Yasir Al-Rumayyan was born in 1970 and graduated from King Faisal University in 1993. He later completed a general management programme at Harvard Business School.
He has a distinguished career in finance, which saw him become head of international brokerage at the Saudi Capital Markets Authority and a member of the board of directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange.
In 2015, he became managing director of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) which, along with Amanda Staveley of PCP Capital Partners and the Reuben brothers, has completed the Newcastle takeover.
A year later, he joined the board of the Saudis’ state oil company, Aramco, which he is now chairman of.

What has Al-Rumayyan said about the Newcastle takeover?
Following the purchase of the club by PIF, Al-Rumayyan said: “We are extremely proud to become the new owners of Newcastle United, one of the most famous clubs in English football.
“We thank the Newcastle fans for their tremendously loyal support over the years and we are excited to work together with them.”
Who else is on the Newcastle board?
The new Newcastle board will have just three members.
Al-Rumayyan will hold the bulk of the power, but he will be joined by Amanda Staveley, of PCP Capital Partners, and James Reuben, representing RB Sports and Media.
Staveley said: “This is a long-term investment. We are excited about the future prospects for Newcastle United.
“We intend to instill a united philosophy across the Club, establish a clear purpose, and help provide leadership that will allow Newcastle United to go on to big achievements over the long term.
“Our ambition is aligned with the fans – to create a consistently successful team that’s regularly competing for major trophies and generates pride across the globe.”
Reuben added: “We look forward to a great future for Newcastle United. Newcastle is a fantastic city, which is why our family has been investing heavily in the area for many years. To become part of this great Club and its amazing fans is a privilege.
“We will build a true community Club, based upon our family’s knowledge of the city and in line with our plans that have been worked on closely with Newcastle City Council to deliver long-term sustainable growth for the area.”

“Following the completion of the Premier League’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test, the club has been sold to the consortium with immediate effect.
“The legal disputes concerned which entities would own and/or have the ability to control the club following the takeover.

Amanda Staveley now has a 10 per cent stake in Newcastle United
    Who is Amanda Staveley?
Amanda Louise Staveley was born on April 11, 1973, near Ripon, West Riding in Yorkshire.

Staveley attended Queen Margaret’s School in York before going to St Catherine’s College, Cambridge, to read modern languages but she dropped out.
She founded PCP Capital Partners in 2005 which has an office in Park Lane, London, and its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

In September 2021, Staveley had a key role in Sheikh Mansour’s £210million purchase of Manchester City, through the Abu Dhabi United Group.
The deal is said to have earned PCP a commission valued at £10m.
The company was also involved in negotiations by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Dubai International Capital to buy a 49 per cent stake in Liverpool FC although the deal ultimately failed.
Her strong Middle Eastern connections also helped with her involvement with the investment in Barclays Bank towards the end of 2008.
The bank had been looking to recapitalise by raising money privately rather than accept a bail-out from the government following the financial crisis earlier in the year.
Staveley reportedly earned a fee of £30million for her role in the transaction, according to a report by Euromoney.
She has been involved in two previous attempts to take over Newcastle United and was successful on the third attempt.
The first £300m bid was made on November 20, 2017, but failed.
A second attempt, also said to be worth £300m, which was mainly funded by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, was reported in April 2020 but fell through on July 30, 2020, according to the BBC.
Staveley was finally successful with a bid, also said to be worth £300m, on October 7, 2021, which saw her take a 10 per cent share in the club as did Reuben Brothers, and the Saudi Public Investment Fund took an 80 per cent share.
What is Amanda Staveley’s net worth?
It has previously been reported Staveley’s net worth is £110million although some estimates have put this slightly higher at £115m.
The bulk of her fortune is thought to come from her high-profile deals.
She has been described as “Britain’s most glamorous financier”.

Do Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi have children?

Is Hughie Fury related to Tyson Fury, what skin condition did he suffer from and what is his boxing record?

HUGHIE FURY recently beat Mariusz Wach on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev, and is destined for big things. The 26-year-old won by unanimous decision against the Pole and now has 25 wins from his 28 fights.
Brit hero Hughie Fury faces Christian HammerCredit: News Group Newspapers Ltd
    How old is Hughie Fury?
HAILING from a boxing family, Hughie has been trained by his dad Peter since his teens.
He was born 18 September 1994 in Stockport.
Hughie is the cousin of ex-heavyweight world champ Tyson Fury.
Father Peter also previously trained Tyson, including for his world title win over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
Did he have a skin problem which nearly wrecked his career?
    FURY suffered with acne conglobate.
The illness that would leave his scar-riddled body ravaged, his energy levels depleted and his spirit at rock-bottom – with the side-effects of the prescribed medicine hindering him further.
He told ESPN before the Parker fight last year: “That’s all behind me now. I’ve got a clean sheet, I feel a different person and a lot stronger. My body wasn’t allowing me to do a lot before.
“It would put me out for two weeks at a time before the fight which was three or four weeks away.
“I just had to stop because I was worse off for training. I had a skin condition which was poisoning my blood and over the years it has got worse and worse.”
“I’ve had it for years, before my professional and amateur careers and it was difficult to live with.
“It put my immune system down. I saw people going forward and I was just going backwards because of it.
“It was horrific. I would try a shirt on and it would be covered in blood and every time I sparred my T-shirt would be soaked with blood.
“I’ve had it sorted for a year now. I took medication [Roacutane] for six months and it’s just gone now.”
What is Hughie Fury’s boxing record?
FURY’s only defeats in the pro ranks have been to Joseph Parker, Kubrat Pulev and Alexander Povetkin.
    His record stands at 25-3.
In 2012, he competed in the Youth World Championships, representing England, and took the Gold medal in the super-heavyweight class.
Of his 23 pro wins, 13 have come by way of knockout.
    Credit: Reuters
Fury Snr also trained Hughie’s cousin Tyson to success
    Who is Peter Fury?
A NOTORIOUS name in the North West, Peter Fury has a murky past in Manchester’s underworld.
He was jailed for ten years in 1995 for possession and intent to supply before being slapped with another charge in 2008 for money laundering.
But he now claims to be on the straight and narrow – putting that down to training nephew Tyson and his son Hughie.
He said: “I’ve just finished paying nearly a million quid to the Government.
“Now I have to show people that I don’t get into anything. I’m a recluse, really. The police have a lot of informants and intelligence, so they know I’m not active in anything. I’m happy with that.” More
