Inside Christian Horner’s lavish country mansion Red Bull boss shares with Spice Girl Geri and three miniature donkeys

RED BULL boss Christian Horner is used to living life in the fast lane working in F1.But when it comes to his personal life, the team principal of the motorsport giants prefers a more quiet and slower existence away from the race track.

He shares TWO stunning country homes with wife, Spice Girl Geri in Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire and their brood.
The former property is, perhaps, the most lavish and most shared online – boasting its very own duck pond, which they use for boating.
Their farm also houses three miniature donkeys, horses and goats in the estate’s stables.
    ‘PERFECT’
For Horner, living on a farm offers the ideal existence away from the stresses of the F1 circuit.
Back in 2019, he told Luxury London that the sprawling country abode was the “perfect home to relax in.”
“Restoring the farm has been my hobby – the way I put racing out of my mind,” he added.
“The main house is finished but now the barns are being converted. We’re currently putting the finishing touches to an indoor swimming pool.”

Certainly, it’s the property in Oxfordshire that gets the most love from Geri on Instagram, who regularly shares candid snaps of her family life.
Horner is stepdad to Geri’s daughter Bluebell Madonna, 15, and the couple share a son, Montague, who is 4. He also has another daughter, Olivia, 8, from a previous relationship with ex-partner Beverley Allen.

Christian has been spied alongside his boy riding a mini tractor alongside dad’s John Deere.
He’s also been seen standing with his vintage Aston Martin DB5, which was Sean Connery’s car of choice as James Bond in Goldfinger.
    READY STEADY COOK
Geri appears happy to play the role of housewife, often sharing photos in the kitchen rustling up treats.
A budding chef, she has shown off her baking skills by crafting cakes using a customised Ginger Spice KitchenAid mixer, which Christian had specially designed for her.
And with four separate ovens to choose from with the AGA range the kitchen boasts, she has plenty of space for her other favourite pastime – making bread.
You can bet, Christian, who also loves using the outdoor barbecue, and the kids are well fed in the Horner household with Geri’s production line of cakes and bread.

    ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK
Christian and Geri have a number of reception room to entertain from.
However, the most popular one appears to be where a £16,000 original Wurlitzer can be found.
When she celebrated her 45th birthday, Geri posted a video online singing along to Michael Jackson hit Billie Jean while thanking Christian for the music, which suggested it was a gift for her.
Another living room shows off a stunning chandelier, as well as a marble fireplace.

    OUTDOOR SPACE

And why not when you’ve got an incredible duck pond so big you can go boating on it.
Horner and Geri can even take their dogs for a walk around the expansive gardens.
The pair have even been seen zooming around on a quad bike, as well as picking raspberries in the garden with Montague.

Of course, no farm would be complete without animals either.
And Christian and Geri boast three miniature donkeys that are housed in the stables, as well as some goats.
The singer often shares videos online when it’s feeding time.
Clearly, you can forget the fancy racing circuit of heading to places like Dubai or Monte Carlo. A farmhouse is where it’s at.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen compared, from their luxury homes to their expensive cars and designer pets

IT is the most thrilling F1 championship in years.Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are vying for the title – with just six races left.

Next up, they’ll face off against one another in the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.
But it’s been a turbulent season between the pair, with a fiery rivalry threatening to get nasty after a collision in Monza saw Verstappen’s car land on top of Hamilton’s.
However, despite their differences on the race track they share similar interests off it.
Both boast luxury properties, they have amazing car collections, and a mutual love of animals.
    THE HOMES
For much of the year, Verstappen, who has a £40m fortune, lives in a £13million penthouse in Monte Carlo, which he is said to rent.
The Dutch driver’s home is in the same apartment block as Felipe Massa and Daniel Ricciardo.
Not much is known about its size, but Verstappen regularly shares his workouts on the vast balcony that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
Hamilton, believed to have around £280million in the bank, also has a Monaco pad in the exclusive Fontvieille district.
But he is planning to move back to London permanently when work is completed on his stunning £18million six bedroom villa.
Back in 2019, Hamilton splashed £32million on a New York apartment in a condo project part-owned by NFL great Tom Brady and his model wife Gisele Bundchen.

The 6,547 square-foot penthouse includes a huge outdoor area and has views of the Hudson River, as well as a swimming pool, fitness centre, squash court, library and wine cellar.
Neighbours include Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Austin Powers star Mike Myers.
And there’s also his Colorado mansion, which Lewis calls his favourite home and where he likes to spend the winter months on a snow mobile riding around the mountains.
    CARS
With their mega pay packets and love of cars, it’s no surprise that Hamilton and Verstappen have an impressive fleet of motors.
Today, Lewis is more eco-friendly and has moved to driving electric vehicles, including a recent £80,000 Mercedes EQS.
But in the past, he has been seen behind the wheels of a Pagani Zonda worth £1.5m, cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway in a £4million 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra, and parked outside a restaurant in a £2million LaFerrari.
He’s also got a Mercedes AMG Project One on order, that’ll cost north of £2.5million.
Verstappen has a love of British motors, prominently Aston Martin.
He has their concept super car, the £2million Valkyrie on order and due to be received next year.

Hamilton and his entourage only fly privately
In the past, he’s been spotted driving a DB11 (£150,000) and DBS Superleggera (£225,000).
But when he feels the need for speed, he has a £1.5million Ferrari Monza to drive, as well as a Renault R.S. 01 worth around £300,000 that can hit 186 mph.
Both, of course, have access to private jets.
    GIRLFRIENDS
Rich, successful, and living life in the fast lane, Hamilton and Verstappen will always be an attractive proposition.
Lewis’s lovelife has been played out in front of the media since he exploded on to the scene.
His most famous relationship was with Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger, who he dated on/off until 2015.
In recent years, he’s been linked with Barbara Palvin, Winnie Harlow, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora.
Verstappen, on the other hand, dates 32-year-old Brazilian model Kelly Piquet.
She used to see Russian racing driver Daniil Kvyat’s girlfriend, and they welcomed a daughter in 2019.

    PETS
When it comes to animals, Verstappen and Hamilton have a common ground.
Lewis has a pampered pooch, English bulldog Roscoe who rides on private jets with him and is often seen at various Grand Prixs.
Sadly, he lost his other bulldog Coco last year, who suffered a heart attack and passed away in his arms.
Verstappen too suffered heartbreak when his dog Spyke died aged 11, sharing a snap on Instagram of his beloved pet.
Animal lover Max also has adopted some cats, which sometimes travel with him.
On top of that, he grew up with a cockatoo.

    THRILL-SEEKING
When you drive a racing car for a job, that exhilaration needs to be found elsewhere.
Hamilton and Verstappen are thrill-seekers, taking on hobbies to fuel their need for an adrenaline rush.
Over the last couple of years, the seven-time world champion, who has a penchant for firing rifles at a gun range, has been learning how to sky dive.
He even shared his exploits on Instagram, hurtling through the sky from a small plane.

Verstappen wasn’t amused, though, declaring he wouldn’t be doing the same when asked in a press conference his thoughts on Lewis’s new talent.
However, on sea he is game to zoom around on a jet-ski.
Perhaps, when he can boast multiple F1 championship wins, he’ll be more daring.

Fernando Alonso would purposely RETIRE his car if he was behind in F1 race while at McLaren, claims Jenson Button

JENSON BUTTON has made a staggering revelation about Fernando Alonso’s time with McLaren. In a revealing interview with Nico Rosberg on the 2016 world champion’s YouTube channel, Button claims the Spaniard would occasionally retire his car if he was behind – even when there was nothing wrong with it.

The two were team-mates at McLaren for two seasons in 2015 and 2016 where they both struggled with Honda’s uncompetitive engine.
Alonso was particularly critical, famously labelling it a ‘GP2 engine’ when he was overtaken in the 2015 Japanese GP.
Button’s bombshell will raise eyebrows at McLaren and Honda, who now supply Red Bull.
He told Rosberg: “Fernando would play games a lot more, which in a way, I was at a point in my career where I was kind of up for games.
“We weren’t fighting anyone else. We were so slow that we were fighting against each other and we would play games, some of which I don’t want to go into too much.
“Most of the time it was holding back things. Holding back pace, holding back information about set-ups.

“Even if he didn’t have the pace, he would try to get the best out of the car.
“But if you were in front of him, he’d try different strategies to see if they’d work.
“There were other times where, if he was behind me, he’d say ‘there was a problem with the car’ and retire from the race!
“We weren’t scoring points, so he was saving the car for the next race, but he’d say ‘there’s a problem, there’s a problem!’
“[The team] would say ‘no, Fernando, there is no problem. Keep driving’.
“It was a funny time. I enjoyed my time with Fernando. He was an immense talent.”
Button was also quizzed by Rosberg about his time as Lewis Hamilton’s team-mate, also at McLaren.
The two Brits raced alongside each other for three seasons before Hamilton quit for Mercedes.
Button says that between Hamilton and Alonso, the seven-times world champion was the quicker, while the Spaniard was the more ‘complete driver’.
The ten greatest F1 drivers of all-time – according to SunSport’s motorsport correspondent Ben Hunt
He added: “I think Lewis is [faster over one lap]. I can only compare them when I had them as team-mates.
“I cannot compare them now, but the most complete driver was Fernando.
“He would find every way to be quicker than you. Lewis was a very straightforward team-mate.
“He was very quick. In testing he could be not really on the pace, I don’t think he was doing it on purpose.
“But when you get to qualifying, he would be on it. He would always find the lap time.”

Max Verstappen would have ‘PUNCHED’ Lewis Hamilton in face if huge crash at Italian GP had happened two years earlier

MAX VERSTAPPEN would have “punched” Lewis Hamilton in the face had their crash in Monza happened two years earlier. The two collided at the British GP at Silverstone and then again at the Italian GP a few races later as their F1 title race boiled over.

Hamilton was slapped with a 10-second time penalty for causing the crash in his home race while Verstappen was given a three-place grid penalty for his part in the Monza smash that resulted in them both being taken out of the race.
And former F1 driver, Timo Glock, believes that Verstappen is now showing the levels of restraint that he would not have been able to a few seasons ago.
Glock said: “Lewis never shows on the outside that he has pressure.
“He knows very well how to come across as calm.
“Of course, he also knows that when he puts on his helmet, it all depends.
“But he has found a way to appear relaxed and cool. Max has also managed that well so far.

“For me, he has made a huge leap, he has become much more relaxed, much more controlled in many ways.
“Two years ago, in a situation like the crash in Monza, he probably would have opened Lewis’ helmet and punched him.
“Now he leaves him on the left and thinks to himself: ‘See how you get out of this’.”
Verstappen currently leads Hamilton by six points going into this weekend’s US GP in Austin, Texas.

The Iceman is calling it a day on his career at the end of the season, which has just six races left.
But, rest assured, he will have the choice of some amazing homes to retire in.
First, there is his £20million James Bond villain-like Swiss villa worth a cool £20million.
Then there’s his reported three homes in his homeland of Finland, as well properties in Dubai and Thailand.
But it’s his mansion near Zurich that Kimi spends the majority of time with his stunning wife, Minttu, and children Robin and Rianna.
    BEST BAAR NONE
Kimi bought the dream house for a mega £17million in 2009.
Named Butterfly – although it’s unclear why – it can be found in Baar, a small village near Zurich.
Kimi explained: “We searched for about five years for a property where we could build our own house.
“Then we found Villa Butterfly which was ready for move-in and had a name too.”

Lush gardens overlook an incredible backdrop of the Zug lake with the Alps right behind it.
Astonishingly, the building also has a lift and the windows are bulletproof glass.
And there’s a fully-equipped gym to help Kimi stay in shape.
    MASSIVE GARAGE
As is a theme with racing car drivers, they like to take their work home with them.
Raikkonen is no different, which explains why his massive garage at Villa Butterfly can hold up to 10 cars.
Although he is said to own a £300,000 Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge and a £3million Ferrari Enzo , it’s motorcycles that hold the Finnish legend’s attention.

‘It’s finely balanced’ – Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen’s F1 title race to take another twist in US GP, says Hill

DAMON HILL is expecting another twist in the F1 title race at this weekend’s US GP.Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have traded places five times at the top of the table this season, with the Dutchman leading by six points with six races to go.
Lewis Hamilton could still pull off another twist in the Formula One title raceCredit: Splash
Max Verstappen is leading by six points ahead of Lewis Hamilton with six races to goCredit: AFP
But Hill, who won the title in 1996, is backing Hamilton to win in Austin on Sunday and fight for top-spot again.
He said: “I think Lewis is going to win, but that would also just bring him back perhaps into touch and there’ll be nothing between them in points.
“In fact, Max could come out of this one point in the lead if Lewis wins in the States, so how finely balanced is that?”
Meanwhile, Verstappen, who was third in Austin last time the race was held in 2019, remains unflustered despite the intense battle with Hamilton.
He said: “We have always been competitive in the US and have got close to some good results, so it’s about converting that into a win now.
“We go to every track now knowing that we can fight at least for a podium now, but also a win and that is different to past years.

“I don’t really believe in momentum swings, we always have to nail every aspect of the weekend to optimise our performance.
“If we do that then we can’t give anything more as a team. We have a very competitive car but you have to compare it to Mercedes and that is always the big question mark going into any race this season.
“Hopefully we can fight them this weekend and keep the lead in the championship.
“Every single week there are new challenges which we must overcome and this one will be no different.”

Hamilton will be confident of retaking the lead over Max Verstappen by winning in Austin.
The Dutchman currently holds a six-point advantage with six races to go after late drama in Turkey.

But the Stevenage star has won the United States GP six times in his career – including five since it moved to this circuit in 2012 – while Mercedes have come out on top in five of the last six years.
Hamilton will have his team with him all the way to keep him in the best condition physically and mentally.
