Mbappe, 21, trained with France on Monday, looking all smiles as he hugged PSG teammate Presnel Kimpembe before touching larking around with Lille ace Jonathan Ikone.
He was also pictured stretching in the middle of a group of teammates.
Mbappe has now left France’s squad with immediate effect, meaning he will miss tomorrow’s Nations League clash with Croatia.
He will now also be absent for the start of PSG’s Ligue 1 campaign, sitting out clashes with Lens and Marseille.

A statement from the FFF read: “Kylian Mbappe will not participate in France-Croatia, Tuesday evening at 8.45pm at the Stade de France.
“The result of his Covid-19 test, carried out by Uefa on Monday morning, was found to be positive, he was placed away from the group after receiving the results, at the end of training, before regaining his home in the evening.
‌”Like the entire delegation, Kylian Mbappe had undergone a test prior to meeting. The result was negative, like the one last Wednesday, at the request of Uefa.”
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele were both forced to withdraw from international duty before Saturday’s 1-0 win over Sweden after testing positive for coronavirus.

And Mbappe joins PSG teammates Neymar, Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi and Leandro Paredes on the sidelines after they too contracted Covid-19 following last month’s Champions League final defeat to Bayern Munich.
He will now self-isolate for a fortnight.
PSG chief Leonardo was left raging at the France national team after finding out his star player contracted coronavirus through the media.
He fumed: “I find it completely unacceptable to learn in the media that one of our players was positive. Nobody at the FFF told us.”
The news is sure to be a bitter blow for both France boss Didier Deschamps and PSG chief Thomas Tuchel.

Four Premier League teams crack the top ten highest wage bills in Europe

Indeed, Deschamps even switched formation to a 3-4-1-2 against Sweden in an effort to get Mbappe closer to goal.
His absence could hand Manchester United’s Anthony Martial a rare international start.
Mbappe has scored 14 times in 35 games for France while bagging an impressive 90 goals in just three years at PSG.
But after their Champions League heartbreak against Bayern in August, Mbappe has called on PSG to splash even more cash in order to land Europe’s top prize.

He told Telefoot: “I am optimistic we will win the Champions League.
“We have to because, if we don’t believe it, no one is going to believe it for us.
“It’s football and you have to get over it. Lots of teams lost a final and won the year after.
“You have to recruit well, you have to buy players. I hope we will have good recruits and we restart with the aim of doing better.”

PSG wanted Lionel Messi transfer during Barcelona row and thought ‘is it f***ing possible?’, admits chief Leonardo

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed the club were considering making a move to sign Lionel Messi this summer.
The 51-year-old has stated the club’s interest in the Barcelona star was peaked when he handed in a transfer request at the Nou Camp.

Manchester City were believed to be favourites to land the 33-year-old should the Blaugrana have allowed him to leave.

But the LaLiga side were demanding any potential suitors to stump up £630million after stating Messi was not allowed to depart for free.
This led the six-time Ballon d’Or winner to perform a U-turn on his future, with the player to now see out the final year of his contract in Catalonia.

And PSG chief Leonardo has declared Les Parisiens weighed up bringing the Argentine international to France, comparing the deal to when they signed David Beckham.
Speaking to Telefoot via Goal about whether the Ligue 1 outfit were keen, he said: “Today when you think about the financial situation it’s complicated.
“When we are told Messi wants to leave, we are tempted.
“You say to yourself, will it be f***ing possible?

“They are players completely out of any discussion.

    3

“I don’t know, David Beckham ended up at Paris Saint-Germain, Messi ending up in Paris? I don’t know.
“It’s football, in the end, everyone’s sitting at the table, everyone knows everything, and it’s moving forward.”
It has now been said that Messi will not decide on his long-term future until the next Barca president is announced.

Kylian Mbappe urges PSG to splash cash in transfer market to end Champions League hoodoo

KYLIAN MBAPPE has called on Paris Saint-Germain to spend even more money this summer if they want to end their wait for Champions League glory.
PSG reached the Champions League final for the first time last season but lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the Lisbon showpiece.

    1

Kylian Mbappe believes PSG can win the Champions League if they recruit well
With a number of first-team stars departing this summer, Mbappe is hoping the big-spending French champions can make some smart moves in the transfer market in order to go one better next season.
Mbappe told Telefoot: “Of course I am optimistic that we will win the Champions League.
“We have to because, if we don’t believe it, no one is going to believe it for us.
“It’s football and you have to get over it. Lots of teams lost a final and won the year after.

“Obviously, PSG grew up with this final. Before, we had this block of the quarter-finals, now we broke that.

“You have to recruit well, you have to buy players.
“I hope we will have good recruits and that we can restart the season with the aim of doing better.”
Edinson Cavani, Thomas Meunier and Thiago Silva have all left the Paris this summer while Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was also set to depart but now looks likely to be offered a new deal.

Mbappe scored the only goal of the game as France beat Sweden 1-0 in the Nations League on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is still struggling with the ankle injury that kept him on the bench for the start of PSG’s Champions League quarter-final win over Atalanta in August, and is a doubt for Les Blues’ match with Croatia on Tuesday.

It remains to be seen whether the injury will keep him out of the start of PSG’s Ligue 1 campaign, which kicks off on September 10 against Lens.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already been rocked by the potential postponement of that fixture though, after SIX first-team players tested positive for Covid-19.
Neymar, Marquinhos, Mauro Icardi and Leandro Paredes are all thought to have contracted the virus after holidaying together in Ibiza while Keylor Navas and Angel Di Maria also contracted the virus.

Wolves announce Marcal transfer as veteran Lyon defender becomes second signing of window

WOLVES have completed the signing of Lyon defender Marcal on a two-year deal.
After Nuno Espirito Santo lost first-choice left-back Jonny to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, the club have moved to bolster the coach’s options down that flank.

The Spaniard could be out for another eight months after picking up the nasty injury in August’s Europa League tie with Olympiacos.
And with Ruben Vinagre left alone in the left-back spot, Marcal has arrived for £1.8million.
The Brazilian, 31, had already appeared for Lyon in their Ligue 1 opener against Dijon having featured 26 times last term.
In the French club’s run to the Champions League semi-finals, he started all four of their knockout matches.

Furthermore, he occasionally shifted over to play centrally in a three-man defence similar to Nuno’s setup at Molineux.
Marcal is due to arrive at Wolves on Monday for coronavirus testing, before a potential English football debut against Sheffield United seven days later.

Wolves executive chairman Jeff Shi told the club website: “He is a player with the technical ability to be able to contribute in the build up play from the back, all the way through to threatening the opposition in the final phase.”
Full name Fernando Marcal Oliveira, he came through the ranks at Gremio before being spotted by Portuguese lower league side Torreense.

A strong spell at Nacional earned a move to Benfica, after which he spent time on loan in Turkey and France ahead of signing for Lyon for £4m in 2017.
He becomes the Midlands club’s second first-team signing of the summer after the £35m arrival of striker starlet Fabio Silva from Porto.

Real Madrid plot astonishing £261MILLION transfer splurge on Mbappe, Haaland and Camavinga next summer

REAL MADRID are reportedly desperate to bring Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Eduardo Camavingo to the Bernabeu next summer.
Los Blancos aren’t in a position to spend big this window due to the coronavirus crisis, but they plan to go all out in 2021.

The three players they are looking to sign are Mbappe, Haaland and Camavinga, who are worth a combined £261milion according to Transfermarkt.

ABC report how the trio are firmly on the radar of Zinedine Zidane, with the Frenchman keen on a huge squad overhaul.
Rennes midfielder Camavinga is understood to have been identified as the perfect long-term successor to Casemiro.
It has been said that if the club wasn’t affected by Covid-19, the 17-year-old would already be a Los Blancos player.

Real are also desperate to bolster their attack, with Mbappe to potentially cost less next summer with his Paris Saint-Germain contract to expire in 2022.
And Madrid want Haaland to spearhead their front-line with Mbappe and Hazard to play either side of him.
Borussia Dortmund are desperate to keep hold of the Norwegian international, but the Budesliga side are aware of Real’s interest in the forward.

Real know they still have to get plenty of players off their books in order to raise funds, with James Rodriguez the first person to leave as Everton close in on a deal.

And they are hoping Manchester United sign left-back Sergio Reguilon for £27m having offered the player to the Red Devils.
Zidane remains desperate to offload Bale, but the former Tottenham ace’s £15.1million-a-year wages have put off potential suitors.

Jamie Redknapp tips Thiago Silva to be Chelsea’s best transfer ahead of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz

THIAGO SILVA could be Chelsea’s best transfer of the summer, according to Jamie Redknapp.
The Sky pundit heaped praise on his cousin Frank Lampard for bringing the Brazilian in and reckons he could prove more valuable than other new signings Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.

    2

Thiago Silva could be Chelsea’s best transfer of the summer window

    2

That is according to Jamie Redknapp – cousin of Chelsea boss Frank Lampard
Silva, 35, signed a one-year deal with the option of another year at Stamford Bridge last week and Redknapp can’t wait to see him in action.
He said: “That might end up being the best signing for them because of his experience.
“It might not be the most exciting one but with their young players, sometimes you need someone that can come in and just calm everyone down.
“He’s got amazing know-how, playing at the top throughout his career for the likes of PSG and AC Milan.

“He’s a winner, he’s played in the Champions League and captained his country.
“He will be a brilliant addition. It will be interesting to see who Lampard sees as his best defensive partner.”
Werner, 24, arrived in a £53million – including add-ons – transfer from RB Leipzig in June and has already scored his first Chelsea goal in their friendly at Brighton.
Ziyech’s £36.5million deal was confirmed in February but saw the 27-year-old remain with Ajax until the end of the campaign.

And Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, 21, has reportedly left Germany’s Nations League camp to complete his £90m switch to the Blues.
And Redknapp has been impressed with their business so far.
He added: “Chelsea are on the verge of building something special.
“It will take time and there will be ups and downs.

“You’ve got Ziyech who can play on the wings and Havertz is a super talent who can play in a number of positions.
“He would bring goals, pace, ability. That would be a great signing, not just for now but for the future.
“It would be a great addition to what is already an exciting team.”

Nara is enjoying a break on the luxury liner with her husband Mauri Icardi and their family
Images show the 33-year-old in a black two piece pretending to climb the stairs as the little one tried to get the perfect shot.
The agent and model also posed on a chair with the ocean acting as backdrop before she was seen checking the quality of the shots on her phone.
Nara has five children in total – three of which are ex-husband Maxi Lopez’s.

Valentino, Constantino and Benedicto are Lopez’s and she has two daughters with Icardi – Francesca and Isabella.

No expense was spared as Icardi, 27, and Nara – who is also her husband’s agent – jetted off for their holiday on the Spanish isle.
The couple boarded a private jet, lounged in their infinity pool and partied with Neymar.
Earlier this year, Nara – who recently posted a picture of her son in an Arsenal top – and Lopez had a bust up.
Nara posted pictures on Instagram of her children back in Italy during lockdown where Icardi has a property.

Bayern Munich are now the joint-fifth-most successful team in Europe

And Lopez – who was ditched by Wanda in 2013 when she began a fling with his former friend and teammate Icardi – was furious because the coronavirus rate in Italy was so high at the time.
Lopez met Icardi when the pair were team-mates at Sampdoria in 2012 and they became friends.
Not long after they met, reports of the alleged affair between Nara and Icardi surfaced – with Icardi explaining in his book how Nara texted him when she was still married.
Lopez and Nara split and began divorce proceedings in December 2013.
The model subsequently married Icardi just five months later in May 2014.
Nara recently stunned her followers with a sultry shot of herself in a £300k Lamborghini.
