
Speaking about the potential free signing, McManaman said: “Football is all about the now.
“You can’t plan about five, six or seven years because the manager might not even be there then.
“For the here and now he is an excellent defender.”
Silva has also long admired the Premier League, and is keen on a move to England.
But after eight years and seven Ligue 1 titles in France, his commitment to PSG still shines through.

Tuchel’s side made the surprise call to opt against renewing his deal but only this week Silva suggested he could still sign an extension if PSG were to change their minds.
He told the club’s website: “The club turns 50 and it’s the last year of my deal.
    “I gave everything I could.

“If I can continue to play with the club, we will discuss it and make the best decision.”
Chelsea are usually reluctant to hand anything more than a one-year contract to players in their 30s, although did renege on this habit with David Luiz last year.
They had also been willing to offer Willian, 32, a two-year deal prior to his switch to Arsenal.
