    England will face Italy if they make it past the Danes on Wednesday evening.
    The Italians are the only team to have won every game they have played at the tournament so far and impressed by beating Belgium’s ‘Golden Generation’ in the quarter-final.
    Spain were less impressive in the tournament, finishing second in their group behind Sweden.
    They then won an epic last 16 match 5-3 against Croatia after extra time before limping past ten-man Switzerland on penalties in the quarter-finals.
    But they took the Azzurri all the way at Wembley, with the match finishing 1-1 after 120 minutes.
    A penalty shootout followed, with Jorginho rolling in the winning spot-kick for the Italians and booking their place in the final on Sunday.

    England have a negative head-to-head record against Italy, having won eight, drawn eight and lost eleven.
    And their record against the Italians major tournaments is nothing short of dreadful.
    The Three Lions have met the Azzurri four times at European Championships or World Cups, winning zero, drawing one and losing three.
    The draw came in the Euro 2012 quarter-final when Roy Hodgson’s men held onto a 0-0 against Cesare Prandelli’s Italy before being knocked out on penalties.
    Last time the sides met competitively, Prandelli’s Italy beat Hodgson’s England 2-1 in the 2014 World Cup group stage.
    The sides have since played out two 1-1 draws in friendlies.

    Denmark have been on a mazy tournament run themselves, having lost their first two games before picking themselves up to make the semis.
    The Danes overcame Czech Republic 2-1 in their Baku clash on Saturday evening, with the winners of this game facing Italy in the final.

    Gareth Southgate has tinkered his England XI all tournament so far and he’s likely to do so again for their clash with Denmark.
    Bukayo Saka played no part of the Ukraine win because of an injury but could come in to replace Jadon Sancho, having impressed Southgate in games against Germany and Czech Republic.
    England don’t have to worry about any yellow card suspensions, which means Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips are set to continue in midfield.
    Southgate will also have to decide whether to switch to a back 5 to match Denmark’s formation.
    The Danes are likely to stick with Kasper Dolberg in attack, while Daniel Wass could start on the right.
    Yussuf Poulsen only made the bench against Czech Republic and will likely see his run out of the side continue.

    BORN in Munich, Brych was refereeing in the German lower leagues at the tender age of just 24.
    He impressed enough to make his 2. Bundesliga bow in 2001, before reaching the top league in Germany just three years later.
    By 2007 he was regularly involved in European matches and has since worked his way up to internationals.

    With tickets unavailable, there have been reports of black market prices of up to £6500 for the match.
