Why are Red Bull white at the F1 Turkish Grand Prix?

F1 is in Turkey today as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen continue their epic battle for the world championship. But Verstappen might initially be a bit tough for some viewers to spot in his Red Bull car, following a change in colour scheme.

Why are Red Bull in white at the Turkish Grand Prix?
Red Bull are in white as a tribute to their outgoing racing partner Honda.
The Japanese manufacturer will bid farewell to the Austrian team after seven years of providing its engine, as it bows out of F1.
Driver numbers are also placed on red circle backdrops – a reference to the flag of Japan.
And the body features the word ‘Arigato’ – Japenese for ‘Thank you’.
Sister team AlphaTauri is also set to run with the message on its cars, having served as Honda’s partner since 2019.
Red Bull will continue to use Honda power units in 2022 when an engine freeze is introduced as the newly formed Red Bull Powertrains takes on the manufacturer’s intellectual property.
Will Red Bull race in white until the end of the season?
No, the white shell will be a one-off tribute to Honda.

Why have Red Bull chosen the Turkish Grand Prix to change colour?
The Turkish Grand Prix has been chosen as F1 was set to race in Japan this weekend, before local authorities cancelled the event due to Covid concerns.
Team Principal Christian Horner said: “We had all been looking forward to giving Honda’s Japanese fans a chance to celebrate our extremely successful relationship in Formula 1, on home soil at Suzuka.
“With the race falling victim to the pandemic, we just couldn’t let the weekend pass without paying tribute to Honda and its amazing home fans by bringing a little bit of its heritage to Istanbul.
“The livery chosen for our cars pays homage to Honda’s remarkable F1 journey and hopefully we can give fans another victory in those legendary colours this weekend.” More

    FULL RACE RESULTS

    VERSTAPPEN TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD

    BOTTAS WINS

    BOT TOP
Bottas’ last win came over a year ago in the Russian GP.
He has now won his 10th in his F1 career, and he believes his performance was one of his best.
He said: “It’s been a while. It feels good. From my side, that’s one of the best races I’ve had.
“It’s not easy to choose the strategy here in these conditions. It feels like a well-earned victory.”
VALTTERI BOTTAS WINS THE TURKISH GP
Verstappen is second. Perez is third. Leclerc is fourth and Hamilton is down in fifth.
Good results all round for Red Bull, as Verstappen has a six point lead in the championship.

    FINAL LAP
Bottas is on his way to his 10th win in F1. His first since Russia last year.
HAMILTON NOW UNDER PRESSURE FROM GASLY
He is struggling with those new tyres. Gasly meanwhile is flying. He could pass the world champion here.
    HAMILTON IS FURIOUS
He’s discovered he dropped from third to fifth following that pitstop. He is now closing in on Leclerc, who is struggling for grip.

    LAP 52
Perez has now passed Leclerc and moves into the podium places.
LAP 51 HAMILTON PITS FOR TYRES
He has gone for a new set of intermediate tyres. He has now dropped to fifth and behind Perez.
Hamilton was incredibly relaxed about the decision but with the threat of rain, perhaps Merc could not risk keeping him out.
LAP 50 HAMILTON ASKED ABOUT HIS TYRES
He says: “I am sliding around, but it’s ok.” He’s still on the same set of tyres he stated the race on.
    LAP 47
Bottas regains the lead as he is on the new set of intermediate tyres. He passes Leclerc into Turn One. Good move from Bottas.

    LAP 46
Slow burner this race, but it is about to get pretty exciting. Hamilton is still on the same set of intermediate tyres.
    LAP 44
Leclerc, Bottas, Verstappen, Hamilton; that’s you top four. Bottas and Verstappen have stopped for new tyres.
LAP 42 HAMILTON QUESTIONS HIS TEAM’S CHOICE ON TYRES
The team have a new set of intermediate tyres ready, but he says he is not so sure.
His team are back in the garage while they re-assess the conditions.
Mercedes: “Box box, box box” Hamilton: “Why?” Mercedes: “New inter is the way to go” Hamilton: “I don’t think it is, man”
    PEREZ ALSO STOPS
The Mexican is in for tyres and Hamilton is now in fourth.
    LAP 38
Bottas now stops he has opted for a new set of intermediates. Leclerc leads the race, but has yet to stop.

    LAP 37
Verstappen pits from P2. It is a good stop. Very quick. 2.1 seconds. He is back out on track.
    LAP 35
Fantastic wheel to wheel action from Hamilton and Perez. Both kept it clean. It looked as thought Hamilton had the move done, but he fought back and held his time into Turn One.
The Mexican retains his position and stays in fourth and crucially holds up Hamilton for his teammate.
    LAP 33
Hamilton is now under a second off Perez. Crucially that means he is DRS distance.
    LAP 29
Good fight between Vettel and Ocon for 10th place. The Aston Martin man remains ahead.

HAMILTON REPORTS THAT HE IS LOSING GRIP
He radios the team saying: “Grip is starting to drop a little bit. Still no dry line. Exit of 8 only.”
LAP 26 – CRUCIAL PART OF THE RACE
The pitstop window is open as we approach this halfway stage of the race. Bottas leads Verstappen.
Leclerc, Perez, Hamilton is the top five.
    BOTTAS HAS A MOMENT
It was looking easy for the Finn up front, but perhaps it is not that straight-forward in the conditions.

Tyson Fury net worth: How much money did Gypsy King earn from Deontay Wilder trilogy fight and what does he make now?

TYSON FURY has successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title in an epic bout with Deontay Wilder. The Brit survived two knockdowns before knocking out the Bronze Bomber in round eleven.
Tyson Fury remains WBC heavyweight championCredit: PA:Press Association
What is Tyson Fury’s net worth?
Tyson Fury’s net worth following his second fight against Wilder was estimated at around £70m.
The Gypsy King also made a cool £12m from his single WWE appearance, when he was victorious over Braun Strowman.
That is on top of his previous bout against Wilder, in which Fury pocketed around £8m.
And this figure will have increased significantly following his second win over the man from Alabama.

How much did Fury earn from beating Wilder?
The purse for the Fury vs Wilder trilogy bout was reportedly split 60/40 in Fury’s favour.
The Gypsy King was expected to earn a guaranteed £22m plus 60 per cent of the pay per view revenue.
Wilder was set to earn a guaranteed £15m plus 40 per cent of the PPV take.
In their last fight, there was a reported purse of £3.67m, with both fighters ultimately taking home around £18.36m once PPV revenue was added.
How much could Fury earn from a fight with Anthony Joshua?
If Fury fights Joshua one day, there would be a huge pot of money for that fight to take place, but less so than the £150m that was at stake over the summer.
The fight got put off and Joshua lost his interim fight with Oleksandr Usyk, likely putting an all-British undisputed heavyweight clash to bed. More

When is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua happening, where will fight take place, how much money will they earn for clash?

ANTHONY JOSHUA vs Tyson Fury is the fight EVERY British boxing fan wants to see.But with the two fighters having seemingly contrasting fortunes in recent weeks, the fight looks further away than ever, despite being so close earlier this summer.

Joshua vs Fury – when will it happen?
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is set to take place over two fights, with the pair verbally agreeing a deal earlier this year.
The first fight was supposed to happen in August before Deontay Wilder’s team won a legal battle against Fury, securing the Bronze Bomber’s right to a contracted trilogy rematch.
Both Joshua and Fury have since hinted they’re prepared to re-enter negotiations for a fight in 2022, but they must first get past their next opponents.
Joshua vs Fury – where will it take place?
As stated by Hearn, the first fight is likely to take place in Saudi Arabia, with a second eyed to take place in the UK.
Anthony Joshua successfully regained his titles against Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi while Tyson Fury wowed the crowd by making a WWE appearance in the Gulf State.
There, he was victorious over Braun Strowman.
Joshua vs Fury – how much will they earn?
A lot. That’s the simple answer. Both Joshua and Fury have already made upwards of £40million each for their respective fights with Ruiz Jr and Wilder.
So when they fight each other, expect the figures to be at last double that.
Hearn also spoke earlier this year about how he expects the pair to make ‘Mayweather money’, referencing the grand purses Floyd used to pull in for his fights.

“It’s certainly I think, you know, the biggest fight, the most lucrative fight, in boxing right now – unquestionably,” Hearn said.
“That’s Mayweather money. You know? And we haven’t seen Mayweather money since Mayweather.
“I think it’s impossible to give a number. There’s no set purses for this fight because, obviously, it’s a revenue share. But it’s certainly gonna break records everywhere.”
It’s been speculated, however, that the pair could earn £80m each.
Joshua vs Fury – what hurdles are left to clear?
Unfortunately for fight fans, a few.
First, Joshua has to defeat Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch, which could take place in early 2022.
After beating Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight, Fury will face either Dillian Whyte or Otto Wallin.
Should Joshua and Fury come out of their bouts victorious, talks will likely resume between the pair for a fight to take place in early 2022.
Joshua vs Fury – what channel will it be on in the UK?
This could be a tricky one.
Joshua has an exclusive deal with Sky Sports in the UK, one which expires after this fight with Usyk, and while Fury’s deal with BT Sport isn’t exclusive, he’s closely aligned with them.
Fury, however, has fought on Sky Sports Box Office before, most notably for his world heavyweight title win over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
Don’t be surprised if the two sides come to an agreement where both Sky and BT decide to work together on a dual-broadcast.
Streaming DAZN, however, have also entered the UK market, and they’re likely to want a slice of the pie, too.
One thing holding any potential bids from DAZN, however, is that they don’t offer fights on pay-per-view, like Sky and BT do.
In the U.S., the situation is also tricky.
Fury has an exclusive deal with ESPN, while Joshua’s last four fights have been shown on streaming service DAZN in the U.S.
ESPN offer a pay-per-view service for their big fight nights while DAZN work on a subscription-based model, making a deal for the fight to be shown on both channels difficult.
Arum recently said: “It will be a normal pay-per-view here (in the United States). ESPN will be the distributor.”
“Obviously, the big market is the UK, where everyone is talking it will do three million homes. Sky and BT both will have it on pay-per-view.”
DAZN will likely stream the fight for rest of the world territories.
Joshua vs Fury – what have they all said?
Joshua: “We were meant to have fought by now and here we are talking about it,” Joshua said.
“But it will happen. I know what people are saying about boxing politics, but I’ll promise before the end of my career I will have done everything in my power to fight Tyson Fury.”
Fury: “Anthony Joshua’s fought not one heavyweight in his prime.

“They’re all former good men, back in the early 2000s, late 2000s, but not in 2020-odd. They were good men 10 years ago.”
Hearn: “I think AJ, in his head, probably thinks the fight will never happen. I would like to be more hopeful and I think it will happen.
“If AJ knocks out Usyk and Fury knocks out Wilder then in four months we are talking about an even bigger fight. One could lose or look bad but I do get the feeling if they both win then the fight is huge. I am hoping it works out for the best.” More

What is the latest update on Deontay Wilder’s condition? Bronze Bomber taken to HOSPITAL after Tyson Fury trilogy defeat

TYSON FURY has pulled another victory against Deontay Wilder out of the bag to remain WBC heavyweight champion of the world. But the Gypsy King was made to work a lot harder for it than their previous bout, as he survived two knockdowns to deliver an eleventh round KO.

And following the match, Wilder has been taken to hospital after getting knocked down four times.
What is the latest update on Deontay Wilder’s condition?
Just as in his second fight with Fury, Deontay Wilder has ended up in hospital following defeat to the Gypsy King.
The Bronze Bomber will undergo tests this morning.
However, the Wilder camp so far say this is simply a precaution.
Following the fight, Wilder said: “I did my best, but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened.
“I know that in training he did certain things, and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277 pounds to be a ballet dancer.
“He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”
And Fury commented: “Wilder is a tough guy with a big heart to keep going, I think a doctor got in the ring and checked him.
“He took a lot of punishment and that puts miles on the clock – but so did I.”
In their meeting 18 months ago, Wilder was taken to hospital after suffering a suspected burst eardrum. More

    What have they said?
Smith: “I’ve never lost to a domestic fighter as a pro. I’ll beat Anthony Fowler; I’ll never lose to a domestic fighter. That’s a good little record to have.
“I turned pro and I’ve had 30-odd fights and I’ve never lost to a Brit. If I beat Fowler, I’m not going to fight another domestic fighter again, unless it’s a [Chris] Eubank or someone like that.
“I’m confident that I beat Anthony Fowler every day of the week and twice on Sunday. If I turn up at 100% then I beat Anthony Fowler. The way I see the fight going, it’ll be competitive early doors and then experience, cuteness and everything else will come on. I’ll stop him down the straight.”
Promoter Eddie Hearn: “This is the biggest night of boxing we’ve ever put on in Liverpool. The biggest Saturday night fight card we’ve put on since I’ve promoted boxing.
“This fight is a fight that quite frankly I hadn’t even thought of a couple of months ago. Liam Smith went to Russia and was robbed in a fight which should have taken him on to challenge for a world title.
“Anthony Fowler has improved and improved under the tutelage of Shane McGuigan and wants all the big challenges.” More
