How PSG could line up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe as French side CONFIRM transfer interest in Juventus star

CRISTIANO RONALDO would slot right into the Paris Saint-Germain line-up if the French side can complete an audacious swoop for the star.
Les Parisiens sporting director Leonardo has asserted that his side are capable of pulling off a deal for the 35-year-old.

Should he arrive, the forward could play anywhere in an awesome frontline – rotating around Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Plenty of attacking threat would come from the midfield too with Angel Di Maria and Marco Verratti providing the ammunition.
Idrissa Gueye is also capable of bombing into the box and gobbling up Ronaldo’s knockdowns.
And options off the bench would be pretty reasonable as well, including Mauro Icardi, Leandro Paredes and Rafinha.

Leonardo has claimed that PSG are set to bounce back well from the coronavirus pandemic’s financial crisis.
Despite saying that his side are going without at least 20 per cent of their income during the chaos, the Brazilian is confident that his side can afford Ronaldo.

Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.

Reports suggest Juve are dealing less well with the pandemic and could hear out offers for their star striker.
If that is the case, Leonardo believes PSG could be first in line.

He told PSGTV: “Today in football we do not know what will happen.
“Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.

“Who can buy him? It’s a closed circle.

PSG confirm entering Cristiano Ronaldo transfer race as chief Leonardo reveals ‘maybe he will quit’ Juventus tomorrow

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have opened the door to a sensational move for Cristiano Ronaldo.

And sporting director Leonardo believes PSG are one of the few teams capable of doing a deal.
He told PSGTV: “Today in football we do not know what will happen.
“Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.
“Who can buy him? It’s a closed circle.

“PSG enters this circle. Usually it is about opportunities, situations.
“The transfer window, we have to prepare for it and that’s what we do. We have our priorities, our lists, but something unforeseen can happen.”

How PSG could line-up with the Portuguese superstar
Ronaldo, 35, earns approximately £540,000-a-week at Juventus and has led the side to Serie A titles in each of his two years in Turin.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, even the richest clubs have suffered financially and PSG are no different.

Yet Leonardo has stated that the club’s ‘ambition’ and ‘capacity’ to push ahead regardless is strong.
He continued: “Last year we lost between 15 and 20 per cent [income] and this year it will be more.
“But honestly, at PSG, there is the capacity and the means to overcome the crisis.
“The other clubs will perhaps have more difficulty to overcome the crisis. But the ambition here is always enormous.”

Juventus sit fifth in the Serie A table after drawing four of their opening seven games under Andrea Pirlo.
Ronaldo continued his run of scoring in every league game he has played this season, netting six times either side of a spell out with coronavirus.
Reports in Spain have already suggested that the Old Lady are open to offers for the veteran, whose contract runs to 2022.
According to Sport, the severe impact of the pandemic on the club has made a sale possible with Ronaldo also linked to Manchester United and Wolves.

PSG open contract talks with Neymar and Real Madrid transfer target Mbappe, confirms club chief Leonardo

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are ‘talking directly’ with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over new contracts, sporting director Leonardo has revealed.
The superstar duo both arrived in the French capital back in 2017.

But rumours have rumbled over the pair wanting moves to Spain in recent times.
Mbappe, 21, has long been touted for a move to Real Madrid.
While Neymar, 28, is repeatedly linked with a return to Barcelona.
But Leonardo is working on extending both deals beyond 2022.

And Angel Di Maria, whose deal expires at the end of this season, could also be sticking around.
Leonardo, 51, told PSG’s website: “We’ve started negotiations with Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria to extend their contracts.”
And the star trio aren’t the only players that the Brazilian is working on tying down.
He continued: “Bernat, too, and Draxler is at the end of his contract. Some young people too. We will intensify this.

“Remember that PSG suffered financial losses this year, we’re in a complicated moment and it’s not easy, but we’re talking directly with Mbappe and Neymar.
“There is a question of timing. The idea of an extension exists. We have arrived at the moment when we must have clearer situations.”
PSG surprisingly opted to borrow Everton striker Moise Kean for the season, after the Italian struggled to dislodge Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison.
The 20-year-old has hit the ground running at Parc des Princes, but the Ligue 1 club do NOT have the option to make the deal permanent.
Leonardo added: “We don’t have an option to buy Moise Kean, unfortunately.
“He’s here on loan from Everton. Kean is a great striker for the future, but loan deals in the UK are a bit different, an option to buy is not included in our deal with Everton.”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s five potential transfer options if Juventus cash in including Man Utd, PSG… and Wolves

CRISTIANO RONALDO will have no shortage of options if Juventus decide to sell him next summer.
The Serie A side are reportedly planning to cash in on the 35-year-old before his contract expires in 2022.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo rakes in a whopping £540,000-per-week in Turin.
But given the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, a contract renewal is unlikely.
To avoid losing him on a free, Juventus could be forced to sell him next summer.
They will be hoping to recoup some of the £99million they forked out to sign him in 2018 from Real Madrid.

But which teams will be in the race to sign the Portuguese superstar? SunSport have pulled together five of the most likely options.
    Manchester United
The Red Devils would welcome Ronaldo back with open arms – but his wage requests could pose a problem.
David De Gea is their highest-paid player on £375,000-per-week, which is less than Ronaldo would demand.
Ronaldo played for United from 2003 until 2009 after he joined from Sporting Lisbon for just £12.24m.

He shot to fame at Old Trafford after scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances for the club.
No doubt United fans would love to see him link up alongside Portugal team-mate Bruno Fernandes in the starting line-up.
    Paris Saint-Germain
Ronaldo has dominated the Premier League with United, LaLiga with Real Madrid and Serie A with Juventus.
The 35-year-old would surely jump at the chance to conquer France’s top-flight before he hangs up his boots.
PSG have reportedly lined up a move for Ronaldo as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
He has entertained the idea of joining Thomas Tuchel’s side in the past.
And reports from France claim he came close to joining them before the coronavirus lockdown hit.

    Inter Miami
Ronaldo told former team-mate Nani that he will ‘probably play’ in America’s MLS.
Nani, who plays for Orlando City, said: “A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America.
“It’s not 100 per cent but probably. There is a chance.”
Ronaldo would reunite with former Real Madrid team-mate Gonzalo Hugain if he joined Inter Miami.
David Beckham’s team have also set their sights on snapping up Sergio Ramos.

    Wolves
A shock contender for Ronaldo’s signature could be Premier League side Wolves.
And that is because of Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes acts as an adviser to Wolves and some of his clients have ended up joining them as a result.
He manages Ronaldo as well as Jose Mourinho, James Rodriuez, Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria.

    China
If he’s demanding the big bucks, China would be a smart move for Ronaldo.
In 2016, it was reported by Mendes that an un-named Chinese club offered Madrid £270m to sign him.
They were allegedly prepared to pay him around £90m-per-year in wages.
Lionel Messi has also refused to rule out a move to China and looks to set to leave Barcelona when his deal expires.
Could the two greatest players on the planet both wind down their careers together in China? We’ll see.

Renato Sanches to be offered second Premier League chance after Swansea nightmare as Wolves eye transfer

WOLVES are planning a January move for Lille’s former Premier League flop Renato Sanches, according to reports.
The Portugal midfielder has rebuilt his reputation with the French club, helping them go second in Ligue 1.

Sanches had a disastrous spell on loan to Swansea three seasons ago as the Welsh club dropped out of the top flight.
However the former Benfica and Bayern Munich starlet has since recaptured the form that saw him win the 2016 Golden Boy prize for Europe’s best player under the age of 21.
Wolves’ Portuguese boss Nuno Espirito Santo has raided his home country to bring a host of players to Molineux since taking charge in 2017.
And he is now reported by CalcioMercato to want to add 21-cap Sanches to his squad during the January window.

The player is thought to be tempted by a second crack at the Premier League, believing he has unfinished business in England.
And the prospects of linking up with NINE Portuguese first-teamers, plus being managed by fellow countryman Nuno, are sure to act as further incentives.

However Lille will likely play hardball for Sanches, who became their record signing when arriving from Bayern in a £22m deal two summers ago.
The Amadora-born midfielder is under contract with the northern French club until 2023.

Sanches managed just 12 appearances during his ill-fated spell with Swansea.
He was once subbed at half-time after apparently passing the ball to an advertising board – believing it to be a teammate.

PSG boss Tuchel hails ex-Man Utd star Ander Herrera for ‘dying in the dressing room’ in amazing display vs Rennes

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has hailed former Manchester United star Ander Herrera who ‘died in the dressing room’ after a tireless performance against Rennes.
The Ligue 1 holders ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from another ex-United player in Angel Di Maria but it was Herrera who drew the most attention from his manager for a lung-busting display.

And it was an important win for Paris-Saint Germain amid an injury crisis which has left the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Marco Veratti on the sidelines.
Tuchel believes Herrera’s energy made up for absentees and was instrumental in leaving PSG five points clear at the top.
The German boss said after the match: “Ander was dead before the match. He died in the dressing room tonight.
“What he did was exceptional. The same for Leandro Paredes.

“We played a really good Rennes team but we showed a good mentality and a collective effort. It was a great win.”
Tuchel was also left impressed with the brace bagged by Di Maria, who was Herrera’s teammate during his stint at Old Trafford.
The winger assisted the first goal when he intercepted the Rennes’ goalkeeper’s pass and nipped in to play it to Moise Kean.
The Everton loanee collected the pass before slamming a shot into the bottom corner.

Di Maria then made it 2-0 after 20 minutes when a brilliant pass by Herrera put him through on goal.

He audaciously chipped the keeper before watching the ball dip into the net.
The Argentine got PSG’s third in the second half as he drove a wonderful low effort past the keeper.
It was a much-needed performance for the 32-year-old after he missed a crucial penalty in PSG’s midweek Champions League loss to RB Leipzig.
Tuchel said: “Angel likes to play a lot to get his rhythm. He was suspended for four games and it was very difficult for him – and serious for us.
“After his missed penalty in Leipzig, which was a key moment, he was very sad. Today, he took his responsibilities and gave a good response.
“That’s sport. There will be difficult and sad moments, but you must get up. He did that and I’m very happy.”

The only downside for the manager was more injury concerns.
He added: “Moise Kean took a lot of blows, and he already had pains before the match. We used him a lot and physically, he was exceptional. I hope there’s nothing too serious for him.
“Idrissa Gueye is suffering again with his hamstring, and for Thilo Kehrer, it’s the same groin injury. That means it’s grave. Alessandro Florenzi is not injured. He was very tired.”

Neymar ‘tells PSG he wants to renew contract and has even started scouting market for world-class transfers to join him’

NEYMAR has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain he wants a new contract – and is already helping the French club scout for signings.
Eight straight Ligue 1 wins have Les Parisiens comfortably top of the table, although the Brazilian missed Saturday’s 3-0 win over Rennes through injury.

Neymar has reportedly recommended signings to improve the Paris Saint-Germain teamCredit: AFP or licensors

Neymar has missed over half of his side’s games this year due to a combination of coronavirus, suspension and a recently accrued groin problem.
But he is confident of remaining a focal point of the team and is said to want a new contract.
According to Telefoot, the forward has told sporting director Leonardo that he wants to renew his deal, which expires in 2022.
In addition, Neymar has reportedly started scouting out players from around the world who can strengthen PSG’s squad.

The international break is expected to see the club’s Qatari investors and board hold a summit to discuss their next steps.
Thomas Tuchel’s position as coach is thought to be under minor threat but the German is likely to stay in the job amid PSG’s poor start in the Champions League.

And while renewing Neymar’s contract is said to be something the club want to do, it is not seen as an urgent priority.
It has previously been reported that the 28-year-old will accept the same £600,000-a-week terms he is currently on.

There were rumours that PSG would lose the world-record signing to Barcelona in the summer of 2019.
Neymar reportedly told the club he wanted to leave although a transfer could not be agreed.

And Barcelona’s massive financial crisis means a fresh bid is highly unlikely.
Therefore Kylian Mbappe’s contract situation is seen as a more pressing matter.
Real Madrid are thought to be very keen on the striker, whose deal also expires in 2022.
Mbappe has reportedly been offered a deal that would see him earn the same mega pay packet as Neymar, although no agreement has been reached.

Real Madrid plan for new wave of Galacticos with stunning triple transfer for Mbappe, Haaland and Camavinga

REAL MADRID are reportedly planning a stunning triple swoop to bring in Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Eduardo Camavinga.
Los Blancos have cash to spend next year having failed to sign anyone this summer due to the coronavirus crisis, while their key targets were not available.

This is how Real Madrid could start if they sign all their key targets

According to AS, Zinedine Zidane’s side are in pole position to land Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland when he decides to leave the German club.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move to sign the Norway international, but it is believed Real are at the front of the queue.
The Spanish news outlet also claims that Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is being chased by Zizou.
Meanwhile Rennes starlet Camavinga remains a priority for Real as they look to replace the ageing Luka Modric.

SunSport reported in September how the trio were being eyed up by Real as they plan for a new wave of Galacticos.
Should Real manage to sign the exciting youngsters, they would most certainly boast one of the most lethal sides in Europe.
Thibaut Courtois would retain his place between the sticks, while Dani Carvajal would start at right-back with Ferland Mendy to edge out Marcelo at left-back.
The centre-back pairing would likely be Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane with the two having formed a formidable partnership.

Brazilian defensive midfielder Casemiro would likely sit in front of the back four, with Toni Kroos and Camavinga playing slightly ahead.
To accommodate Eden Hazard featuring on the left wing, Mbappe may be shunted out on the right wing, despite it not being his natural position.
Despite Karim Benzema impressing of late for Real, he could find himself on the bench in favour of Haaland.
A wealth of attacking talent would also be on the bench, as Zidane would not only be able to rely on Benzema, but also Vinicius Junior, Isco and potentially Gareth Bale.
