Managers even cooked up a special menu for the Man City ace – titled ‘Grealish’s Festive Grub’
Nando’s bosses closed their eaterie to make way for the high-profile guests – leaving hungry locals baffled.
And chicken chain managers even cooked up a special menu for one of their favourite customers – titled ‘Grealish’s Festive Grub’.
Jack’s special itemised card looked like the standard Nando’s menu but had footie-themed headings including ‘kick off’, ‘reach to tackle’, ‘full time’ and ‘off-sides’.
And listed were the £100million man’s favourite grub – including chicken thighs and a garlic churrasco burger

Invited guests to the Christmas knees-up couldn’t resist sharing snaps on social media.
One picture showed the table groaning with huge platters of chips and chunky grilled halloumi with chilli jam.
Bottles of Portuguese lager Sagres were seen scattered around the food, alongside orange juice and a pineapple and mango drink.
Three Lions favourite Jack, famed for his low socks and massive calves, has often told of his love of Nando’s.

And he happily posed for snaps outside the restaurant yesterday.
Frustrated diners locked out of their favourite food venue, in Shirley, near Birmingham, had their spirits raised when guests including Jack and his Scottish pal McGinn stopped to pose for snaps.
Jack, in a white t-shirt and white zipped top, happily smiled for the camera.
Meanwhile the 29-year-old Villa man posed in a black jumper and blue anorak after Monday night’s bash.
Last month Jack and his City and Norwegian striker pal Erling Haaland revealed each other’s favourite grub.
The England ace said the goal machine – famed for an unusual diet consisting of cow’s heart and liver – also likes focaccia bread and his own pasta, which has a creamy tomato sauce.
Jack, 28, admitted he “does eat a lot of bad stuff”, as Erling revealed his mate loves nothing more than “Nando’s, McDonald’s and pizza”.
The wing wizard, who signed for treble winners City from Villa in 2021, joked: “He’s just made me sound like the fattest footballer in the Prem!”
Nando’s was contacted for comment. More

Forgotten Tottenham flop’s loan contract ‘could be ripped up’ after furious late-night burger row

FORGOTTEN Tottenham star Tanguy Ndombele may see his loan contract at Galatasaray ripped up after rowing with the manager about a BURGER.The Turkish side’s boss was furious with the Frenchman for ordering a late-night burger at the team’s hotel after losing to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Having made a sluggish start in Turkey, Ndombele, 26, reportedly found himself involved in a late-night bust-up with Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk.
Buruk, it’s claimed, was already furious with the Spurs loanee, who is Tottenham’s record £63million signing, over an alleged 6kg weight gain.
Turkish outlets Fotospor and Kamu Son Haber report that Ndombele has indulged in junk food at his house and ordered a burger to his hotel room following the recent 3-1 defeat to the German champions.
The reports claim the midfielder has been following a dietary programme at the club.

But the Galatasaray chief will not pick Ndombele until he drops his weight to 75kg, it’s claimed.
The midfielder, who signed to the Super Lig side after struggling in North London, was left out of the Galatasaray squad for Saturday’s 1-0 victory at Rizespor.
Buruk is said to be enraged with Ndombele for his alleged fast food indulgences and the club is said to be considering terminating his loan deal.

But having played just 93 minutes since his arrival in the Turkish capital – there has been speculation his time at the club could come to an end in January.
This would be bad news for Spurs who would find themselves back to square one looking for an exit route for the midfielder.
His fitness had been of concern prior to his move to Galatasaray as Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed in the summer.
He told Football.London: “The way we play there’s a bit that I need to be strong on and that is that you’ve got to be at a certain physical level to play this kind of football”.
The Aussie and Buruk are not the first to spot Ndombele’s weight problems as ex-Spurs manager Jose Mourinho publically called him out.
While ex-Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit in 2020 slammed the midfielder and claimed he was overweight.
In contrast, Ndombele’s former Spurs team-mate Davinson Sanchez, who joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal in the summer has been a regular starter in their defence. More

I visited Lewis Hamilton’s vegan burger chain and tried the plant-based patties – they take pole position over McDonalds

VEGAN substitutes for fast-food favourites have become a booming market over the last decade.Millions of hungry health and animal-conscious people around the globe have made the decision to do away with meat and eat ethically-sourced replacements.

As such, the market for vegan fast food alternatives has exploded over the last few years.
Several celebrities and athletes have embraced the plant-based lifestyle, including Formula One icon Lewis Hamilton – who stopped eating meat in 2017.
And the Stevenage speedster drove headfirst into the market at breakneck speed four years ago with a major investment in a meat-free burger chain – Neat Burger.
Hamilton – along with Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio – invested a huge amount of capital in the London-based chain to “make plant-based eating more accessible to everyone.”

And it’s now valued at a whopping £80MILLION following investment from former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Neat Burger’s alternatives to your regular burgers have received rave reviews.
So much so, that I – perhaps the biggest meat-lover on the planet – thought I’d see what all the hype was about.
So I popped along to the chain’s Canary Wharf branch on my lunch break to broaden my horizons and my pallet.

I was immediately impressed by the look of the restaurant, which had a colour scheme straight out of Miami Vice.
In keeping with the new age of fast food restuarant, Neat Burger has done away with traditional waiters in favour of electronic self-service menus.

And it was there I was able to select what looked to be the closest thing to a double cheeseburger – my go-to when I want to indulge in a burger.
That came in the form of the ‘Smash Daddy’ burger, which is comprised of two ‘Neat’ patties, onions and is covered with melted cheese.
The burger – which I upgraded to a meal deal for a reasonably priced £11.99 – was topped off with a generous slathering of Neat, mustard and stack sauce.
The brightly-coloured dine-in area served as the perfect distraction from the questions swirling through my head as I patiently waited for the arrival of my first-ever order of vegan food
Why am I trying this? What I ordered looks like a burger, but will it taste like one?
And, most importantly, will it live up to the hype?
It didn’t take long – less than ten minutes in fact – for my questions to be answered.
The presentation of the burger and chips were better than that of most fast-food chains.
And much to my surprise, the taste was exactly the same – if not better than most traditional burgers.

As a once regular frequenter of McDonald’s to cure my hangovers of yesteryear, I know a thing or two about fast-food burgers.
So I’m very well placed to say it blows Maccies’ iconic and beloved cheeseburger out of the water – and then some.
A tidal wave of flavours hit me seconds after my gnashers cut through the delectable brioche bun and pierced the soft and tender patty.
To get a true taste for the patty – the combination of mung beans, quinoa, and chickpeas – I broke off and nibbled on a small sauce-less morsel.
That small and soft bite accentuated the wave of flavours and amazing texture I experienced just a few moments earlier.
I went into my maiden indulgence of vegan food adamant that no plant-based alternative could ever replicate the taste of a ‘real’ burger or convince me to consume less meat.
But I’ll happily admit that I’ll no longer pigheadedly – pardon the pun – close myself off to vegan alternatives.

My only complaint, however, was the amount of salt on the skinny fries which accompanied the delicious burger – although that’s easily rectifiable.
For those of you who have dedicated yourself to the vegan lifestyle, or if you’re a burger aficionado who wants to switch things up, I can safely say the Hamilton-backed burger joints are the ideal pit stop for some quick grub. More

In the new sequel, Steve, now 42, plays the dad of a girl who vows to go one better than her father by getting a selfie with the former England and Newcastle ace.
The online ad echoes the telly original, with the determined lass using her job at McDonald’s to trick the Match of the Day pundit, 52, into posing for a photograph.
Viewers also hear Shearer’s daughter Chloe, who is now in her 30s but was just five in the original ad, reprise her role of begging her dad to get a McDonald’s.
Shearer said: “Times have changed since I shot the first advert.
