Blackburn vs Wrexham preview
In a fourth round with one or two upsets, this fixture looks a prime candidate for another.
Wrexham are over 30 places below Championship Blackburn heading to Ewood Park.
But the Hollywood-backed Dragons are aiming to be in amongst this sort of fixture in the not-too-distant future and will want to apply themselves well to prove it here.
They sit five points off Stockport having played a game less than their title rivals, averaging two goals per game (54 in 27) in the process.
They did lose to Newport – who put up a terrific fight against Manchester United – last time out having gone down to 10 men inside 18 minutes.
But Blackburn have only won once in their last nine games – that coming against Cambridge in the last round of this competition.
Set pieces could be key tonight. Blackburn have the worst record in the Championship at defending them, with Wrexham scoring the most goals from set pieces in their division.

Blackburn vs Wrexham betting tips
Mullin the Main Man
Elliott Lee has been excellent for Wrexham this season and currently leads the way as the club’s top scorer.
But knowing Wrexham and Paul Mullin, he’ll want to be the main man on occasions like this.
It was a toss up between the pair and one of the big men at the back for first scorer given how poor Blackburn are at defending set pieces.
But the price boost from Ladbrokes on Mullin to open the scoring is too good to turn down.

Dragons to fly
The TV cameras, a Monday night, the large traveling support.
It’s all set up as almost an expectation of an upset unfolding here.
Maybe we’re being drawn into it too but it has all the makings of being a really good cup tie.
And you can’t beat that winning feeling going into these games, one which Blackburn’s players might not be overly relishing.
Caution
James McClean will be a big player for Wrexham tonight, of that there is no doubt.
He’ll also be the pantomime villain and has beaten Blackburn six times in the 11 games he’s played against them.
He’s also been booked five times against them in his career. Couple that with the fact he’s been booked in three of his last four games and 15/8 looks incredible value.
