Despite the lack of clarity on the rules of the fight – it’s clear to see how highly the WBC value both Tyson and Jones Jr.

Even though the bout is just an eight-round exhibition, WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman thought it be best to crown the winner with a belt.
The announcement naturally drew criticism from fans, who are already up in arms over the amount of title belts in boxing.
What is the WBC Frontline Belt Tyson and Jones Jr are fighting for?
The WBC announced last month that they would be sanctioning the fight and creating the ‘Frontline Belt’ for Tyson and Jones Jr to battle for.
“WBC’s remote scoring system will be used to evaluate Tyson and Jones Jr.’s performance. Three champions will serve as the judges,@ a statement read.

“Each round will be scored and announced to the public. California State Athletic Commission will oversee, regulate, and sanction.”
Tyson and Jones Jr have previously won numerous WBC belts, most famously ‘Iron Mike’, who became the youngest heavyweight champ in history in 1986 when he beat Trevor Berbick in the second round.

By the time the fight is finished on Sunday morning, you’ll definitely be able to hear the birds chirping.

With two fights to kick off the pay-per-view coverage, depending on how long the fights go and any intermissions, Tyson vs Jones Jr is expected to get underway at around 4am.
The ring walks should begin around 3.45am.
It was expected that the main event would start a little later but Viddal Riley had to pull out of his fight on the undercard.

But Jones Jr said: “I’ve been trying to enjoy retirement, but people don’t seem to want to let me retire.
“They keep calling me, telling me that Mike wants to come back, and that you’d be a great opponent for Mike.”

WHILE most eyes will be on Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr’s mega-fight this weekend, host of the event Mario Lopez will also have his fair share of fans tuning in to watch.
Tyson and Jones Jr agreed to an eight-round exhibition contest earlier this year that was originally scheduled to take place in September.

The fight was put back to November 28, with broadcasters of the event Triller announcing that Lopez will be host for the star-studded night.
The 47-year-old has been working in Hollywood for his whole career and now has another high-profile job to add to his CV.

Mario Lopez began his career as a child actor in the 1980s but his big break came when he picked up a job with popular TV show Saved By The Bell in 1989.
Lopez played A.C. Slater for five years and instantly became a hit with fans.

Since then, Lopez has starred in various films and TV shows, while he even partook on Dancing with the Stars in the U.S.

They also state that Lopez’s salary for working with Extra is £4.5m.
It’s unknown just how much Lopez will be paid by Triller to host the event, but it should be handsomely.

Triller reportedly paid £37.5m for the streaming rights for Tyson vs Jones Jr, so they clearly aren’t short of cash.
When is Saved By The Bell returning?
Saved By The Bell was renewed for another season in 2019, a direct sequel to the series which Lopez finished starring in at the end of 1993.
The 10-episode season premiered on U.S. streaming service Peacock on November 25.

The pair were scheduled to fight in April before the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to those plans, and the same happened in July.

But now Dubois, the British heavyweight champion, and Commonwealth champ Joyce, will clash for their two titles as well as the vacant European belt.
Whoever wins will catapult themselves into the upper echelons of boxing’s glamourous heavyweight division, with big fights against Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury possibly in the offing.
SunSport have taken a look below at how both men stack up with each other.
Age and experience
One of the most talked about factors heading into this fight is just how experienced Joyce is and why Dubois might be lacking some.

Joyce, despite having just 11 professional fights, is 35, and is one of Britain’s most successful amateur boxers.

He won silver, but arguably should’ve been gold, at the 2016 Olympics in Rio and has picked up medals at the Commonwealth, European and World Championships too.
He’s also beaten former world champion Bermane Stiverne and title challenger Bryant Jennings as a pro.
Dubois, however, is just 23, though he’s had more pro fights at 15-0 than Joyce has.

The less said about Dubois’ opposition in that time, other than Nathan Gorman, the better.
Physicality
Both Dubois and Joyce are big, big men.
Dubois has some of the hardest punching power in the division and stands at 6ft 5in, just an inch shorter than his opponent Joyce.
Joyce at 6ft 6in, also has a two-inch reach advantage at 80 inches.

A lot has also been said about Joyce’s engine, with Carl Frampton noting earlier this week that he’s never seen a fitter boxer.
Dubois is no slouch himself, but has only been to a decision once in his career, which is why he’s favoured to have success in the early rounds.
Future fights
A win for Dubois, who is already highly-ranked with the WBO, could potentially see him in a tussle with Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua in 2021.
Joyce is ranked highly with the WBA, a belt which Joshua also holds.

On the night, Dubois and Joyce will be fighting for the British, Commonwealth and European titles.
All of the belts are expected to become vacant immediately after the fight so the winner can go on to challenge for world honours. More
