And Canelo has reminded his 12.5m followers of the gorgeous hybrid-electric supercar in a short clip he posted on his Instagram story.
One of the most luxurious motors in the world, a 2017 model sold for a record-breaking £7.5m at an auction to raise money for Save the Children.
It had been expected to fetch £3.6m, but bidders went crazy for the Aperta which can reach up to 217 mph.
Canelo’s followers were quick to comment on his whip, as one user tweeted: “What a sexy car.”
Another quipped: “This is why EVERYONE wants a Canelo pay day.”
A third added: “Great taste in cars.”

Meanwhile this person simply stated: “It’s a beautiful car.”
Canelo, who has won world titles from light-middleweight to light-heavyweight, is keen to jump TWO divisions to face WBC cruiserweight king Ilunga Makabu next.
The Mexican ace requested to fight the Congolese star in November, with the WBC giving the blockbuster bout the green light.
And Makabu’s legendary promoter Don King has welcomed the dust-up as he compared it to when Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman in 1974.
King told SunSport: “Canelo is the one who challenged Makabu.
“Now whether Canelo fights Makabu or not, Makabu certainly says, ‘I want to fight, I accept to fight’.
“Makabu said it can be Rumble in The Jungle 2, we can go back to Zaire with a major, major attraction.

“He says, I’m from Zaire, where the iconic Rumble in The Jungle between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman was.
“And Makabu said, ‘I’m going to do to Canelo, what Muhammad Ali did to George Foreman and that’s knock you out’.
“Now, I don’t know whether that’s going to scare Alvarez away or not, but we remain ready, willing and able to fight one of the greatest fighters out there today, Canelo Alvarez.” More

Lewis Hamilton shocked he has never raced for Ferrari during epic F1 career and admits ‘it’s not really been possible’

LEWIS HAMILTON has admitted his surprise at never making the move to Ferrari. As the grandest name of Formula One over the decades, the Scuderia have previously employed legends including Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio and Fernando Alonso.

But British star Hamilton has never stepped into the famous red overalls, and has not even been close to doing so.
Links did emerge last year but the legend, who has recently fuelled retirement talk after missing out on the F1 title to Max Verstappen last month, remains under contract with Mercedes until the end of 2023 and has described a switch to the Prancing Horse as ‘never really possible’.
Speaking to Sky Italia back in September, via GPToday, he noted: “For years, whenever I come to Monza and see the fans, I hear them saying, ‘Come to Ferrari!’.
“It warms my heart but it’s pretty amazing that I’ve never driven for Ferrari after so many years.
“Because it’s a dream for everyone, a goal to be achieved.
“It’s never really been possible and I will never quite know exactly why.

Her career began in F1 with Ferrari where she worked until 2001 – with Michael Schumacher among others -before moving to Williams.
She played a key role in their race-winning push following an engine partnership with BMW.
Terzi caused a stir at the start of the 2004 campaign when the Williams FW26 was unveiled with the new nose concept.
She then moved away from motorsport to become the head of aerodynamics at luxury car manufacturer Bentley.
The Italian moved into being a teacher in later years at universities in the UK and Netherlands.
Last year, Terzi was appointed professor at the Australian National University in Canberra.

She was planning to move there from Great Britain once the Covid-19 travel restrictions had eased.
After the sad news emerged, Williams tweeted: “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former colleague and chief aerodynamicist, Antonia Terzi.
“Our thoughts go out to Antonia’s friends and family at this difficult time.”
Twitter user Ivan wrote: “During my PhD at Imperial College, I used to pass quite frequently by a 50 per cent model scale made in aluminium of Williams’ walrus nosebox, sitting next to one of our wind tunnels.
“I always wondered who came up with that idea. It is rather sad to learn it this way. RIP Antonia Terzi.”

As well as the success he has enjoyed, Hamilton praised the teamwork and loyalty of those he works with and the family feel to the team.
Hamilton told RacingNews365.com: “I have no reason to think about it (joining Ferrari).
“It was a part of…each end of term you have to do your due diligence and see what options you have and I’m really proud of what I have and where I am with Mercedes.
“I think I’ve said it before, it was very short-lived, the idea of going to Ferrari was short-lived in a sense that when you are with Mercedes, you are with a family for life.
“If you look at all the historic drivers who have driven for Mercedes, they have been with them until they’re in their 90s and that is something that you don’t see in any other team, with any other brand.
“So that is something that I am very proud of. Plus, we have achieved more than anybody and that is down to great teamwork, that is down to loyalty and so I don’t take that for granted.”
Hamilton was speaking in reaction to comments from Stefano Domenicali revealing he wanted to sign the Mercedes star when he was Ferrari team principal.

Andrea Pirlo’s side dropped out of the top four following the loss, as they sit in fifth spot with just three games to go.
And instead of taking part in a recovery session ahead of Wednesday’s away trip to Sassuolo, Ronaldo showed up at Maranello – home of Ferrari’s F1 headquarters.
He was accompanied by club chairman Andrea Agnelli and the 45-year-old’s cousin John Elkann, who is the CEO of Exor and Ferrari.
Exor is the holding run by the Agnelli family that controls both Juventus and Ferrari.
Whilst at Ferrari’s HQ, Ronaldo posed for a photo with F1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who were given signed Juve shirts.
And according to Corriere della Serra, Ronaldo treated himself to a Ferrari Monza worth £1.4million.
Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also a proud owner of the limited edition vehicle having bought it for his 38th birthday in 2019.
Ronaldo’s supercar is just the latest in his collection that also includes an £8.5m Bugatti Centodieci as well as a Bugatti Chiron and Veyron.

Manager Andrea Pirlo only pockets £1.6million-per-year after taking charge of the club
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s future in Turin is in question with Juve on the brink of having to settle for the Europa League.
Despite the Italian side suffering in Serie A this season, Ronaldo has starred, with the ex-Manchester United ace the league’s top scorer with 27 goals in 31 games.
But it could be his last campaign in Italy as Juve may cash in on the player with Ronaldo having just a year left on his contract.
Should they miss out on the Champions League, Juventus wouldn’t be able to afford his mammoth £28m-a-year salary.
The Euro 2016 winner has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain to play alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
And there have even speculation that he could return to either Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon or the Red Devils.
