LEWIS HAMILTON has stepped up his rehab to be fit for this weekend’s Canadian GP as sports chiefs release radical plans to stop his car from bouncing.Hamilton, who arrived at the paddock in Montreal wearing a flowery green outfit, was left with a back injury after last Sunday’s Azerbaijan GP, saying the race was the most painful he had experienced in his 16 year F1 career.

His Mercedes teammate, George Russell also said it was only a matter of time before the bouncing – or porpoising as it is also known – caused an accident, as drivers were unable to see where they were going.
Hamilton, who has been having treatment from his right-hand woman, Angela Cullen, posted an image on Instagram and said: “I am forever grateful to have Angela with me on the road, I would be lost without her.
“We’ve been working each day on stretching, acupuncture and cryotherapy to recover.
“I’m feeling much better and today I was able to do my first run. Pushing through.”

It comes after Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said the seven-times F1 world champion was a doubt for this Sunday’s race in Montreal due to the bouncing.
The sport’s governing body, the FIA, have responded and say they will investigate what is causing some of this year’s cars to bounce up and down violently when the cars hit top speed.
However, the consequence could be bad news for Hamilton and Russell, as the FIA may impose strict rules to improve driver safety – which also may SLOW their car.

That enabled her to race in the GT4 European Series in 2015, as well as 2018’s gruelling 24 Hours of Nurburgring, which is recognised along with Le Mans as one of the toughest in the world.
As of 2019, Naomi’s been part of the W Series, who she is also diversity and inclusion ambassador for, and was a reserve last season.
Foray into presenting
Back in February, F1 fans might have caught a glimpse of Naomi introducing the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team car launch alongside F1 pit reporter Natalie Pinkham.
Then in March, she appeared as a co-host of new Sky Sports F1 show Any Driven Monday, which can be streamed on YouTube.
However, one troll questioned whether she was the right person to give her opinion.
The troll wrote: “Meet Naomi Schiff, Sky Sports latest Formula 1 commentator. Can you guess what her main qualification for the job is? Hint: It isn’t Formula 1 experience.”
In response Schiff posted three yawning emojis to highlight her boredom at receiving such abuse.
Fighting her corner
Lewis Hamilton was the first to defend Naomi’s corner.
The seven-time champion took to Twitter and voiced his displeasure at the tweet.

He wrote: “Naomi is an ex-professional racing driver & totally qualified to give her opinion as part of the Sky team.
“She’s been a great asset since joining & we should welcome more representative broadcasting with open arms.

The new regulations for the 2022 season have been difficult for many teams to get to grips with.
And Mercedes, who finished third and fourth last weekend, recently made noises to the FIA – F1’s governing body – about a potential rule change which would allow them to adjust the ride height of the cars.
But Brundle feels it is something the reigning constructors champions need to sort on their own.
