Hamilton, who last won at the Spanish GP on May 9, signed a new two-year contract yesterday.
But the Brit is desperate for his team to make serious adjustments.
After his disappointment at the Austrian GP, in which he came fourth, the seven-time champion said: “We are miles away from [Red Bull].
“We need all hands on deck.
“They have brought a lot of upgrades over the last few races – and we haven’t brought any.”
Hamilton, 36, started the race in fourth, but managed to reel in both Red Bull star Sergio Perez, and Lando Norris early on.
But he slipped back to where he started during Lap 54, where he would go on to finish.
Verstappen, meanwhile, cruised to victory – never being troubled and opening up a huge lead as the race went on, while being cheered on by a packed orange wall of travelling Dutch supporters.

    INCIDENT ON THE FINAL LAP
Raikkonen and Vettel collide on the final lap.

    MEGA JOB FROM NORRIS
    The Brit was brilliant.

MAX VERSTAPPEN WINS THE AUSTRIAN GP
A hat-trick of consecutive wins for the Dutchman, who increases his lead in the championship.
Bottas is second. Norris is third. Hamilton fourth. Sainz is fifth.
    LAP 68
Alonso finally gets past Russell, he is now out of the points. Gutted for the Williams man.
    FIVE LAPS TO GO
Verstappen leads Bottas, then Norris, then Hamilton.
    RUSSELL IS IN 10th
That would be a crucial point for Williams in their battle with Haas. He is holding off Alonso.

    LAP 60
Verstappen stops for a second set of tyres. He has a clean stop and has a fresh set of rubber for the final 10 laps.
    Red Bull taking no chances.

    SOME DRIVE FROM NORRIS
What a star this McLaren man is becoming!

LAP 54 – NORRIS GETS PAST HAMILTON
The Brit, who let’s remember has served a five second time penalty, passes Hamilton and goes into third.

    LAP 53
Bottas has been allowed to pass Hamilton. The Finn goes into P2 and Hamilton is in third and will come under pressure from Norris.

    PEREZ GETS ANOTHER PENALTY
The Mexican has another five-second penalty for forcing Leclerc off the track.
LAP 52- ALL CHANGE AT MERCEDES
Bottas now given the all clear to race against his teammate.
BOTTAS TOLD NOT TO OVERTAKE HAMILTON
Wow. That is a big statement from Mercedes. The Finn will be furious with that instruction.
    LAP 47 LECLERC IS FURIOUS
Leclerc v Perez again, the Ferrari man goes wide again under pressure from Perez, who could again be risking another time penalty.
Leclerc is forced into the gravel who shouts expletives over the radio.
    LAP 45
    Verstappen is well ahead.
Hamilton is trying to hold on to second.
    Bottas is catching his teammate.
Norris could be in with a shout of making the podium.
    PEREZ GETS A PENALTY
He has a five second penalty for forcing a driver off the track – same penalty Norris received.
    LAP 42
Perez v Leclerc will now be decided by the stewards. Let’s see the outcome on that.
    LAP 35
Verstappen has a 13.8 second lead over Hamilton. He is controlling this race perfectly.
Hamilton, Bottas, Norris, Sainz is the top five.
    LAP 33
Verstappen stops from the lead and has a perfect pit stop. He is back on track and back in p1.
That was a beautiful stop from Red Bull. No fuss.

    LAP 32
Hamilton stops for tyres. It is a 2.2 second stop and he returns to the track in second place.
    LAP 31 PITSTOPS
Norris stops and serves his five second time penalty. Bottas also stops and gets the jump on the McLaren man in the pitlane.
It is Perez, Hamilton, Bottas, Norris.
    NORRIS UNHAPPY WITH THE PENALTY
Engineer: “We have a 5-second penalty, but don’t worry, it’s alright.” Norris: “For what!?” Engineer: “Don’t worry about that.” Norris: “Whatever! If it’s for Lap 1…. what did the guy expect, going around the outside?”
    DOUBLE BLOW FOR NORRIS
He has been hit with a five second penalty for forcing a driver off the track.
And now Hamilton has got past and in to second place.

    LAP 19
Hamilton is behind Norris and you can see he just does not have the pace to keep up with the McLaren on the straights.

Before he set off in pursuit of the 2021 title – having overtaken Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 career race wins last year – he at least had a choice of four luxury homes to self-isolate in.
From a £32MILLION penthouse in New York to an £18MILLION London mansion and a Monte Carlo retreat, the 36-year-old racer knows how to live a life of luxury.
    NEW YORK, NEW YORK
Lewis has an affinity to America, especially the east coast, where he has owned two properties in the Big Apple.
In 2019, he splashed £32m on a Manhattan penthouse in a condo project part-owned by NFL great Tom Brady and his model wife Gisele Bundchen.
His 6,547 square-foot home included a huge outdoor area and has views of the Hudson River, as well as a swimming pool, fitness centre, squash court, library and wine cellar.
Neighbours include Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Austin Powers star Mike Myers.
Around the same time, he listed his three-floor 8,900-square-foot penthouse that had its own swimming pool.
Hamilton paid £34m for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom apartment in Tribeca in 2017, but incredibly never lived in it. It’s not known if he ever did sell it.

    LONDON
So, this is what £18m buys you in England’s capital…
In 2017, Hamilton snapped up this unique six-bedroom detached villa in West London from previous owners Burberry chief designer Christopher Bailey and his husband, actor Simon Woods.
The stunning property has ‘generous entertaining space’ which opens out into a 200ft garden with an impressive summer house.
It was built by the famous builder Samuel Johns in 1860.
There are also four reception rooms, with two huge bathrooms.Again, it’s not known how much time Lewis spends living in the property.

    MONTE CARLO
Like many F1 drivers, Hamilton also lives in Monaco.
Although not much is known about his property, he once shared a snap of his wonderful view.
He captioned a snap on social media: “A place I call home, Monte Carlo. I am so blessed to live in such an incredible place. God is really shining down on me today.
“Sending you light & love for your day. On my way to Spa, let’s do this!!!”

Hamilton once shared a view from his stunning Monaco apartment
It is believed he resides in the exclusive Fontvieille district.
Back in 2007, it was reported he was interested in a 2,000sq ft, four-bedroom duplex with views across the Mediterranean in Fontvieille’s Seaside Plaza.
A top-floor apartment would have set him back somewhere in the region of £30m. Nice, if you’re a superstar racer.
