Fury was cut and DROPPED by the boxing novice in the third round of the crossover clash, which will live long in the memory of boxing fans.
And according to Martin Bakole, the WBC king’s lack of adequate preparation from a sparring perspective almost resulted in him suffering his first professional loss.
He told iFL TV: “I’ve never seen Tyson training like that. He was doing four rounds, six rounds in the gym for sparring.
“Maybe he’s watching this and knows he wasn’t 100 per cent focused.

On Thursday, his impressive results were showcased on the front of Men’s Health magazine.
And the outspoken promoter, who represents heavyweight superstar Anthony Joshua, admits his trimmer look has given him even more confidence.
Speaking to Men’s Health UK, he said: “When I wake up in the morning, I go into the bathroom and I get a glimpse of myself and go, ‘F**king hell yeah,’ and that’s good enough.
“That makes me feel great for the day.”

Hearn, who ran the London Marathon in 2014, always “hated” the gym until recently.
But he knew he had to do something about his health as he entered middle age – with the Essex-born businessman conceding he once feared for his life.
Referencing how the demands of his job escalated in 2021, he said: “The workload trebled, and I just thought to myself, one, you can’t do this for very long if you continue living the same lifestyle, and two, you might die.
“As extreme as that sounds, I’ve got a history of heart problems in the family.

Now his outlook has completely changed as he focuses on improving his fitness even further.
He added: “Right now, physically, I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my life, and I’m 44 years old.

Lewis Hamilton’s ex-trainer reveals biggest challenge of working with Mercedes star and names hardest F1 track

LEWIS HAMILTON’S former trainer has revealed what the biggest challenge of training the Formula One great was. Antti Vierula was part of Hamilton’s support crew between 2011 and 2012 while the Brit was still with McLaren.

Since then Hamilton has gone on to rack up a total of seven F1 world titles, six of which have come at Mercedes.
However, speaking to OLBG, Vierula has now opened up on what the main challenge to working with him was.
He said: “You try and get the best out of the time you have, and that’s the case for training any athlete.
“The racing schedule is so demanding, and the biggest challenge is weaving training into that schedule.
    READ MORE IN F1
“The training can’t hurt the athlete or stress them too much. Training also can’t deplete the energy levels. You learn a lot about the athletes you’re training as you spend time with them.
“The coach has to adapt training to the specifics of the individual, but that’s something you naturally learn as time goes on.”
Vierula, who now trains Hamilton’s former team-mate Valtteri Bottas, previously revealed the type of training they got up to.
He told Grosvenor Sport how Hamilton loved running, while Bottas preferred cycling.

The workouts also included intense training for the muscles on his backside.
Hamilton, 38, paired up with Angela Cullen in 2016, with the duo only going their separate ways ahead of the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix earlier this season.
Following the split, Vierula backed Cullen’s comments that Hamilton “got the best out of everyone”.
He said: “I liked working with Lewis, it was a joy, he’s a passionate guy on the track. He was brilliant in getting everything out of the car and engineers, he pushes people to get the best out of everyone.
“He would work hard getting answers from engineers, giving his opinion about what he thinks is right. He had a brilliant will to improve.”
Hamilton is staring down his second winless F1 season in a row, having always managed to win at least one race every season prior to 2022.
His W14 Mercedes struggled at last weekend’s Brazil Grand Prix, and he admitted Max Verstappen and Red Bull would likely be the dominant force over the next couple of seasons.
However, Vierula does not believe Brazil is among the hardest tracks to race on.
Instead, Vierula declared Japan’s Suzuka Circuit was the most difficult track on the calendar.
He said: “I’d say the hardest tracks are the ones with high-speed corners. There’s a lot of braking involved, and those kinds of tracks are the most demanding.
“I’d say Suzuka is the hardest for the neck, the high speed corners give drivers a lot of work.
    Read More on The Sun
“Also Hungaroring is physically demanding, not many straights really, always turning somewhere.
“Monaco and Singapore are tough as well, there are a lot of corners and not really any straight lines to rest. It requires a high level of focus all the time.”

Inside Tyson Fury’s 6,000 calorie-a-day diet before Ngannou fight – including roast potatoes for breakfast

THERE is no doubt that Tyson Fury is one of the greatest heavyweights the art of boxing has ever seen. But how does the Gypsy King perform to the incredible degree that he does in his fights?

As he prepares to face off the formidable ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, Fury will be taking every measure to optimise his performance and solidify his legendary title as the undisputed world champion.
The two most important factors? His diet and workout regime.
Here, we take a look at Fury’s pre-fight rituals – including a whopping 6,000 calories a day and roast potatoes for breakfast.
According to the 35-year-old’s nutritionist George Lockhart, the 6ft 9in athlete’s favourite foods are black pudding, fish and anything spicy.
    READ MORE ON TYSON FURY
He’s not a fan of vegetables, and would chow down exclusively on chicken nuggets if he could.
In the week before a fight, he typically scoffs his breakfast at 10am, then eats again at 1pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm and midnight.
This works out at about 6,000 calories a day – almost triple that of the maintenance calories for the average man.
Lockhart said this huge intake helps maximise energy output on the day of the fight and helps keep fatigue at bay.

“Tyson is like clockwork,” he added. “It’s the exact same way every single time. It’s almost like you press play, and repeat.
“We’ve found the formula he likes, and the weight that he wants to be at.”
Fury’s standard brekkie includes several scrambled eggs, which the nutritionist claims are one of the “best digestive proteins” the body can absorb with ease.
This provides optimal muscle growth and recovery to accompany Fury’s twice-a-day, seven-day-a-week rigorous training program, he added.
The boxer, who weighs 19st 1lb, also gets a serving of black pudding, which is “really high in iron”, as well as lean pork or chicken.
Lunch is one of the more variable aspects of Fury’s usually rigid diet plan, as the components are altered to fit his unique nutritional requirements throughout the seven-day lead-up.
However, Lockhart always tries to squeeze in a helping of salmon due to its high omega-3 content, which reportedly improves his brain function and boosts his ‘fight IQ’.
Salmon is also full of proteins and essential fatty acids, which are needed for muscle growth and the healthy maintenance of bone density and cartilage health that provide support for the muscles, which house the bursting power of Fury’s explosive punches.

Where Lockhart has changed his tune regarding Fury’s programme is on the subject of red meat.
Before his fight with Dillian Whyte, the health expert was insistent on adding a helping of red meat to at least one meal every day as “chicken isn’t as nutrient dense”.
However, he has since revised his opinions so as not to hinder Fury’s physical fitness.
“I’ll only do red meat on days that he’s off, to give his body the time to digest it,” he told Betway.
“Red meat is the most nutrient-dense meat out there, but it also takes time to digest, so I don’t want to be giving it to him every day.”

And throughout the day, Lockhart has to ensure his client is getting his five-a-day, which he claims he has to sneak into Fury’s meals because he hates vegetables with a passion.
