Dream Team’s Euros fantasy game is live! How to play and compete for £50,000 prize pot

DREAM TEAM’S Euros fantasy game is live! There’s still time for a few twists and turns as the regular season draws to a close but with Euro 2024 set to get underway on June 14th, you should have one eye on Germany already. Our fantastic Euros fantasy game is available to play for free via Dream Team’s app (you may have to update via the iOS or Android store) or website with a total prize pot of £50,000 up for grabs. The overall winner will take home half the pot while the runner-up will bank £5,000 – gaffers who finish 3rd to 22nd will earn £1,000 each!CLICK HERE TO PLAY DREAM TEAM’S EUROS FANTASY GAME – £50,000 PRIZE POT, FREE TO ENTER, GREAT FUN!Can you manage a team of international stars better than Gareth Southgate?Credit: Dream TeamYou will initially be asked to select an XI of Euro 2024 players on a budget of £50million with a choice of seven possible formations.Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane are the joint-most expensive players in the game at £7.5m each and so gaffers keen on the prolific duo will have to seek out affordable bargains elsewhere to balance the books. There’s no limit on the number of players you can select from any one club so feel free to fill your boots with England stars if you think it’s coming home this summer. At this stage, we’ve populated the player list with core players from all 24 nations present at the tournament but more players will be added as the squads are officially announced in the coming weeks.Dream Team’s Euros fantasy game is divided into seven scoring periods known as Matchdays.
Matchday 1 – first round of group games
Matchday 2 – second round of groups games
Matchday 3 – third round of group games
    Matchday 4 – round of 16 fixtures
    Matchday 5 – quarter-finals
    Matchday 6 – semi-finals
    Matchday 7 – final
Each Matchday begins one hour before the first game of the relevant scoring period kicks off.For example, the deadline for Matchday 1 is 7pm on June 14th, one hour before Germany take on Scotland in the curtain raiser. It’s imperative you settle on your team before that time because any changes made after the deadline won’t come into effect until Matchday 2.Once the tournament is underway, make sure you adhere to the Matchday deadlines when making transfers, playing Boosters and selecting your captain.Mbappe is the joint-most expensive player at £7.5millionCredit: GettyThe good news is that you can make unlimited changes to your XI before the first deadline so feel free to dive in head first now – there’s no harm playing around with a few early drafts this month. Here’s a breakdown of the transfer allowance for the whole tournament:
Matchday 1 – unlimited transfers (prior to deadline)
    Matchday 2 – three transfers
    Matchday 3 – three transfers
Matchday 4 – unlimited transfers (before round of 16)
    Matchday 5 – five transfers
    Matchday 6 – five transfers
    Matchday 7 – five transfers
Please be aware these allocations are fixed and you will not be able to roll over any unused transfers from one Matchday to the next. You will also need to select a captain (who will have their score doubled) each Matchday and a vice-captain who will fulfil the role if your first-choice captain doesn’t play for any reason.Additionally, you will have a supply of three Boosters that can only be played once each throughout the tournament. Each Booster applies a special effect for the duration of one Matchday only that will result in plentiful points if deployed correctly.
Goal Bonus – each goal scored by your players earns TEN points (instead of the usual six)
12th Man – select an additional player from any position for free to score points for your team
Max Captain – the player who earns the most points for your team will automatically be selected as captain, doubling their score
Boosters can only be played one at a time (not in combination with one another) so think carefully before activating each one.Dream Team managers rarely pass up a chance to pick Cristiano RonaldoCredit: GettyDream Team’s Nick Elliott previews this summer’s Euro 2024 tournament gamePOINTS BREAKDOWNAll Players:

Injuries & suspensions update ahead of Gameweek 35 – latest on Bukayo Saka, Bruno Fernandes and others

DREAM TEAM brings you all the latest injury, suspension and availability news ahead of Gameweek 35 in one easily digestible dose.Takehiro Tomiyasu was absent from Arsenal training on Thursday and must therefore be considered a doubt ahead of Sunday’s match at Old Trafford.Bukayo Saka was pictured with heavy strapping although the Gunners’ winger is accustomed to playing through niggles.Mikel Arteta did name his No7 when listing possible doubts but the England international rarely misses out if even half fit.As for the Red Devils, Bruno Fernandes resumed training this week after a rare absence last time out.The Portuguese midfielder, who features in 17.8% of Dream Teams, is therefore in contention to play.Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay also have a chance having returned to training but Luke Shaw has suffered a setback on his road to recovery – Mason Mount is also out.PLAY SCORE PREDICTOR AHEAD OF THIS WEEKEND’S ACTION – SOMEBODY MUST WIN £500 IN CASH!Saka was named as a doubt but Mikel Arteta tends to select the winger through thick and thinCredit: Dream TeamEmi Martinez returned for Aston Villa for the second leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final and is therefore in line to start against Liverpool on Monday night.Jurgen Klopp’s press conference was light on team news but, based on previous comments, there’s an outside of chance of Diogo Jota being involved in some capacity. Most read in FootballReece James is expected to be included in Chelsea’s matchday squad at the very least having resumed full training after his lengthy lay-off.The same is true for Lesley Ugochukwu while Malo Gusto, Raheem Sterling, Thiago Silva and Christopher Nkunku all returned against West Ham last weekend to ease the Blues’ injury troubles.Joao Pedro is a doubt for Brighton’s trip to Newcastle having injured his ankle in training today. It’s unclear whether the 20-goal striker will travel with the Seagulls to St James’ Park.Trippier may return for Newcastle this weekendCredit: GettyAs for the host, Eddie Howe revealed: “Kieran [Trippier] is getting closer, he has trained this week.”A late decision will be made on the right-back while Nick Pope may be given a start having returned to the bench against Burnley.Luton will be boosted by the return of Chiedozie Ogbene as they seek to avoid relegation back to the Championship. The Hatters travel to West Ham, who will once again be without centre-backs Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos. In brighter news for the Hammers, David Moyes told reporters: “Lucas Paqueta seems okay and has trained for most of the week.”Pep Guardiola has a fully fit squad to choose from as Manchester City hope to take another step towards the defence of their Premier League title against Fulham on Saturday.Lloyd Kelly, Marcus Tavernier and Tyler Adams are all available for Bournemouth after their recent setbacks but Ryan Fredericks, Luis Sinisterra and Chris Mepham remain sidelined.Milos Kerkez will serve the last of his Score Predictor tips for Matchweek 38 – play now and compete for weekly £500 cash prize!

ANOTHER Score Predictor Matchweek, another £500 in cash up for grabs!Simply gaze into your crystal ball and foresee the scores of five selected Premier League fixtures and you’ll earn points based on the accuracy of your predictions. You don’t have to get all five scores exactly correct – something Matt Chouffot achieved against astronomical odds last month – you just have to muster more points than anyone else to claim the weekly prize. And if you opt for sheer gut instinct, it takes just a few seconds to enter your predictions.CLICK HERE TO PLAY SCORE PREDICTOR FOR FREE – £500 CASH PRIZE MUST BE WON!Submit your predictions and put yourself in contention for the cash prizeCredit: Dream TeamIn the spirit of transparency, these are our predictions for Matchweek 38.Newcastle v BrightonThis would have made for an entertaining even contest at various times in the last year but this match-up very much favours the hosts at present. The Magpies boast the fourth best home record in the Premier League this season and they’re currently third in the form table having won four of their last five games. In contrast, the Seagulls have won just four league games on the road in 2023/24 and, despite an encouraging win over Aston Villa last time out, only four teams have earned fewer points from their last six fixtures. Most read in Dream TeamOur Prediction: 3-1 to NewcastleAnthony Gordon and Alexander Isak are particularly effective at St James’ ParkCredit: ReutersDream Team’s Nick Elliott previews this summer’s Euro 2024 tournament gameTottenham v BurnleySpurs are one of those teams below Brighton in the form table having lost four games on the spin.Granted, Ange Postecoglou’s men have faced a tricky run (Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool) but 13 goals conceded in four outings is a cause for concern. That being said, only Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have won more league games at home than Spurs this term while the Clarets have mustered just 14 points from 18 away days.Son Heung-min and company should have enough firepower to end their miserable run.Our Prediction: 2-1 to TottenhamPostecoglou could do with a winCredit: GettyNottingham Forest v ChelseaThe Blues have given themselves every chance of qualifying for Europe with an impressive upturn in form as the campaign draws to a close. In fact, only Man City and Arsenal have earned more points across their last ten games.Having previously been almost solely reliant on Cole Palmer, the likes of Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson have looked increasingly effective in attack of late.As for the hosts, a win over Sheffield United last weekend all but preserved their Premier League status but they’ll still be wary of a late Luton charge.Forest won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge back in September but we reckon Chelsea will get their revenge on Saturday. Our Prediction: 2-0 to ChelseaChelsea are finishing the season in fine formCredit: GettyManchester United v ArsenalDespite the Gunners broadly outperforming the Red Devils under his watch, Mikel Arteta has come unstuck in his last two visits to Old Trafford. However, it would be a huge upset if Arsenal failed to win on Sunday given the nature of Man United’s recent performances.Erik ten Hag watched his side slump to a 4-0 defeat at Selhurst Park on Monday and the Dutchman has failed to stop his side conceding an almighty tidal wave of shots since the turn of the year.Structurally, these two teams couldn’t be further apart with the visitors frugal in defence while the hosts tend to be involved in strangely open contests.Man United looked particularly hopeless without Bruno Fernandes last time out and if the Portuguese midfielder is out again (keep an eye out for availability updates) then Bukayo Saka and friends could run amok. Our Prediction: 3-0 to ArsenalAnother defeat would heap even more pressure on Ten HagCredit: GettyAston Villa v LiverpoolMonday night football features fourth against third but the recent history of this fixture is immensely one-sided in the Reds’ favour.Liverpool have won six of their last seven meetings with the Villains with last season’s 1-1 draw at Anfield being the only minor blemish. Both sides have run out of steam at the back end of the campaign with Jurgen Klopp’s troops falling out of the title race and Villa losing 6-2 on aggregate to Olympiacos in the Europa Conference League semi-finals.Unai Emery’s side were also extremely lacklustre against Brighton last week – they mustered just two attempts at goal at the Amex. Both teams have won two, drawn two and lost two from their last six league games which makes this a difficult match-up to predict.30% of Score Predictors have opted for a 2-2 draw at the time of writing but we’ll edge it to the visitors because of Villa’s trek back from Greece. Our Prediction: 3-2 to LiverpoolREAD MORE SUN STORIESLiverpool enjoyed themselves against Spurs last weekendCredit: Transfer recommendations ahead of Gameweek 35 – Noni Madueke among tempting differentials

EVERY transfer counts at this late stage of the season.Ahead of Gameweek 35, the majority of Dream Team managers will be focused on the six teams set to fulfil two fixtures: Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Brighton, Newcastle and Tottenham. With this in mind, allow us to suggest some recommendations…PLAY SCORE PREDICTOR AHEAD OF THIS WEEKEND’S ACTION – SOMEBODY MUST WIN £500 IN CASH!A huge differential optionCredit: Dream TeamNoni Madueke (£3.1m) Chelsea’s No11 is among the tempting differential options for Gameweek 35 with a current ownership of just 0.2%!The 22-year-old didn’t do his reputation any favours when he attempted to take a penalty off Cole Palmer (£5.4m) a few weeks back but there’s no doubt his performances have improved lately. In fact, Madueke is statistically the third-most in-form midfielder in the game right now having added 34 points to his tally across his last three outings. His 17-point return against West Ham last time out was his best haul of the season – he scored one goal and assisted another as the Blues thrashed the Hammers 5-0.More broadly, he’s notched four goals and three assists in his last ten games during a spell in which Mauricio Pochettino’s side have looked increasingly effective. Most read in FootballChelsea arguably have the most-favourable double header in Gameweek 35 in the form of Nottingham Forest and Brighton.Josko Gvardiol (£4.1m)Only Ben White is in better form among Dream Team defendersCredit: AlamyManchester City assets will be hugely popular this week and with good reason. Not only are they among the six teams with two fixtures this coming Gameweek (against Fulham and Spurs) they are guaranteed a game in Gameweek 37 thanks to the FA Cup final.Generally, Pep Guardiola’s defenders have underwhelmed this season but Gvardiol has done his best to rectify that in recent weeks. The Croatia international has plundered 52 points from his last six games and 77 points from his last ten appearances. This fruitful run has featured four clean sheets, three goals and two assists.City assets are always at risk of rotation but Gvardiol’s form should earn him the bulk of the remaining minutes this term.Erling Haaland (£6.9m), Phil Foden (£5.8m) and Kevin De Bruyne (£6.2m) all fall under the category of blindingly obvious transfer suggestions this week.Bruno Guimaraes (£4.4m)Bonus ballCredit: Getty We’ve tipped Alexander Isak (£4.6m) and Anthony Gordon (£4m) often enough in recent weeks so there’s no need to repeat ourselves in that regard. But let’s throw Newcastle’s all-action midfielder into the mix as well.Guimaraes is Dream Team’s bonus point king having racked up 76 of them this season – only seven other players have more than 50 to their name. And he’s been among the goal involvements since the start of February with five goals and four assists across the last 13 Gameweeks.READ MORE SUN STORIESThe Brazilian averages 5.8 points-per-game this campaign and so it’s reasonable to expect a double-digit haul from him in Gameweek 35 with the in-form Magpies set to take on Brighton and Manchester United.Lock in your transfers before Saturday’s 11:30am deadline.talkSPORT BET Welcome offer

Clarification on Dream Team’s final Gameweeks of the 2023/24 season – plus key Score Predictor dates

WE’RE aware that some Dream Team managers are uncertain how and when the 2023/24 season will conclude.Allow us to clear a few things up.PLAY SCORE PREDICTOR AHEAD OF THIS WEEKEND’S ACTION – SOMEBODY MUST WIN £500 IN CASH!Man City players should be popular for the final few GameweeksCredit: Dream TeamJust one fixture remains in Gameweek 34 – Aston Villa’s trip to Olympiacos for the second leg of their Europa Conference League semi-final.Once that’s complete, there will be three Gameweeks left before the campaign ends.Gameweek 35 gets underway at 11:30am this coming Saturday (May 11th) and features a full round of league fixtures plus three additional midweek games.Tottenham, Manchester City, Brighton, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle are the six teams set for double headers. After that, Gameweek 36 consists entirely of the final day of the Premier League campaign, in which all 20 teams will kick-off at the same time (4pm) on Sunday 19th May.Finally, Gameweek 37 will feature the FA Cup final between the two Manchester clubs and the Europa Conference League final if Unai Emery’s side muster a comeback in Greece this week. However, with the Villains 4-2 down on aggregate at present, it seems likely that Man City and Man United will be the only teams active in Gameweek 37.Most read in FootballVilla face an uphill task to qualify for the Europa Conference League finalCredit: GettyIt’s important to note that Gameweek 37 will work the same way as every other Gameweek in terms of transfers.Dream Team bosses will be given two transfers to use before the deadline, which will be an hour before kick-off as usual. Those who opt to carry transfers over will have more at their disposal.Gaffers will have to select a captain as normal and they can even play a Booster if they wish, unless they’ve already used all three of course.GAMEWEEK BREAKDOWN:
GW35: 13 Premier League fixtures (Spurs, Man City, Brighton, Chelsea, Man United and Newcastle all play twice)
GW36: 10 Premier League fixtures (everyone plays once)
GW37: FA Cup final (Man City v Man United) and Europa Conference League final if Aston Villa qualify
From strategic viewpoint, gaffers should be drawn to the Manchester clubs as they have four fixtures each remaining while 13 clubs have just two games left.A guaranteed fixture in Gameweek 37 makes City assets even more appealing than usualCredit: GettyAs for Score Predictor, the nature of the game means the final Matchweek will coincide with the last round of Premier League fixtures.READ MORE SUN STORIESAs usual, users will have to predict the results of five selected games as they compete for the final weekly prize of the domestic season – the overall leaderboard winner will also be decided!Once all of that is wrapped up, focus will switch to our Euros fantasy game – the fun never stops!talkSPORT BET Welcome offer

Real Madrid’s resident hard man will almost certainly start at the heart of defence for Die Mannschaft this summer. It wasn’t that long ago the hosts felt the need to replace Hansi Flick with Julian Nagelsmann because results were so bad but wins over France and Netherlands in March dramatically improved the mood among German fans.Bayer Leverkusen’s incredible success combined with impressive showings from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the Champions League have reflected well on German football at just the right time.Rudiger and company will take on Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland in Group A.But is £4.5m reasonable for the physical centre-back?RodriA class actCredit: Getty

Manchester City’s linchpin is widely regarded as the best player in his position in world football right now.In previous iterations of Dream Team fantasy games, defensive midfielders rarely earned enough points to justify selection but our new and improved scoring system has changed that dynamic for the better.Rodri has 233 points in our regular fantasy game this season at an average of 5.5 per game.Plus, he’s not shy of goal involvements these days – he’s notched 22 at club level this season!£4m seems reasonable at this stage but it’s worth noting La Roja have been dealt a difficult group alongside Italy, Croatia and Albania.Robert LewandowskiA proven goalscorer for club and countryCredit: Getty

Barcelona’s No9 will turn 36 later in the summer but he’s still among Europe’s purest goalscorers. He’s scored 24 goals for Barca in 2023/24, not to mention nine assists, but it’s his historical record at international level that makes him stand out from the crowd.Poland have generally played conservative football for much of Lewandowski’s career and yet still he’s plundered 82 goals – only eight players have scored more goals in the history of international football.Gianluigi DonnarummaWill the real Donnarumma please stand up?Credit: Getty

Some questions have been asked of the 25-year-old lately among fans of the Azzurri.Donnarumma has already racked up 61 caps at senior level but there are some calls for him to drop to the bench in the wake of some avoidable errors. However, other fans believe the PSG custodian deserves to keep his place, with many citing his heroic efforts at the last Euros. At his best, there are few better shot-stoppers in the game but it all depends which Donnarumma (and which Italy) shows up in Germany this summer.Jeremy DokuThe trickiest of tricky wingersCredit: Getty

The 21-year-old winger is certainly an exciting pick for gaffers. His amazing dribbling helps him earn plenty of bonus points and when everything clicks for him in the final third he looks unstoppable.Granted, his end product has sometimes been lacking but his high ceiling makes him a formidable asset.Belgium’s group looks relatively favourable on paper: Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine.Kylian MbappeWill Mbappe be the most-popular player among gaffers this summer?Credit: Getty

NICOLAS JACKSON (£3.9m) has copped plenty of stick this season.Earlier in the campaign, the Chelsea forward was statistically among the most wasteful finishers in the Premier League and he didn’t do himself any favours when he and Noni Madueke (£3.1m) tried to take a penalty away from Cole Palmer (£5.4m) a few weeks backs. However, while some of the criticism has been justified, the Senegal international has unquestionably improved as the season has progressed.CLICK HERE TO PLAY EUROS BRACKET CHALLENGE NOW – FREE TO PLAY, IPHONE 15 PRO MAX UP FOR GRABS!Improving all the timeCredit: Dream TeamIn fact, after his brace against West Ham on Sunday, Jackson now boasts a tally of 13 league goals in 2023/24.To put that into perspective, Stamford Bridge legend Didier Drogba only scored more league goals in two of his nine seasons with the Blues.Obviously that statistic lacks context and fails to tell even a fraction of the story of the Ivorian’s Chelsea career but it illustrates that Jackson is certainly a player who was written off too soon by many.An overall return of 16 goals in all competitions is perfectly respectable for a 22-year-old in his first year on English shores. There are clearly aspects of his game that need addressing but he’s shown Mauricio Pochettino what he’s capable of since he returned from the Africa Cup of Nations.Dream Team managers have also started to take note of his positive attributes. Most read in FootballJackson scored two goals and assisted another during his side’s 5-0 win over West HamCredit: GettyJackson has registered eight goals and five assists in 18 outings since the start of Gameweek 22 for a return of 120 points. That works out at 9.2 points per Gameweek since the start of February. At the time of writing, only Erling Haaland (£6.9m) has scored more points than Jackson in Gameweek 34 – the latter banked 19 against the Hammers. And he looks to be a potentially smart option for Gameweek 35 too with Chelsea among the group of six clubs with two fixtures to fulfil.Pochettino’s side are due to face Nottingham Forest and Brighton which is arguably the most-favourable double header of the lot next Gameweek. The outlook now seems brighter for Pochettino at Stamford BridgeCredit: PAMore broadly, only Manchester City and Arsenal have taken more points than Chelsea from their last ten league games.Rewind a few months and the idea of Jackson as a viable Dream Team striker would have sounded ridiculous but that’s the truth of it as the campaign draws to a close. It will be interesting to see how he and Chelsea start 2024/25.talkSPORT BET Welcome offer
